Chapter 27 Syndicate Meeting Day 2! by Harem-Fan
For the next hour, I started to look up guest details and who was in what rooms for the overnight meeting. I cross referenced all names through the Police database for known criminals and looked to see if any foreign guests were staying as well.
A silent call is coming in from Hana so I put in my earpiece and take her call, while I work.
[It is my lunch, is it a bad time honey?]
"No this is a peaceful work right now, I am glad to hear your voice. Work keeps you busy?"
[A bit. So will we be on for Sunday again?]
"You know it. Plus it is summer so I am free more till University starts, but I will always make time for you, even if you just want me to go to your work and sit. I will do that too."
[Hmm, maybe I will buy you a comfy couch for my office, what do you think?]
"I will listen to you, my muse. Also let me know when you plan on going to your hometown to meet your family. I am serious after all."
[You really want to meet my parents? I thought you would want to try and skip that?]

Tina not knowing my history asked another question.

No one can question the dead so I roll with it.
"My father was what you would call a hidden-master and secretly passed on his knowledge to me, but never really over-trained my body. He was going to do that, but he left us. He also taught me to shoot and a few other life skills. I think he wanted me to be a Police Officer like Mary, but I don't want that life. I want to run my own company and support my family."
Tina stood and looked out the window and told me something surprising.
"My mother was once one of the world's top assassins before she married my father."
I can tell Tina is looking into her childhood as she looks over the city in the window.
"I am a killer Rick. I took my first life when I was 12 years old. I chose that path so don't blame my mother, she gave me the choice. It was part of my assassin training."
I stop my laptop work and close it to give Tina my undivided attention. I feel she is getting emotions off her chest.
"Don't worry, I don't kill without reason or kill the innocent. But I need you to know before you see me in action. You have only seen the attractive playful me, and I don't want you to be caught unprepared for my dark-side."
When she turned to me, I could see it, the look of calm that my father had in the bank when he killed the gunmen. That must be the look of a reaper. Will I also look like that? I think it will happen one day, so I ask.
"So after seven years of taking lives, do you still feel love, joy, and care for your family or do you think life is meaningless?"
Hearing my words the look of indifference on her face changed to her normal look and she smiled.
"I still have all of that and dreams for a happy life, but I just have an on-off switch that my mind activates when troublesome things arise. I still don't enjoy killing. So what do you think of me now, Rick?"
"Seeing your face, I know my father was a killer too. And I know he loved us deeply, so I won't judge you at all. I just hope you don't lose hope. Your mother seems to be happy, so I am sure you will be too. And I think I will be even after I have to be like my dad and kill."
Tina walks over and sits on the couch I am on and tells me her thoughts.
"Tonight I will have to kill Fredrick Di and his four men, I just wanted you to be ready for it. Also do you want to take part? This is your free choice like I had at 12?"
I am sure it might happen and won't live in a happy fairy tale, but I answer honestly.
"As long as you or I are safe, then no I won't kill. But if our lives could be in danger I will defend us. I think being premeditated is something I should not do, for now. I want to take life only if I need to. Is that fine with you?"
Tina smiles and says.
"You are creepily like my father in views. He is like that as well, his kill count is much lower than mothers by far, fufu."
I get up and stretch then ask.
"What time is the gathering? I want to shower, eat and sleep before, but I have to secure you first?"
Tina also stands, then she tells me. If this story is on any-other site than Scribble Hub, then it was stolen without permission!
"Midnight till sunrise. It's the quiet time of the night and the slow time for the Hotel. We will have the meeting in the roof-garden, so we don't have to worry too much about making noise. Plus it's too far for snipers to target us there. And all four groups agree on this site. We regularly use this place and it belongs to the Long family."
Alright I will wait for Jenifer to return to take my shower and rest.
Before resting for the evening, I had called to assure Mary, that I am good and miss her. She will be off tomorrow so we can spend the day together after work.
Until 11 pm we only relaxed and watched the news. I spent the time following Di and his men's activities in the hotel. I also spent more time watching the rooftop for strange activities but it seems the security takes no bullshit in this regard and I was over paranoid.
Jenifer wore a solid black-business-lady suit and her red-scrunchy on her left wrist to show her affiliation.
I was dressed like Neo from the Matrix minus the sunglasses.
Tina is wearing a black-bodysuit that everyone can recognize from the that spy Black-widow, Yeah its fucking hot, and she has a red scarf around her neck to show her color.
I do not wear the red due to the fact I am an independent and can work for anyone, like a mercenary and can be bought at the highest price.
After locking up, I lead the two women to the elevator lobby and search the incoming elevator and its empty. I then look at our exit point to see if any ambush is waiting. Tina is trying to get nosy at my actions and say.
"Keep prying and I will end our contract after this. I have my secrets and you have yours. It's like I don't peep on you when you change so don't do it to me."
Tina crossed her arms under her boobs and pouts.
"Dammit Rick, you're full of mystery and I hate mystery. Can a girl just be curious?"
"That would be solid, No!"
"After our year contract I want to see your full ability, so no more secrets, okay?"

Jenifer could not hold it seeing Tina getting refused constantly and let it out.

Tina glared at her right-hand and Jenifer stopped like she did not do anything.
As the elevator door opened I stood in front ready for action, but none was encountered, instead it was a splendid sight!
Except for the elevator-bank and restroom, there was a large glass-wall about 8 feet tall around the roof edge to keep observers from falling (jumping) and did not block the beautiful city view.
In the center surrounded by flower-gardens was a large gazebo for around a hundred occupants, and inside of it was a large square table that had seating specifically set for the event happening now.
Seems we are the last to arrive, and I am sure that was Tina's intention to be fashionably late, as she sways her hips seductively to make all the men lose focus. Based on my Acting Skill and Grandmaster Skill, this is the art of seduction for assassins.
At the table there is seating for only the four Vice Leaders while the attendant right-hands have a seat behind their leaders to show their station.
Inside the gazebo are the bodyguards and major leaders for the four groups and folding chairs for us. In my section are the ten men in the black-van from earlier and outside this area are the lieutenants of the people inside, in case a war started, but these men are important as well, however no seats are afforded them.
Then I use my skill as a Cat Burglar to reduce my presence and skill in Grandmaster also contributes. This is not hiding in plain sight, but the ability to blend in with the environment, so others with low perception overlook me. Like no one notices the average boy in a class full of good looking people as your eyes pass them subconsciously.
The representative from the Crouching Tigers is a surly man with short orange-hair and golden-eyes. He is a 27 year old going by the name of Jerry Bing.
He is being groomed as the next head of the group and is marrying a side-branch daughter of the Tang clan when he takes the position. Yes most leaders are from outside the clan but must marry a member of the main family to be bound to the main clan for loyalty and traditions.
The representative of the Black Snakes of the Lang is Brenda Sho, 25 year old with long black-hair, and white-eyes. She is of the seductive type like Tina.
Seems just like that Jerry fellow, she too will marry into the Lang clan, the one that Linda is a part of.
Why are they called the Black Snakes when the Lang are represented by the Black Tortoise? That's because in Legend the two creatures are seen as one being or two that fight itself. The legend has changed over thousands of years, but the light and dark sides of the family are well represented this way.
The final sub-leader is a young 18 year old short-blonde-haired, pink-eyes woman by the name of Ashley Hue. This girl is interesting due to her coming from nowhere. She had no past on an electric file and just rolled down from a mountain somewhere and magically got a record of birth.
She is wearing azure-robes of a martial artist and is also wearing a veil covering the lower half of her face. But when I looked at her she too looked at me like she knew me? Not only that she noticed my Basic Level of stealth. I could see surprise at my presence like she did not expect me to be here or something, but soon she ignored me.
Not sure how she knows me and I know few women with pink-eyes. But her aura is one I have sensed recently but it was non-hostile.
Tina Feng, getting comfortable, smiles at the three others and says.
"It is good to meet all of you. Now let's get to know one another, and let's talk peace shall we?"
