As Feng Meifeng's heart was in turmoil about this,
"Hey, pretty lady. Why are you all here alone?" Feng Meifeng looked up to see a guy in front of her. He wore a purple V-neck shirt and sunglasses on his head too.
Feng Meifeng's face revolted as she stared at him.
Disgusting. The guy used perfume, and the smell was something she had no words to describe.
"Waiting for someone." Her voice was frank and kurt.
"Are you sure? I don't think that person is coming any time soon. How could someone leave a beauty like you waiting?" The man sat beside Feng Meifeng.
Such a beauty! That guy had been eyeing Feng Meifeng up and down for the past hour since he entered the restaurant!
He never saw someone this beautiful.
"..." Feng Meifeng didn't say anything and rolled her eyes.
But the guy continued to be pushy, "That guy doesn't deserve a girl like you. Let's go and get out of here."
"Back off." Feng Meifeng's voice was dark. But the guy didn't care as he got closer to her, wanting to touch her.
Feng Meifeng was going to slap his hand away, but,
"What do you think you're doing to my girl?" A cold voice cut in. And then a scream came from the guy. It was Lu Chen, and he held onto the guy's hand.
"Lu Chen!" Feng Meifeng's face brightened, not caring about the guy screaming in agony.
"To think you would be in trouble in a few minutes." Lu Chen sighed. But then he asked,
"Are you sure you want to do something like that?" His question was directed to the guy and his grubby paws.
"N-no! I won't do anything like this again!" You're going to snap my arm! Lu Chen's hand was a vice! If he placed even more force, he would snap his arm!
"Good. You can scram now." Lu Chen let the guy's arm off. The moment he did, the guy quickly fled the scene without a second thought!
Lu Chen sat across from Feng Meifeng and sighed, "Seriously, you should do something about your looks."
Feng Meifeng scoffed, "How am I supposed to change my face? I can't do anything about it." There was no way she could do something like that!
"You should wear more. I don't want guys to look at you like that." Lu Chen said as he looked at what Feng Meifeng wore. It was an off-shoulder type of shirt.
It gave a sexy and mature look to Feng Meifeng.
"But it's the style." Feng Meifeng looked at a magazine book and found this outfit cute.
"Of course it is. But when you wear it, it becomes cuter than it should." Lu Chen said calmly.
Feng Meifeng blushed, "Don't say anything like that! Anyways, get something to eat, you idiot. You're going to starve yourself to death. How come you didn't eat dinner?!"
"Alright, alright, mom." Lu Chen rolled his eyes.
"Who's a mom! I'm not a mom?! How can I be a mom?!" Feng Meifeng's face turned an extra shade of red as she screamed out.
"..." I think you're thinking about something else entirely.
Lu Chen didn't think about it as he started ordering from the menu. And when the food came out, Lu Chen ate without a thought.
Feng Meifeng was right. His body was starved, and he ate quickly without thinking about who was around him. But then he noticed something off as he looked up.
"What?"

"Nothing, just thinking about something."
