Chapter 652: Let’s Play
"We've made so much money!" One of the guys said as he threw the cash up. Their gambling den had made so much money. And what made it better was,
"Please! I need more money!"
"I don't mind. We can give you a loan." One of the workers said as he handed a contract over to this person. And he didn't hesitate and signed his name!
"How much do you wish to take?" The boss, Wen Peng, said with a vicious smile.
"One hundred thousand!" The man didn't hesitate to throw out a large number. Wen Peng smiled,
"Alright." He handed him a card, "Your money is in here." And the man took it without hesitation as he walked out of the room!
"Boss Wen, did he even look at the contract?" One of his subordinates said as he watched the man. His eyes were bloodshot.
"Of course not." Wen Peng said calmly. This always happened. People would come and ask for money even when they had nothing to offer.
And they were cashing in on this.
"Oh yeah, what happened to the girl? Shouldn't she be paying right now?"
"She will. Don't worry about it." Wen Peng said with a cold look. Naturally, he knew his subordinate was talking about Kong Qingzhu.
"Got to admit, she is quite the looker." Thinking about it now, the guy had a lustful grin as he imagined Kong Qingzhu.
"How about we sell her off to a brothel? She would make a pretty penny, boss?" With her looks and beauty, many people would pay for her.
"No." Wen Peng shook his head, "We'll keep her as a cash cow. As long as her mother is still in this den, there is no way she can escape us." Kong Qingzhu's mother was still gambling in their den.
"As long as she is here, that girl is ours." Wen Peng said. But contrary to what he thought,
"Boss, someone came to see you." A voice came from his phone.
"Who came to see me?" Wen Peng asked.
"It's the girl, and she brought two people too." The security guard explained.
Wen Peng frowned, "Who did they bring?"
"A guy and an old man." "Huh?"

"This place reeks." Lu Chen frowned. He didn't think there was a place that could smell like smoke and stench.
"Young master, please wear this." Elder Wu had face masks prepared. And Lu Chen took one.
"Please wear this too." Elder Wu handed one to Kong Qingzhu as well.
"Thank you."
"Much better." Lu Chen said.
"Do you know when he's going to come?" Lu Chen asked. Kong Qingzhu asked one of the workers here to call for the boss.
"I don't know." Kong Qingzhu said hesitantly. This was the first time she asked for the boss too. Even she didn't know what would happen next.
The worker came back,
"The boss doesn't want to meet you. He said to hand over the money and leave." There was smugness as he said this.
"Wha-" "Alright." Lu Chen looked at Kong Qingzhu and smiled. The three walked away from the workers,
"It seems like they're trying to mess with us." Lu Chen smiled. It was so obvious.
"What do we do?" Kong Qingzhu asked,
"Simple. Let's play some games." Lu Chen smiled and looked up at Elder Wu,
"I'm on it, young master. I'll split up with you. Please take this." Elder Wu handed one suitcase to him.
"Alright." Lu Chen looked at Kong Qingzhu, "Follow me." Kong Qingzhu nodded. Lu Chen searched around and found a table with an empty seat.
"I want to play." Lu Chen said calmly.
"How much money are you wagering?"
"20 million." Lu Chen opened the suitcase, and it was full of cash!
