Nirra dropped off her bag, which contained her unfinished shotgun along with the electric motor and its varying attachments. After which, she grabbed her Model 1873 lever-action rifle along with her single-action revolver, which she inserted into her holster. She picked up her bandolier, strapped it around her waist, and checked her ammo. Once done, she walked back down the stairs, where Ameria, Mofu, and Ellie were already waiting for her at the front door.

"Ready to go?" Ellie asked as she finished inspecting her sword and throwing knives.

"Yeah, armed, dangerous, and ready to go," Nirra replied as she knelt down to catch the small fox in her arms. She heard a loud "Mofu!" as she positioned him in his usual spot when traveling. Nirra's shoulder. Mofu's secondary colors also changed to bright yellow.

"I guess Mofu is also ready to go." Ameria giggled and walked up to the fox on Nirra's shoulder. She then proceeded to scratch Mofu's head, much to the Vulpen's delight.

"Let's get going." Ellie then sheathed her sword and walked out of the inn, followed by Nirra and Ameria.

Nothing noteworthy really happened as they walked towards the guild. As they arrived, they noticed that there weren't as many adventurers here as there were two days ago, partly because it was already noon and the morning rush had already passed. Nirra noticed that people started staring at them, specifically Ameria, who had forgotten to put her hood on when they left the inn.

"Ameria, You're not wearing your hood," Nirra whispered. Surprised, Ameria checked by looking around her back, to which no extra cloth was found to cover her head.

"Let us do this quickly and leave then," She whispered back. Nirra nodded and approached Ellie, who was already looking at the quest board.

Of course, most of the quests from yesterday were already taken, and they searched for a doomslime extermination quest on the board.

"Come on, there has to be one around here somewhere," Ellie said while she held her chin.

"Hmmm," Nirra joined in. Her eyes scanned the many parchments that were pinned to the board.

"Well, well, well, whoever thought the knife-eared slave would come back?" They heard a haughty voice that would rival those of arrogant nobles.

They turned to the source of the voice and found it to be a man with long blonde hair tied behind his back. He wore white and gold armor and a blue cape behind his back that had golden trimmings. His sword was on his waist, decorated with black engravings and a golden handguard. Behind him were two other men wearing silver armor.

"Nicholas……… It is good to see you……" Ameria said with surprise in her voice, trailing to a whisper.

"You have a lot of nerve showing that traitor face of yours back here," Nicholas said with visible disgust in his voice and on his face.

The people inside the guild heard the commotion and started staring in their direction with curiosity. Amelia bowed her head, a shadow looming over her eyes that were filled with regret.

"Hey, you don't talk to an S-ranker like that!" Ellie stepped in with a hand in front of Ameria.

"Oh yeah? Don't get involved, little girl. So what if she's an S ranker? She should've had that title revoked with the things she'd done." He said with sting in his voice, "Besides, what are YOU going to do about it? Hit me with your cheap sword?" He laughed afterward at Ellie's outfit, calling it a poor man's equipment.

They then heard a click and turned to Nirra, who had her revolver pointed at Nicholas with the hammer down on her revolver, ready to burst the man's head open.

"That is enough! I will not have you disrespecting an S-ranker and my sister!" Nirra shouted, and Mofu was already on her shoulder growling. The colors of the latter changing to a bright red.

"What's that going to do? Hit me with water? Hahahaha." He laughed as the room erupted in murmurs. "You should join my party instead, girl. I'll make it worth your while," He said, looking at Nirra's bountiful chest.

Nirra felt disgusted; she was being assaulted with his eyes. So she aimed at Nicholas's side, which was a cobblestone wall, and fired a.44 round. The room was silenced by the bang; her weapon was covered by red mist, and the wall she had aimed at had a hole in it. Nicholas froze as he heard the loud noise. He checked the place where she was aiming, and his skin turned white.

"The next one is through the head if you don't know your bounderies," Nirra threatened in a low voice. "I suggest you stop before your head turns into red mist." Nirra clicked the hammer back again and aimed it at Nicholas' head.

Nicholas was frozen; his teeth clenched, and sweat dropped from his forehead. He turned around, and the two men who were with him followed his gesture.

"This isn't over." His voice echoed in the silent room with his teeth clenched before leaving and walking back outside. For a while, everyone just stared at Nirra as they watched her uncock her pistol by slowly pulling the hammer up.

"Are you alright?" Ellie questioned as she patted Ameria's back. The latter stood back up and faced Ellie.

"Yeah.... I'm alright," She said, almost whispering. "Come on, Let's find ourselves that quest." She then faced the quest board and started searching.

All the other people inside eventually lost interest, and the usual noise of the guild filled the room once again.

After a while, The three finally found the right quest to take and registered it at the front desk. Nirra nudged Ellie, signing for her to take Ameria outside. Ellie nodded and slowly guided Ameria outside the building.

"You too mofu" She then kneeled down to let the small fox jump on the ground.

"Mofu..." His secondary colors changed to blue as he followed Ellie and Ameria outside.

"Here is the quest; good luck, adventurer," She said before bowing towards Nirra.

Nirra nodded, took the parchment, and proceeded to the exit. Not before bumping into a familiar figure. Nirra looked up to see Guildmaster Viceroy, who stood upright and was staring at Nirra. He looked at the hole in the wall and back at the adventurer.

"Would you care to fill me in on the events that had transpired, Ms. Agustine?" he asked with a hint of disappointment in his voice.
