Chapter 681: New Recruit Coming Tomorrow
She wasn't worried at all compared to Kang Shuchun. She understood how Lu Chen would react to this. With how much trouble she caused, there was no way he would see Feng Meifeng to be a friend. Blocking Feng Meifeng's message, those emotions would fester too.
Ye Meixiu wasn't a saint. She didn't care what she had to do. She had to take down a fierce competitor. Compared to everybody, the one who was close to Lu Chen was Feng Meifeng. Unlike her and Kang Shuchun, this girl brought an unknown factor.

"..." Lu Chen and Kang Shuchun sat in the back while Elder Wu sat in the front, driving the car. There was an eerie silence. That was because of what happened between Lu Chen and Feng Meifeng.
After Lu Chen left Feng Meifeng there, Lu Chen was a little off. Most wouldn't notice the change. But not to close people like Zhang Jian, Kang Shuchun, Ye Meixiu, and Elder Wu.
"Young Master, come here." "Hmm?" Lu Chen turned his head, and what he got in his face was Kang Shuchun's bosom. She hugged his head. His entire face was wrapped in her warmth. He would have been embarrassed, but he gazed up. His eyes were asking what she was doing.
"Just wanted to give the young master a hug. You seemed tired." Kang Shuchun smiled as she snuggled his head into her body more.
"..." Lu Chen was silent. He wasn't going to say no to a hug. Kang Shuchun started to stroke his head too. It was very soothing. Out of instinct, Lu Chen wrapped his hand around Kang Shuchun's waist.
"Shuchun, I'm going to take a nap."
"Go ahead, Young Master." Kang Shuchun kissed his forehead, "You don't need to worry about anything. I will watch over you the whole time." She continued to stroke his head. Lu Chen's eyes slowly closed as he went to sleep.
Young master is so cute. There was no need to hide her expression now. Kang Shuchun's eyes turned into hearts as she stared at Lu Chen's sleeping face. Looking at him now was enough to cause her heart to explode.
"!" Kang Shuchun looked up to see Elder Wu staring at her through the mirror.
Are you trying to wake the young master up?! Elder Wu showed some bloodlust, causing her to look up.
He won't wake up. And besides, you're taking advantage of the young master too much. Elder Wu was silent. But that didn't mean he wasn't watching him.
Please, Master. Young Master and I have done so much more than this. Taking advantage was out the window. The two did a lot of things.
And are you going to get in the way of our relationship?
Of course not. If the young master wishes to be with you, I will fully support it. But don't do anything that would hurt him.

"Oh yeah, Shuchun." Lu Chen suddenly woke up, and Kang Shuchun quickly smiled,
"What do you need, Young master?"
"There's going to be a new recruit coming tomorrow." Lu Chen almost forgot to mention this.
"Hmm? Is it a boy or a girl?" Kang Shuchun questioned.
"It's a girl."
"...I see."
"I'm going to tell everyone else tomorrow. But I wanted to tell you now." After saying this, Lu CHen went back to sleep.
And the expression on Kang Shuchun's face changed. Why does it have to be a girl?!
