Another day has arrived, and Nirra woke up to the smell of fresh bread and cheese. She noticed that her sister had already woken up and left the room. It was understandable since she had spent all night working to get the barrel she forged straight and without any rough surfaces. So, scratching her eyes while yawning, she stepped out of the bed and walked towards the bathroom.

Inside, she took a good look at her facial features: red eyes with black, messy hair and a cute face befitting a 7-year-old. She had to wonder though—since she is 7, does she have to deal with "that" soon? She shook her head and went to take a shower. after which she grabbed the towel and covered up her naked body. She was still blushing a little bit, though, and mentally facepalmed.

'7 years in this body and I still can't get used to seeing myself naked,' she shook those thoughts again and went outside the bathroom.

From there, she paced towards the cabinet to pick out the clothes she would be wearing today. She decided to pick a black shirt with shorts; it's not an especially stylish choice. It was because it could get really hot while the furnace was running inside the forge.

Stepping out of her and her sister's room and going downstairs, she found herself in the kitchen and noticed that her mother and sister were also with her; her sister was eating the food while her mother was busy cooking.

"Oh! Nirra is awake!" Her sister said so while stuffing her mouth full of food.

"Slow down, little one; you might choke on your food," Mirabel reminded her daughter. "Have a seat, dear; your father went ahead and opened up shop." She continued motioning for her to sit down and eat.

Nirra nodded with a smile and sat down adjacent to where her sister was eating. She noticed her breakfast consisted of eggs, bread, and cheese. A normal breakfast for this world

"Nirra, did you make some cool weapons for customers yesterday?" Her sister, Ellie, said

"Not much; dad is busy with the forging; my job is just to sharpen swords and such," Nirra replied. "Then again, dad has been teaching me some smithing techniques to make weapons, so maybe sometime soon I can start making swords for our customers." She added them and thought about the other parts she needed to complete the gun she was building.

"Speaking of your father, he's waiting for you inside the shop, sweetie, so go ahead and don't keep him waiting," her mother reminded her.

Nirra nodded with a smile and went on to finish her breakfast in record time. After which she got up and started walking towards where the forge was located.

Walking into said forge, she could hear metal striking metal and took a good look at the place while nobody was using their services for the time being.

The shop is big, but the things inside it made it look quite cramped. To her right were metal storage containers where they keep various types of metals, such as iron, steel, zinc, tin, brass, and copper, in their ingot forms. To the left is the furnace, where they melt down the ingots and cast them into different shapes according to the requirements of the customer. A second, smaller furnace can be seen beside it; currently turned on, it's used to heat up the ingots so that they can be malleable and easy to bend using an anvil and a hammer. Beside the storages where they keep the ingots is the quenching station, where they dip different types of swords, specifically steel and iron swords, into oil or water so they can be stronger. Next to that is the grinder wheel, where dull swords can be sharpened using a rotating wheel. In the center are two anvils, one of which is being used by her dad as he hammers away at a heated piece of steel. North of all of that is the counter where customers can order and buy swords or other tools that are forged by her father. Behind the counter is, of course, an assortment of different kinds of swords, from shortswords to longswords to rapiers to daggers, and, of course, different tools that are required for specific tasks, such as shovels, hoes, axes, and pickaxes. Near the doorway to the entrance of the forge is the cabinet and crafting bench where she was seen last night making a gun barrel.

Her father stopped hammering the ingot for a second and took a look at his daughter.

"Good morning, Nirra!" He greeted her, saying, "We need to get ready for the morning rush; tons of adventurers and guards would want their weapons sharpened and ready for anything." He motioned for her to man the counter and grind wheel.

Nirra sighed and nodded. She put on her apron and stepped infront of the counter and unlocked the door. Turning a sign that says "open," she then stepped back behind the counter to open the shop for today.
