Chapter 433: A Person Missing
"Welcome back, manager." When Deng Chung walked into the room, the workers greeted him. He nodded,
"Is everything ready?"
"Mmhmm. Almost all the models have arrived. And they are in the dressing room right now." One of the workers said.
"I see." Deng Chung nodded his head. He turned to Zhang Jian, "Mr. Zhang Jian, please go to the dressing room. A stylist and make-up artist are there to help you get change."
"Gotcha." Zhang Jian nodded as he walked into the dressing room.
"Manager, all the cameras and digital equipment are green too." Another worker said.
"What about the lighting?" Deng Chung said.
"They should be working."
"Check on it. It can't be "Should." It has to work." Deng Chung said, and the workers quickly moved. All the workers came to Deng Chung, telling them about their checkups.
Finishing up, Deng Chung asked, "Is something the matter?" The question was directed to Lu Chen. He realized Lu Chen was staring at him with surprise and wonder.
Lu Chen answered,
"Sorry, I was surprised by how serious and hardworking you are. Meeting your brother, I thought you would be more like him." Even if Deng Yi said Deng Chung was different from Deng Haoren, there was no way he could believe it.
The image of Deng Haoren was too ingrained into his mind to stop comparing.
"I understand." Deng Chung sighed as he grabbed his head, "I'm sorry about what my brother did. I never expected him to do this when dealing with a business partner." Deng Chung knew how much of a spoiled child Deng Haoren was. But never did he think he would do something this foolish.
"Yeah." Lu Chen couldn't go on with this conversation.
"I'm ready." Zhang Jian screamed out as he came out of the dressing room with different clothes. It was an autumn style. A dark orange shirt with light gray pants.
And he wasn't alone as the other models were dressed in that too.
"Alright, we'll be going at it two at a time! Please go back to the dressing room to change into another outfit!" Deng Chung screamed out. And the models nodded.
As the two watched the models pose, Lu Chen asked, "How many outfits are they doing?"
"They would each do 2 outfits. But for Zhang Jian and two others, they would be doing more."
"I see."
"Mr. Zhang Jian is working out so well." Deng Chung praised Zhang Jian's posing.
"Well, that's to be expected." Zhang Jian wouldn't be doing badly, not after working his blood, sweat, and tears.
As Deng Cheng looked at how well Zhang Jian was doing,
"Manager! We have a situation!" One of the workers came running up to the two.
"What happened?" Deng Chung frowned.
"One of the models couldn't make it." That was the situation.
"One model missing wouldn't make a difference. So what about it." Having one model missing would be fine. He didn't understand why the worker was so intense.
But then his expression changed. Don't tell me.
"The problem is the person missing is Song Xu." Hearing the person missing, Deng Chung could only grab his head again.
Song Xu was one of the top models he had planned to be here. He was on the same level as Zhang Jian.
"This could be a problem." Deng Chung changed his expression to a soft one. Some models were looking at them. If he showed any hint of a problem, they would find out.
Zhang Jian was the only one who walked over, "What's the problem, brother Chen?"
