The next day, Nirra came back to pick up her order. When she arrived in the morning, the store owner was just finishing up her order. He placed the six glass circles inside a special box that had cushions to prevent them from breaking while in transit. As he closed the box, he noticed Nirra, who stood in front of him.

"Ah, you're here." He placed the box in Nirra's hands. "Thank you for your patience; it has been completed without any issue, and I do hope you find it satisfactory to your needs." He bowed before he went back to his post behind the counter.

"Thank you; I'll come back if I ever need anything else relating to glass working," Nirra said as the man nodded in her direction before she turned her body to face towards the door and made her exit.

Back at her Smithy, Nirra placed the box on the table and opened it to inspect the glass pieces, with Mofu starting the furnace and forge's fires all on his own.

A knock suddenly came across the room as it opened to reveal Ameria, who had popped by to check what Nirra was up to.

"Nirra, I was just looking for you. I assumed that you would have spent your day in here," she said before she entered.

Nirra closed the box before she turned her body to Ameria. "So, what brings you to my little smithy?"

"Ah, a friend of mine wanted you to go to the main guild building later." Nirra heard Ameria heave a heavy sigh.

"What is it about?" She asked curiously.

"Well, he told me not to tell you, so just look for me if you are ready to go."

"Alright, I'll see you in an hour or two. Just finishing up on my newly crafted weapon for now," Nirra said. Ameria nodded in acknowledgement and promptly left afterwards to tend to other things, like the plants Nirra saw her tend to earlier.

She brought her focus back to the box in front of her and once again opened it. To find six glass pieces that varied in size and thickness.

"These are very good quality," she said as she visually inspected the pieces one by one. She had to be careful that no dust or debris should get on the glass for it to work properly.

"Time to begin." She then grabbed a piece of clay and started molding it into the shape of the frame of a scope. She also molded two other pieces, which were the knobs as well as the special clamps to attach them to her bolt-action rifle.

She split the main mold of the frame into two parts and used the furnace's heat to harden the molds for her to use later. As she waited, she gave thanks to Mofu's help, showering him in headpats, much to the small fox's delight.

After the molds had hardened, she took them away from the furnace's fire before she loaded a steel ingot in the crucible. She placed the crucible inside the furnace and started the main process by placing the molds into a frame before completely covering it in sand. She turned the wooden frame over and removed the molds, which revealed cavities where she could pour the molten metal.

After it was done, she grabbed the tongs, took the crucible out of the furnace, and poured it into the cavity, which she left for a couple of minutes to harden. Once it was hard, she scraped off the sand that stuck to the metal and cooled it with water so she could hold it by hand. Next, she used the drill to slowly carve out the interior of the scope, along with drilling the holes through which the knobs will be attached and the notches through which the glass will be mounted. After it was done, she sanded it down to give it a more finished look and grabbed two long strips of metal with teeth that aligned the gears on the knob. With the left-over clay, she positioned the glass in place with the clay holding it down so it wouldn't crack and painted a small crosshair on one of the lenses in front of the main zooming lenses, along with carefully measured notches on it to account for range. She carefully attached the end of the metal strip to the glass so it would control her zoom. And the second one is to move the whole thing horizontally to account for the wind. Once done, she welded the two parts of the scope together, along with welding them to the two clamps that make it possible to attach it to her rifle.

Before she checked the final fitting, she looked through the scope first to see if anything was wrong. She exhaled in satisfaction as she witnessed that the zoom function worked and that the image was clear without any obstructions inside the scope itself.

She then grabbed her rifle from her shadow storage space and checked the fitting of the clamp and noticed it was a bit loose, but it held the hole scope securely. With a small turn of the knobs on the clamps, that was soon mitigated, and it was a perfect fit. She then checked if the scope obstructed the ejection of a casing by loading a wooden mock-up of a cartridge into her weapon, and when she pulled back on the bolt, the wooden cartridge flew out the side and did not impact the scope in the slightest. Now that it was complete, she had to attend to what Ameria had told her earlier. She extinguished the fires in her furnace and forge and went to clean up the mess she had made. Small shavings of steel and sand were everywhere thanks to her crafting a scope for her needs. After the clean-up, she and Mofu exited the room before locking the door behind them for good measure.

For those to had a hard time visualizing what she was making.

Also, we've finally reached chapter 100!! Thank you all for the support and the patience on what has happened over the past few months!! To date, this is my longest story so far and I thank you all for giving me motivation to continue writing it after all that has happened with my mother. At one point I was considering accepting the offer from webnovel.net to transfer this story to that site and earn some money for my mom's recovery, but that's not the why I wanted to write in the first place. I wanted to write so people could enjoy my unique spin on Isekai. I don't want the money, what I wanted was to make a story that everyone can enjoy. Not completely hide it behind a paywall. I even considered starting a patreon, but that would make me loose interest on my work. So, from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you!! For reading this story and the future chapters to come!!
