"That's it! Something's wrong!" Bai Liu screamed out. There were no excuses to give herself to calm down.
It has been a month since Greed Viper took the money. There was no notification or message on the process of their mission.
What made it worse was there were no signs of Bai Lei and Liao Yan either! She had been texting and calling the two, but there was no response. All of her answers were sent to voice messages or left unread.
Liao Jin's face turned grim. He hoped there was a comeback from Greed Viper.
Shit! Did they run away with my money?! Liao Jin used all the savings he had to hire Greed Viper.
It was as if he was holding onto a rope to save his life. And that rope was Greed Viper. But that rope was now broken, and he was falling into the bottomless pit.

"It's mainly about normal things and business." Bai Xiaoqing did call Lu Chen a couple of times. But their conversation was only about normal things.
"Father, why do you want to keep that kid close to him? Xiaoqing is much better than him in everything." Bai Ling frowned. He didn't think much about Lu Chen. The only thing he had going was his face and his strength.

"What do you know?! That's why you're so dense to everything." Bai Geming scoffed at his son as he explained,
"Background and face and all the information is not the only thing you need to look at!" Bai Geming realized something. Lu Chen was hiding something behind him. He didn't know what it was, but he found him interesting.
"Anyways. Xiaoqing, keep talking to the boy."
"Understood." Bai Xiaoqing nodded. As they talked,

"Who is banging the door like that?! Bolin, check who it is!" Bai Geming frowned.
Fu Bolin nodded as he walked to the front door,
"Welcome-" "Move out of the way!" Bai Liu had pushed Fu Bolin out of the way as she rushed towards Bai Geming!
"Bai Liu! How dare you rush into my home like this?!" Bai Ling said with a frown. But Bai Liu didn't care as she looked at Bai Geming,
"Father! I need your help!"
