After the twins said their goodbyes to Edwina and Mari, they arrived home to see that their parents were waiting for them.

"See Mirabel? I told you they were fine." He turned to his wife, and the latter rushed forward to check every square inch of their children.

"Ouch! Mom! Stop, we're okay!" Ellie said as she kept her eyes on Mirabel.

"Yeah, mom, we're okay." Nirra added. Mirabel breathed a sigh of relief after she checked on her daughters.

"It does seem you two are alright," she said.

"So how'd it go?" Marcus said as he walked up to his daughters.

"Pretty good, me and Nirra dispatched a ton of them and even got a lot of silver in doing so," Ellie answered as she and Nirra pulled out their coin purses and reveled to have a lot of silver inside.

"Well, congrats to you two. Me and your mother just hid in the basement. Your mother here kept panicking that you two would die out there," he said while whispering the last part.

"Now that's over with, let's eat dinner." Mirabel announced this as the group entered the dining room to eat.

After dinner, her parents and sister retired to bed. Nirra, though, went ahead and excused herself to work inside the forge. While inside, she made a few more charts—about 11 more—so she could start pondering how she would make the entirety of the revolver pistol. While thinking of a way to bend the steel into something that would help her make the revolver. She got a glimpse of Ellie's sword, which was full of cracks and was about to break at any minute. Nirra grabbed the sword and inspected it, and true to her, she thought it was about to break.

"Oh, Ellie, still struggling with the maintenance of this thing." Nirra said as she looked around the forge to find the blade she and Ellie forged earlier.

"This should do," she said, and she grabbed the blade. The sword was practically ready; it just needed a handle and a scabbard. So Nirra took the liberty to start making it for her sister. First, she forged a handguard using four pieces of steel rod. She then went around and attached a ring of steel to the rods that formed a circle. She then grabbed a piece of wood from the pile and started carving it using the tools on the crafting table. She slowly chipped away the wood until she had two rectangular parts that had a notch inside to fit the blade. Then, she placed the rectangle blade end into the notch and covered it in wood glue. She then used a clamp to hold it together while the glue dried.

As the glue was drying, she grabbed a longer, rectangular piece of wooden plank and started measuring the dimensions of the blade. The sword itself was interesting. It was a longsword, but not exactly long, and it's not exactly a shortsword either; it's somewhere in the middle. After she took notes of the measurements, she started carving it into a cylinder, after which she split it in two. She then carved the notches that fit the blade inside the scabbard on one half and did the same with the other half.

Then, after she noticed that the glue had dried on the handle, she used the grinder wheel to slowly grind it into a cylinder shape. She then painted it using Ellie's favorite color, which was red. She used black paint as a primer and layered red paint on the handle with black spots to complement the red. After it was dry, she used the black paint on the scabbard.

She then pulled out the sword from its scabbard and checked for any deformities, to which she found none. Next, she inspected the sword and was satisfied with how it turned out. She then placed the sword, with its scabbard, on the crafting table.

"Ah, finally done. Ellie owes me big time for this," Nirra said, dozing off to sleep with her head on the crafting table.

As morning came, Ellie noticed that her sister was not in their room together. Maybe she woke up early and went to work inside the forge. So she sat up, got dressed, and went downstairs to the forge. Inside, she found Nirra, who was sleeping on the crafting table with a sword in front of her. Ellie then picked up the sword and inspected it; she also pulled it out and noticed something with the blade.

"Isn't this the blade we forged yesterday before the monster horde attacked? She actually finished it." Ellie looked at the blade and back at her sister. She then smiled and patted the sleeping Nirra on the back.

"Thanks Nirra." She said.
