Chapter 565: I Will Pay For Everything.
"You told them about it?" Han Meng looked at Lu Chen as he put his phone back into his pocket.
"Mmmhmm. We have all night to deal with them." Lu Chen said calmly.
"That's good. Also, this bad car smell is killing me." Han Meng frowned.
The two weren't in Lu Chen's car. Instead, they borrowed one from Zi Han.
"We have to suck it up for now." Lu Chen frowned at the smell too. It seemed this car wasn't used for quite some time. There was mold from how uncleaned it was. But it was inconspicuous.
"When will we get there, brother Han Meng?"
"We're going to be a few blocks away from there." Han Meng cooly said as he drove the car up. The area they arrived at was pretty abandoned.
"We'll stay here on the lookout." Han Meng said as he pointed at another abandoned factory.
"Understood." Lu Chen nodded, and they got out of the car. The two weren't dressed in their regular clothes anymore. They were dressed in black, and their vital areas were covered in armor.
"Elder Zi Han really had everything." Lu Chen was surprised by how much gear Zi Han had. When they arrived at the gym, there was a secret room full of different equipment.
"Yeah, Zi Han has a selection of equipment. Catch." Han Meng tossed a duffle bag to Lu Chen. The two climbed the ladder, getting on top of the roof of the building.
Han Meng took some binoculars out and looked in, "Seems like the place. They have guards looking out too." He saw a couple of people standing on ledges, acting as guards.
"Did they notice us?" Han Meng shook his head, "They don't have binoculars. And I think they're just there to keep onlookers away."
"Do you see Shang Mingtao there?" That was the better question. If he was not in the factory, and they rushed in, they would face a group of assassins!
Han Meng frowned, "I can't see him from here." The factory had little to no windows. And the windows were dusty too, making it difficult to see in.
Hearing this, Lu Chen frowned. But Han Meng shook his head, "You don't have to worry so much. I know of a guy that could get us a clearer picture of the inside of the factory."
"Who?"
"Calling him right now." Han Meng said as he took out his phone and called a number,
"Yo! I need a favor from you!" When Han Meng said that, Lu Chen heard the other person speaking. That guy sounds annoyed. And he was right,
"Yeah, I know. It's another favor. But come on. This time, it's serious." Han Meng said as he rolled his eyes. But then his eyes widened,
"You want how much for your help?! Can't you give me a discount?!"
Lu Chen added, "Brother Han, I'll pay for everything. It was my friend who got taken away. Don't worry about money."
"Really? Are you sure?" Han Meng said. Lu Chen nodded,
"The sooner we get in, the quicker we can save him."
