Lu Chen knew these bruises would last for a few days, to say the least. It might even last longer. Lu Chen tended all his wounds as he thought about Elder Wu's moves.
It was different from the last time I fought him. Lu Chen remembered all the fights before. And each one, Elder Wu would use a different style to handle him. But this one was different from the rest.
It was more profound and lethal.
Could I use this move to deal with him? Lu Chen thought about how to deal with Han Meng.
Lu Chen closed his eyes as he started to make his move. His hands moved back and forth. It was a slick and cool motion. It was as if he sliced the air bit by bit.
Copy him. He said in his mind as he remembered it. But as he focused on copying, Lu Chen didn't notice the shadow creeping toward him!
"Young master!" A scream snapped Lu Chen out of his focus as Kang Shuchun tackled him! If this happened at another time, Lu Chen would catch her with ease.
But Lu Chen was injured and was too focused on today to notice.
"Woah!" Lu Chen fell to the ground. He smacked his head right into the counter.
Rubbing his head, Lu Chen looked down at who tackled him, and it was none other than Kang Shuchun!
"Shuchun? When did you come home" Lu Chen was surprised. It's been a while since he last saw her.
"Young master." Kang Shuchun didn't respond to him and bawled her eyes out.
"Umm, are you ok?" Lu Chen asked with a wry look. He had never witnessed Kang Shuchun cry out so hard like this.
"Young master!" But Kang Shuchun continued to call out to Lu Chen as she cried more.
"Wait, stop crying and get off of me first." This situation was so weird.
Lu Chen didn't know his words would cause a problem.
"..." Lu Chen's words caused a giant explosion in Kang Shuchun's mind! Young master wants me to get off. Young master doesn't want to be with me anymore!
That did it,
"Young master doesn't want me anymore! There's no meaning to life!" Kang Shuchun shouted in a fury.
"What are you talking about?! Also, what are you going to do with my toothbrush?!" Lu Chen shouted. Kang Shuchun grabbed his toothbrush. He wondered what she was going to do to it. However,
"I'm going to end my life with this!"
"Woah! Cool it!" Lu Chen quickly grabbed Kang Shuchun's hand. How are you going to kill yourself with a toothbrush? But knowing Kang Shuchun, she could do it somehow if she tried.
"No! Let me go! A life without the young master is a life I can't live with!" Kang Shuchun roared. She tried to shake him off, but that just caused the situation to look even weirder!
"Wait! Wait! Wait!"
"Xiao Chen! What's going on?!"
"Young master, are you ok?!"
Because of all their shouting and screaming, Zhang Wenling, Elder Wu, and the rest burst through the door.
"..." "..." "..."
There was a moment of silence for all of them there. Lu Chen was naked with only his boxers on. What made it worse was his being on top of Kang Shuchun, pinning her to the ground while she had tears in her eyes.
There was nothing to say.
"What are you doing, you stinking brat!" Zhang Wenling shouted as she smacked her son in the face!
