Chapter 369: Rising popularity
"Thank you for all of your hard work." The director bows his head at Zhang Jian and Lu Chen. The interview finishes without any problems.
"Thank you for inviting us. Hope you have a great day." Zhang Jian and Lu Chen say their goodbyes. As the two got out of the studio, the fans were still outside. There was actually more that showed up.
"Can we have your autograph!"
"Please! One picture!"
Zhang Jian's fans circle around the two, asking him for photos and autographs.
Zhang Jian gave Lu Chen a look, and Lu Chen just nodded to it.
"Please line up if you guys want autographs. And please don't push. I don't want any of you guys to get hurt." His smooth voice made the girls blush.
As Zhang Jian gives autographs to his fans, one of his fans asks,
"Is that your boss?"They notice Lu Chen standing by the side, looking at his phone.
"Yep. My boss is a little shy. But he's a good guy." Zhang Jian jokes. Their eyes sparkle. Some even rushed towards him,
"Hmm? What's wrong?" Lu Chen's confused why the fans were coming over to him now. Shouldn't they be surrounding Zhang Jian instead?
"Thank you for giving brother Zhang Jian the chance to become a star! You are the best CEO!" The fans shout out.
"..." Lu Chen just stays quiet and speechless.
"Umm, can we have a picture with you?" One of the fans said embarrassingly.
"...But I'm wearing a mask."
"We don't mind."
"...Alright." Lu Chen didn't want to do it. But he didn't want to make a scene. After taking the picture, the fans ran back to Zhang Jian.
It only took a few minutes. As the two were driving back home,
"Hey, brother Chen, thanks."

"Heh, just take the compliment. Tell me when we'll arrive at your home." Zhang Jian doesn't say anything else as he takes a nap.

"Always straight to the point?" Chu Jingyi jokes. However, his voice turns serious, "You guys should be warier about going forward from now on. Many companies are wanting to take you down."
The amount of revenue Zhang Jian produced is nothing to be laughed at. He could become one of the best out there in a couple of years. And that's why companies are eyeing down ARCS. They want to take it down to take Zhang Jian.
"Oh." Lu Chen's undisturbed by what he said.
"...Are you really not a middle-aged man? How can you be so calm about all of this?!" Chu Jingyi always felt something was off about Lu Chen. He's way too calm under pressure.
