Chapter 128 Flying Too Close To The Sun! by Harem-Fan
That Monday morning, I spent the day with the Mu father and daughter. We went out for lunch before separating. Mercy was confused the whole time, about her father being so happy about our arrangement. Not even being husband and wife, and yet treating it as if we were married.

If this is the case, getting to Master level will take a lot more work, but just a tad less than others, to a solid Basic level. I do not believe I will ever reach a Master however in my life, due to my priorities of training in other things.

In front of my parents' stone, Vicky and I are holding hands, and talking to the smoke. Vicky said.
"I thank all three of you for giving birth, raising, and caring for my Rick. I only wish you could see how happy he has made me. Just bless us with a long and happy marriage. Mr Lee, father-in-law... Lee and Long wed, so please know your honor is still in your son's and my heart."
She gripped my hands to let me know it's my turn.
"Birth mother, thanks for giving me life, and making it possible for me to love Vicky. Father and mother, I am taking good care of everything both of you left behind. Tonight, Vicky came home to the mansion, and due to knowing me well, and me knowing her well, she is permanently moving in as of tonight.

Friday, the day before New Years Eve...
Victoria informed me in the morning, she will not attend the meeting, due to it being Pam's job. Vicky was only to get me there, and she did. But Lucy will be my advocate.
Victoria assured me that Lucy proved she had what it took to handle the contracts, why? Because as the Owner's husband, I can break any damn contract she puts me in! How is that for a fuck-you to Pam?
Victoria needed to go to the Tower for her own work, so we all traveled together with Mei driving the two of us.
On a side note, Tina came back safe from her Blood Demon night job. Yes, she still actively earns her millions doing her dark-work, I don't ask and she does not tell, but she would if I did.

"Rick Lee, 9 am appointment."
The blonde receptionist confirmed my meeting and said.
"Come with me, I will take you to conference room #2."
So, I followed the pretty woman to the meeting. She professionally opens the door and points in.
"You are the first to arrive, so help yourself to the refreshments station there, and have a seat."
I ignore the refreshments and sit at one end to the ten person table, and look at my smartphone to see where everyone is.

As Lucy got up with her things, Pam said in a hurry.
