While Lai Liqin and Silverlight concentrated on damage control, Lu Chen focused on something else. He was at the front gates of Kong Qingzhu's University.
It didn't take long before Kong Qingzhu arrived,
"Hello! Sorry for the wait."
"It's fine. I arrived here a little early." Lu Chen smiled, "Let's go somewhere else where we can talk privately."
"Alright. I know of a place where we can have a conversation." Kong Qingzhu led the way. As the two walked, Kong Qingzhu asked,
"Umm, how is Zhang Jian?" Kong Qingzhu asked. She saw the pictures and videos that were taken.
"Oh, you don't have to worry about it, He got a light scratch on his head, but it'll be gone in a few days." Lu Chen explained.
"That's good." Kong Qingzhu sighed in relief. Lu Chen was the next to speak,
"There's something I've been meaning to say to you, Kong Qingzhu."
"Hmm?"
"It's about the situation before. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to put you in that awkward situation." Lu Chen knew Kong Qingzhu was the one in the most awkward position.
He ran out of there without looking back. To everyone around, Kong Qingzhu looked like the cheating party.
Kong Qingzhu shook her head, "It's fine! I should be the one apologizing! If I wasn't there, that situation wouldn't have happened."
"No, it was my fault." Lu Chen and Kong Qingzhu went into an apology battle. Seeing how the conversation wasn't going anywhere, Kong Qingzhu asked,
"Umm, did you resolve the misunderstanding?" That was the biggest question. Lu Chen's wry expression said it all.
"I'm sorry for asking." "It's fine. I'll talk to her about it." Lu Chen could only hope he encountered Feng Meifeng here.
"You'll be-" Before she could assure Lu Chen's words, Kong Qingzhu's eyes widened.
"Hmm? What's wrong?" Lu Chen tilted his head, wondering what had happened. He was going to turn his head to see what she saw, but,
"Don't look!" Kong Qingzhu quickly grabbed Lu Chen's head and tilted it back to her!
But Lu Chen turned his head back to see what it was. And his eyes turned wide when he did.
The two saw Feng Meifeng. But she wasn't alone. There was a guy with her as well.
Lu Chen stood there in shock! Because looking at the scene right now, the two were close, very close.
And they were about to get even closer.
"Meifeng! I love you so much!" The guy shouted out loud as he hugged her!
Lu Chen had no words to say.
