Chapter 587: Interviews
"The Lu family's brat?" "The kid?! "..." Bai Geming and Bai Ling's eyes widened at Bai Xiaoqing's conjecture. The ones who didn't say anything were Bai Liu and Liao Jin.
"Why do you think that?!" Bai Geming asked, wondering how Bai Xiaoqing would make such a deduction.
"Grandfather, I've only said it as a guess. Not as a concrete choice." Bai Xiaoqing shook her head, "The only reason I said this is because he fits the description well enough."
Lu Chen was a great fighter. It was no wonder the bodyguards couldn't stop him.
"What about the cameras?" Bai Geming asked. Lu Chen wasn't the type of person who looked adept with technology.
"I think the other one dealt with the cameras." There were two people. If Lu Chen was the brawn, the other guy should be the brains. Or he could pay someone.

"And he does have animosity with Liao Yan." That was the big thing for Bai Xiaoqing to think it was Lu Chen. The most recent case of Liao Yan pissing people off was Lu Chen.
"We should go get him right now." Hearing all of this, Bai Ling got up from his seat.
"Father, this is only a guess. He may not be the one who did it." Bai Xiaoqing's conjecture was only a guess.
"Bolin, go check up on anything Liao Yan has done. Also, check to see whether or not Lu Chen had a connection to this. Check what he's been doing during the days before Liao Yan got kidnapped."
That was important.
"Understood, young miss." Fu Bolin nodded and walked away.
But what if it was? The thought was in Bai Xiaoqing's mind as she pondered if Lu Chen was really the one who kidnapped him.

"What did you think about them, CEO?" Duan Huiling asked.
A dark expression was plastered on Lu Chen's face as he shook his head, "Not good."
Lu Chen looked down at the papers which showed the new recruits.
"There's no way we could hire them as a secretary." The moment the job request was opened, many people rushed to ARCS, wanting to be interviewed.
Duan Huiling was the one who interviewed the people. But Lu Chen watched them as well. He had the video feed of Duan Huiling interviewing them.
Duan Huiling nodded, "Indeed. I have the same thought."
"There really isn't anyone who can replace you." Lu Chen didn't sugarcoat his words as he said this. The resume plus their interviews weren't up to Lu Chen's standards.
He needed someone who was experienced and organized when they worked. That person was going to be working under him.
And what made it weirder was that some came for Zhang Jian and Chu Jingyi.
"But I think some of them can be hired for PR and other jobs." Duan Huiling understood why Lu Chen didn't want them to take the secretary role. But they could work on other things.
"I think a fourth of them would work well. We can open up an internship position too. How many interviews do we have left?" Lu Chen asked with a calm face.
Many people were applying for the job. Lu Chen had to split it up into 2 days.
Duan Huiling explained, "There are 20 more applicants."
"Alright." Lu Chen didn't say much, but there was a long sigh that came out of his mouth. I hope there's a good one.
