Chapter 614: Deep Despair
"It's you?" Liao Yan's expression turned blank as he stared at Lu Chen. The latter found it odd,
"What? Did you think it was someone else?" Lu Chen chuckled. It was obvious that it was him who attacked Liao Yan. Even a child could figure out it was him. But it seemed Liao Yan was dumb enough to not guess it was him.
It was him. The person who made him go through that endless torture and hell was none other than Lu Chen. The person who he thought was a loser was the culprit.
Something broke inside Liao Yan as he stared at Lu Chen. And Lu Chen realized it too. He smirked, "How does it make you feel? To know that someone you thought was a loser caused you to suffer."
Liao Yan burst into tears. His mouth stuttered, "I will not let you get away with this!"
"Oh, you little naive idiot, but I've already have." Lu Chen laughed coldly. He would hand Liao Yan over to Bai Geming, and that would be it.
"Maybe I will go after your family as you did? Or maybe I should leave you in here some more?"
"!"
"Those guys haven't left far enough. I could call them back easily." Lu Chen explained, "Do you want that?"
"..." Liao Yan stayed quiet. But that silence meant a no.
"Does this despair make you want to die?" It was an obvious answer. Lu Chen grabbed Liao Yan's head,
"Too bad. You're going to suffer. You're going to suffer and wish you were dead too." Liao Yan shivered.
And Lu Chen didn't say anything else as he threw him on the ground. He got up and walked away with Han Meng.
"Damn, little brother. I didn't think you would do something like that." Han Meng quipped.
"Hey, you said it before; you expected him to crack. I just did what you said and broke him." Though, I knew that clown wasn't going to break. Liao Yan was too much of a fool to crack that easily.
That was why he showed his face. He knew that sudden revelation would send a shock throughout Liao Yan's core. Lu Chen understood that would crack him. And it worked.
"...That doesn't change the fact you had an evil look on your face." Lu Chen's expression as he talked to Liao Yan was off, to say the least.
It was crazed.
"That wasn't my fault. Liao Yan was the one who caused all of this. He attacked my family too." Lu Chen wasn't a saint. There was no way he would let him go after what he had caused.
He wanted to drive it in deeper.
"But what you did was pretty harsh." Han Meng didn't think Lu Chen drove it in slowly. No, he took a sledgehammer and slammed the damn thing down!
"Slowly drowning him in pain won't deal the most damage. I want to make him feel the deepest despair when his hatred is at maximum." Lu Chen said calmly. Can't believe I'm using this strategy.
This wasn't something Lu Chen came up with. He learned it from Liu Fei Fei and Long Shen.
At critical anger and fury, you drive them to despair, causing his psyche to be destroyed.
"Damn." Han Meng blurted. No wonder Liao Yan was so broken when he heard that.
Lu Chen added, "We should go back. I need to tell Elder Zi to clean him up."
