Yuuya. Kanoya. Selesia.

The creations are currently fighting their battles. Each of them is very preoccupied with it that they could not intervene in others' fights. That includes the monsters that the magical girl group is currently facing.

Boom-!

Rumble-!

Cartoonish attacks intertwined with extremely realistic ones are rained upon the two girls. They responded with their counterattack, barely maintaining everything into a stalemate.

Swathes of black fog enveloped a great portion of Ginza. If not for the birdcage having an infinite amount of space, an entire city would've been buried alive from Akumarin's and Walpurgisnacht's attacks. The former is responsible for letting out 'curses' born from the dark emotions of humanity while the latter utilizes its reality-bending power to create its regular attack pattern.

Sou-! Sou-!

Pink arrows of light hailed down on the evil fairy. It was Madoka who attacked her as they have considered checking their weaknesses.

"Magical Splash Flare!"

Using more than half of its capability, a compressed pink sphere turned into a heart before descending into the disaster witch.

Boom-!

The attack had visibly destroyed a portion of Walpurgisnacht's shield, eliciting a scream from it.

"Haha! Haha! Haha!"

"Magical attack still works... This is good." Madoka murmured. "I can do this..!"

She recalled how the battle ended in her world. Shiro's [Final Blazer] thoroughly obliterated all of their enemies that numbered beyond trillions. Walpurgisnacht was also included in that attack, effectively killing it. From her analysis, it is something that worked on the concept itself rather than the current state of the target.

Confirming that it is the same as the previous one, Madoka decided to enact her current plan.

"Mamika-chan, can you keep her busy for a while?"

"Ah? Yes!"

Hearing that, she didn't hesitate any longer.

"I... will save this world."

In an instant, the entire world is dyed pink.

When making the revisions, Shiro chose the most suitable one for Madoka—that is, a way to possess the strongest power that she could. Before splitting her into two, Madoka attained the ranks of a  Beyond-creator class. It is the same rank that Shiro was in, one that enabled him to manipulate reality however he wants.

In Madoka's case, he granted her the ability to enter a 'Madokami' state. By traversing back through time and causality, she would be given access to that power. Its output depends on what the current her could handle, but it is more than enough to deal with Walpurgisnacht.

"She used it. Walpurgisnacht... I did imagine her summoning it. Still, this might throw everything off-balance."

Shiro went through their plans all over again. The most optimal one didn't have any obstacles like Walpurgisnacht or Akumarin, both of whom are the final bosses in their worlds.

Shiro: "It's a bit earlier, but we'll start intercepting now. I'll send out my clone first. Shinji-kun and Touka are on standby for now."

Shinji: "(Thumbs up)!!!"

Touka: "So we watch."

Shiro: "Sorry. We are the ones hidden to go against Altair in a surprise attack, but it seems that they couldn't handle it longer."

Seeing the fights, he deduced that deaths would begin appearing. Alicetaria, who agreed to cooperate with them, and Selesia are the "lightning strike" of this group. Alicetaria would hit her with a conceptual attack boosted with Kanoya's revision, [Concept Augmentation]. Meanwhile, Selesia would imprison Altair in a "never-ending prison". If one of these two attacks works, the audience will agree about her "defeat", concluding the fight to save the world.

'Gundam will soon be taking off.'

*****

Bam-!

Bzzzt-!

Boom-!

Looking at her energy gauge, Kanoya knew that it is impossible to maintain his [Reflector Field] any longer. He landed some solid hits to Unicorn and saw that it is becoming more exhausting, but the same went for him too.

"He's too agile..!"

In the meantime, Kanoya's attacks mainly consisted of shockwave blasts from Gigas Machina's fists as well as a concentrated beam attack. It is different from the versatile weaponry that Unicorn has—each of them having a considerable attack power. Not only that, Unicorn's smaller build allowed him to outmaneuver Gigas Machina which is nearly three times its size.

(A/N: Unicorn is around 18~20m while Gigas Machina is at 58.8~59.8m.)

However, what affected this fight the most are their combat experiences. Kanoya experienced everything up until his 3rd season while the future Kanoya came from the end. No matter how one looks at it, the post-apocalyptic Kanoya outweighs him.

'I need to hold him here until alicetaria-san makes her move on Altair..!'

Right now, Altair is nowhere to be seen. They expected her appearance after the enemies appeared one by one, but she didn't. This simple move of hers broke their plans, forcing them to maintain their stalemates. Meteora could provide enhancements through the power of acceptance—the belief of every single audience that they would "win"—but it will make the narrative more forced, affecting the overall state of their mission.

Suddenly, a blinding pink light encased the skies. It blinded everyone, forcing them to pause for a moment. That light contains a power that could somehow make them at peace, which is the same as what the Law of Cycles originally does to the Magical Girls that were about to turn into Witches.

"Kano—"

Buzz-!

Buzz-!

Static sounds were all that he could hear from his earpiece. Fortunately, Meteora's emergency line through her 'magic console' was activated.

"Kanoya-kun. I will enhance you. Alicetaria's moment is about to come."

"Alright..." He replied. "But that light... is it from Kaname-san?"

"It is. She was forced to enter her final form in advance due to new enemies. If you can, try and send out support through your augmentation."

"Got it."

Buzz-!

Just as Meteora's magic was cut off, the static sounds ended. The pink light that was caught by the cameras died down, revealing the "nostalgic" sight that most, if not all, viewers who watched Madoka Magica know. To save the world, Madoka has taken upon this form. This sacrifice of hers led to the salvation of Magical Girls who suffered deeply in their lives as Witch. It is the same Madoka that made her apologies to Homura who has been traversing through time with each of her deaths. The Law of Cycles—

"H-huh? I feel kind of different?"

—Madokami.

*****

Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

At the first glance, you would think that it is a children's show that has the same demographic as any magical girl anime out there. Well, everyone was dead wrong after the third episode—Mami's head got detached as it was chewed on by a Witch. It then everybody felt something different from it. As the episodes went on, the viewer count increased. Even if it aired at 9:00 PM, everyone arranged their time to do so. In the first place, it is one of the few anime with such a timeslot, hence attracting the curiosity of unsuspecting viewers.

(A/N: In Japan, kid's anime are usually aired in the morning from 7:00~9:00 AM while the teenager's at 7:00~8:00PM.)

When it reached the end, they are simply dumbfounded. most expected that Madoka could easily handle every single problem in this show if she turned into a Magical Girl. They were even happy when she did. But, when it was revealed that she would lose her existence by turning into one, only regrets followed. The viewers who saw the struggles of the characters made them deeply empathize with the anime.

"This... It's different from what I've expected." Matsubara, the creator of Selesia, commented.

Nakanogane had simply agreed with an "It has a special meaning for them."

Everyone then proceeded to look at Shiro who has a solemn expression. They left him be as they knew that this was a memorable event for him... in a bad way.

'It's time.'

Unbeknownst to them, his seriousness signifies a whole other reason.
