Chapter 704: I Did Nothing
Lu Chen grabbed his head. No, it was my fault. He should have realized people would take photos of them. Bai Xiaoqing and his face were famous before that. He should have been more aware. Like right now. Lu Chen turned his head to see that his family was behind him. The grins on their faces were irritating.
Lu Chen felt something oh so wrong.
"Xiao Chen, what's your relationship with Bai Xiaoqing?" Zhang Wenling was the first one to question.
"Nothing. We're acquaintances at best." Lu Chen answered honestly. He met Bai Xiaoqing a couple of times. Wait, it might be even worse. Thinking about what happened with Liao Yan, their relationship would be worse.
"Really? That doesn't look like it, little brother." Lu Hao shook his head, "It looks like you're having fun on your date." He pointed at the photo. It was a good photo. Lu Chen didn't smile, but it was gentle as he talked with Bai Xiaoqing.
Anyone could tell there was a good feeling from this photo.
Who took this goddamn picture?! Lu Chen was so close to snapping his phone...well, Lu Hao's phone in half.
"Tsk Tsk. Xiao Chen, you were so adamant about not going. But it was fun, wasn't it?" Lu Xiaotong shrugged as he asked.
"I did nothing." Lu Chen denied it.
But the rest of his family thought something different. They shook their heads.
"Come on! I did nothing!" Lu Chen screamed as he shook his head! Why is this happening to me!

While Lu Chen was being questioned by his family, Kang Shuchun and Ye Meixiu were discussing again.
"How in the world did this happen?!" Unlike the last time, Kang Shuchun broke down. There was no way she had expected something like this to occur. And she wasn't the only one who was crying.
"This is all your fault! You should have gone with him!" Ye Meixiu screamed out from the other side. The bad thing the two thought, actually happened.
"How is this my fault?! You're the stalker! You should have followed the young master!" Kang Shuchun wasn't as free as Ye Meixiu.
It's only because the young master told me to stay here. She couldn't focus on Lu Chen. He was relying on her to make the project a success.
And that girl's movements are swift. Kang Shuchun clenched her fist tightly. She did not think Bai Xiaoqing would jump in and ask Lu Chen out like that.
"How can that girl be so crazy?!" Ye Meixiu shouted out in anger. She wanted to shoot herself for letting this happen.
"We have to do something about her."
"Then you do it. I'm not dealing with this. I have something else I need to deal with." Kang Shuchun sighed as she closed the call.
