Originally, there are only a total of 15 known [Creations] in this world. Every time they appear, it would immediately noticed by the government side. So far, only Shinji had evaded their detection... until now.

'No. If they came from her numerous abilities, it's completely explainable.'

As a creation not chained down by her own story, Altair has thousands, if not millions, of unique abilities. Time control, cloning ability, nullifying an ability... it's as if the entire world focused their talents on thinking of the most overpowered talents that will be bestowed upon her.

That's the existence of the anomaly of this world.

'But still, summoning the antagonists of their stories to spice things up?' Shiro mused. 'Oh well, this could go wrong even more anyways. There's no use worrying about a 'minor' revision to the plans.'

*****

"Kanoya-kun..."

"Yeah. You can leave these two to me."

Helplessly, Selesia dealt with her troublesome comrade who came to this world. He believed that he could achieve their world's salvation by following Altair who aims for her "salvation" too, which is why he became as stubborn as a mithril.

"Selesia. You know this too well. This world can save ours."

"Yes, you're right. But, it's not that simple!"

"That possibility exists, nevertheless. It's our job to save that world from further misery. Don't you recall? The charred corpses, the orphaned children... Many lives had been lost because of the Avalon Brigade. Why are you fighting against me..?"

Hearing his words, her will slightly faltered. Granted, the world that she was in did not have much information written into it, but the words "many died" was converted into a horrifying sight. These mere words were turned into the despair and resolve of the two main characters, Selesia and Charon.

"You don't know everything."

Bam-!

Crack-!

While they are conversing, their fight didn't stop. Long and short-range attacks were exchanged by the two of them. Since they did not leave behind any gaps in their defenses, they are stuck in a slight stalemate. They could perfectly grasp the intentions behind each attack and countered them strategically.

Meanwhile, Kanoya is having the time of his life. Of course, it is on the bad side.

Bam-!

Bzzt-!

Zap-!

A trail of electricity followed behind his back, which he promptly avoided. By doing so, however, he faced the "Kanoya (Enemy)" barrage from the other side. He blocked them with his Reflector Field as he wondered about that mecha's specifications. Finding something that could rival Gigas Machina is already a tough job as it is an advanced 'Divine Machine' that could be piloted through body movements. It removed the need of ten-year training and instead focused more on its ease of use, flexibility, and adaptability due to its ability to mimic human-like movements.

Kanoya could feel that the same went for that mecha. It could move swiftly to the point that he could not follow it and all of it is just as flexible as his. Add to that the "red form" that it has, and every single component of it was enhanced.

"But... What is this?"

Every time their attacks hit, he gets connected to 'something'. It allows him to briefly see the expression of "Kanoya" which is full of annoyance and determination to fight for his cause. He does not know how he came to that point, but...

"You are delusional, idiot."

"..?!" Kanoya felt his emotions being transferred after their fists clashed. "How dare you say that..! We, who can't even secure a complete victory against Ione, are useless! It's you who are being delusional here. Maybe the fact that only YOU could pilot that mech got too much into your head."

Silence.

Kanoya does not deny those words completely. He indeed has that "proud" standpoint that only he could save the world, but he also properly carries that responsibility. He is someone whom he believes could not get delusional easily. Yet, there exists a version of him who is like this.

"You do not understand everything. If you are in my position, you would have chosen this."

"...Huh? Wait a moment..."

Suddenly, he recalled one of the plot points that he came to learn from his creator, Nakanogane.

"A turning point for your story? Well... there is something like that."

"Ooh?"

Nakanogane smiled wryly before revealing it to him.

"Before the planned final arc, you would be sent to an alternate future due to an accident. Ione's technology malfunctioned and acted favorably to you, so you were sent into the future. A ruined future, to be exact."

"Ruined future? How come? Can't I defeat the final boss and live in peace?"

"No. The final boss can self-destruct on his own. Of course, I called it "self-destruct" but it's more or less a virtual attack that spanned an entire planet."

Upon seeing Kanoya's strength and the continuously defeated forces, Ione's highest-ranking person became determined to launch his last-ditch attack given Kanoya defeats him. When the destined time came, he was defeated. Everything was fine until something shocking happened.

A strong wavelength passed through the entire world. Whenever it did, it only caused one thing: Disabling every technology available. His comrades residing in the flying carrier that served as their airbase were crushed to death after it crashed. Millions of people died as everything became too chaotic.

In the end, only he and two of his friends lived. Everyone else died.

This sudden shift in tone is meant to raise the tension in the anime. Many details would also be avoided to remain kid-friendly such as deaths and how civilization was destroyed. Everything is compressed into words "the world came to ruin". Hence, Kanoya's time travel would allow him to see the ruined world and have a strong motivation to prevent it. This would eventually lead to his victory, ensuring peace in his world.

After hearing this, Kanoya was extremely happy. Knowing the fact that he succeeded as the "hero" of his world, it is nothing short of a grand accomplishment.

"You... Are you from 'that world'? The ruined world where the wide-scale jammer was used?"

"It seems that you know more than I have thought."

Bam-!

Clang-!

"..."

Contrary to their lively conversation, everyone watching this scene became dead silent.

"Ah."

"Ah..?"

"What???"

"""WHATTT???"""

This is simply a spoiler that came out of nowhere. Kanoya of the ruined world? What does it signify? What does it mean? If he exists, then is Monomagia headed to a bad end? Or will it use this plot device to succeed in the end?

Many thoughts flashed through the minds of Monomagia fans. Just this little tidbit of information sent all of them doubts; unanswered doubts that they would be itching to answer.

"I know how it feels." Shiro patted Nakanogane's shoulder. "I accidentally told my friend a fatal spoiler once."

"...What happened to him?"

"He used some extreme means to forget about it. Like, you know..."

Somehow, he understood Shiro's words as scary ones. he thought that his friend had deliberately banged his head so hard that he had amnesia.

"Your friend is pitiful."

"Indeed." Shiro replied. 'He's happily living in his delusions, though.'

"Achoo!"

For some reasons, Romani felt a chill in his spine that prompted him to sneeze.

"I wonder who remembered me?"
