The twins rushed inside to get armed. Nirra grabbed her musket and flintlock that were on the table. She also wore the bandolier that carried gunpowder vials and attached the bag full of lead balls for her weapons to her waist.

Nirra rushed back outside just as Ellie came up behind her. She had her trusty red and black-tinted sword with her, along with the sword breaker she always carries. The twins then rushed to the adventure guild, they dodged multiple people that were panicking to either get out of twon before the horde arrives or hunker down and barricade their homes. The two met Edwina along the way, who was already wearing her little utility belt full of potions.

Once they arrived at the front of the guild, they noticed a large group of adventurers that were huddled up in front of the guild. They could also see an elevated platform to which an old but muscular man can be seen. He was shirtless but had two giant axes behind his back. He also wore what looked like ripepd pants along with brown boots. He also wore wristbands that had small spikes on them.

"Listen up! All of you!" He shouted in a commanding tone.

"The monster horde could be here in the next 30 minutes! I want every available adventurer to be able to defend this town, at least until reinforcements from Aeris come to assist! Forwards scouts said that the horde consistes of Orcs, Goblins, and Wyverns. For now, archers! Stand on the wall to shoot down the Wyverns, some will provide cover on the ground. Assasins! Take any stragglers that try to escape! Swordsmen! Take the frontline along with the Berserkers! Mages will stand behind the swordsmen to provite support! Healers and Alchemists will be behind the Archers on the ground! Any questions!?" He yelled out and explained.

One raised her hand; she looked like a typical healer with the white cloak that had golden trims.

"Where are they going to be coming from?" She asked.

"From the east side of the city! If you all don't have any more questions, you can start moving now!" He shouted.

Everyone, including the twins and Edwina, marched towards the eastern entrance to the town. Nirra opted to be on the ground along with the other archers that were to provide support to the mages swordsmen and berserkers up infront.

Nirra took her position to protect Edwina, she also has a clear line of sight into the soon-to-be killzone. She also had a short enough distance to provide Ellie with any kind of support if needed. This was bad timing tho, this kind of battle requires a weapon that can be reloaded quickly, or have multiple shots loaded. For now she has to rely on the frontliners to protect her while she was reloading.

"Tsk, you shouldn't be out here, girl." A person said beside her

"Excuse me?" Nirra replied, turning to face an elf. Nirra knew because of the pointed ears. The female elf had short blond hair; her bangs covered her left eye, and she wore traditional archery clothes: a white shirt with a quiver behind her as well as a green cape that had a hood.

"You heard me, you don't even have a bow or quiver. Are you even an archer?" She said with audible disgust in her voice. "You should've stayed inside the walls along with that strange tube thing you have." She added.

Their conversation was cut short by the. Thundering sound of hundreads of footsteps approaching their position. The swordsmen, berserkers and mages are ready. Archers pulled back their bow with an arrow loaded along with that elf girl while still staring down at Nirra.

The berserkers charged in first, and with their broad swords and humongous strength, they easily ripped the first wave of goblins to shreds. But then the orcs came which halted the berserker's slaughter because of their thick skin. The swordsmen and mages now come in as support and they helped each other by outmanuvering or casting magic to bypass the thick skin armor that orcs posses. The archers on the wall started raining down arrows to weaken incoming waves by dulling their numbers down to be less of a burden at the front.

Nirra knew she still had some range over the archer, so she took aim with her musket at the target, the head of an orc. She estimated the range was about 90 to 100 meters and compinsated notching her gun a bit to the left to account for the inaccuracy of her unrifled firearm. When she pressed the trigger. Sparks flew into the waiting gunpowder on the flashpan as smoke billowed out of the flintlock mechanism, almost covering Nirra in a thick reddened smoke. The lead ball that came out of it outmatched the speed of the arrows that were being flown around. The ball hit the orc straight in the eye as the elf that belittled her from earlier looked in shock.

'what....was that? Did she kill that giant thing with one shot? That can't be possible....' She thought while she stared at the corpse of the dead orc for a few seconds before she turned back to see Nirra. The girl looked like she was a mage with the smoke clearing out, but they all knew she was fighting under the archer class. She stared at Nirra wide eyed and suprised as the latter grabbed a vial from her bandolier and poured its contents into her strange and dangerous weapon.

"You're right, I'm not an archer." She said as she loaded another lead ball into the barrel while she stared at the elf girl.

"I'm a ranger," Nirra, with a complacent smile plastered on her face, used the ramrod on her musket. After it was done, she fired off another shot that was aimed at the goblin that was about to attack her sister.
