Chapter 661: Haggard
A few hours prior, Feng Meifeng was in her dormitory. Qin Shan shouted at her, "Meifeng! You need to get out of your bed!"
"Leave me alone!" Feng Meifeng pulled up the blanket to cover her face.
"Come on! Don't you want to get something to eat?! It's my treat today!" Qin Shan said as she tried to pull the blanket off Feng Meifeng's head. But Feng Meifeng wasn't budging.
"I don't want to go."
"Not this again." Qin Shan rolled her eyes.
"You need to move, Meifeng! You can't be a couch potato!" Qin Shan roared out. Feng Meifeng has been like that for the last few days!
"I don't wanna. And besides, why do I need to go with you? You'll be with Qingsheng! Leave a single dog like me out of this." Feng Meifeng knew Qin Shan's boyfriend, Mao Qingsheng, would be there too.
She didn't want to be a third wheel in her friend's lovey-dovey time.
"It's because you've been acting like this for too long!" She understood why she was acting like this too. It was the incident with Lu Chen that caused her friend to be like this.
And that was why she needed to get up. She can't be focused on Lu Chen for so long! Qin Shan threw off her blanket,
"..." No words came out of her mouth. Feng Meifeng's expression was haggard. It was as if she had aged a couple of years. The black bags under her eyes were apparent, showing that she hadn't slept for a few days.
"I need to clean you up." Qin Shan quickly picked Feng Meifeng up and pushed her into the bathroom.
"Do I really have to go out?" Feng Meifeng asked as she stared at Qin Shan. She looked a bit better after Qin Shan cleaned her up. But Feng Meifeng wore a hoodie. She gave off a dark aura, telling everyone not to mess with her. But then Feng Meifeng realized,
"Don't tell me you're trying to hook me up with another one."
"!" Qin Shan looked away. And that gave her an answer.
"I'm going back." Feng Meifeng turned, ready to go back to her room. But Qin Shan grabbed her hand,
"C'mon, you can't keep thinking over him. The best way to get past all of this is to date someone else."
"Do you think I did it because I wanted to? Qingsheng basically begged me to do it last time." Mao Qingsheng kept begging her to go meet with this guy. And she did because they were close friends.
"But what's wrong with him? I thought he was a good guy." Qin Shan saw the guy. He has good looks and has a job.
"He's not my type."
"..." I don't think anyone is your type. When comparing the guys to Lu Chen, she might be right. They were all inferior to Lu Chen. But where could they find a guy like that?
Lu Chen was ingrained into her mind. Qin Shan grabbed Feng Meifeng's shoulders,
"How about this? We're only going there for a cup of tea. I'll buy you your favorite drink, and you can leave after that."
"...Fine." Feng Meifeng sighed as the two walked to the cafe. Mao Qingsheng waved his hand,
"Shan Shan!" Beside him was another guy.
"Hi-" "I'm getting on line." Feng Meifeng ignored the guy's greeting and walked over to the line. Mao Qingsheng gave Qin Shan a look. The latter shook her head.
As Feng Meifeng was getting her drink,
"Junior Feng."
