Chapter 224: Old man Tian
"Ok, that's old man Tian. You don't need to mind him. He's always sleeping here every morning." Every time Feng Meifeng goes across the park, she would see old man Tian sleeping on the bench.
"He's pretty strict. As long as you don't bother him, then he won't do anything to you." When she greets him before, the old man would only grunt at her. Feng Meifeng continues to drag Lu Chen to the school.
However, Lu Chen couldn't help but look back at the old man sleeping there. He felt something odd with him.
Yet, he couldn't put his hand on it. The only thing he could do is follow Feng Meifeng to school.

When the two walks into the classroom,
"Student Lu Chen! Welcome back!"
"Brother Chen, are you still feeling sick?"
"How could he be sick when he's able to come to school?"
"It was so lonely without you here, brother Chen."
The moment Lu Chen walked into the classroom, he was bombarded by his classmates. All of them were worried about him or talked about how they miss him.
Lu Chen smiles, "Thank you, I'm feeling fine now. I will be coming to school like usual. So don't worry about me."
For the past few days, the classroom atmosphere wasn't so good. All the female students were gloomy and lifeless. Any sort of movement from the guys will be met with a roar from the girls.
But now that Lu Chen's back, the guys felt so much relief. They don't have to be cautious anymore.
Another female student says, "Don't worry about us, brother Chen! We weren't the ones who were worried about you the most. The class monitor has been worrying all day long about you even after going to the hospital."
"What are you saying!" Feng Meifeng's face turns red. Never did she expect her classmate to say that. It still wasn't done tho.
"Yeah! The class monitor's been going crazy with loneliness when you weren't here." The more the class talks about it, the more her face turns redder.
But what they all said was true. Besides the girls being off the edge from Lu Chen's absence, Feng Meifeng was the person who got hit by his absence the most.
Almost every class, Feng Meifeng looked out the window, zoning out to what's happening in the class. Nobody could snap her out of the zone, like a statue, unmoved by everything around her.
Lu Chen scratches his head as he turns to Feng Meifeng, "Sorry for making you worry." He didn't expect Feng Meifeng would worry about him so much. From the calm expression she had when she came to the hospital, Lu Chen couldn't tell.
Feng Meifeng looks down on the floor in embarrassment. She didn't say anything to him as she quickly walks to her seat.
'Heh.' Lu Chen chuckles. Turning to his classmates, "Classmates, let's get ready for class, shall we?" Immediately after he said this, all the girls quickly got to their seats and brought out their books.
Lu Chen walks to his desk, and the moment he sat down, Zhang Jian asks him,
"So, have you bought the company yet?" Lu Chen smirks at him,
"Shouldn't you be asking your best friend if there was nothing wrong with him?"
Zhang Jian scoffs at that, "Why should I be worried about you? You didn't go to a dinky small hospital. You went to a five-star hotel suite." Just from going to the hospital for a few days, Zhang Jian knew the nurses were crazy over his best friend.
"..." Lu Chen became speechless. He couldn't say anything to that because it's true. He was treated like a king when he was at the hospital.
"I already know which company to take over. However, it's going to take some time for me to get everything ready." For the company to be operational, it would take a good amount of time for him to deal with the internal problems.
"How long are we talking?" When Lu Chen looks at Zhang Jian's face, he chuckles. The man looks like a puppy, ready for a treat. There's pure eagerness and hopefulness in his eyes.
"Hmmm, it should take at least a month or two. We still need to do other things too. You know that, right?"
