Chapter 66 Family Dinner, Without Rick! by Harem-Fan
About 6 pm in Star University.
First floor, Victoria Long's office.
Victoria is currently finishing her incident report for this mornings ruckus. This is not anything major but if a family member tries to make things hard on teachers, a report should be filed.
Knock Knock! Victoria looks up to see who at this later hour has come to her office and sees. Lucy Shen with her iconic smile. She is currently waving a large bag with the words [Big Burger] on it, and holding a drink-tray with soda and coffee.
"Hey Boss, I knew you had not eaten dinner, so I picked us up some junk-food to fill our bellies, fufu."
Vicky looks at her new friend and smiles, she then points to the junk-food and says.
"That stuff is bad for you, you know."
Lucy ignores her boss and puts everything on the table and spreads it out. With a grin she said.
"Ah that boy James, Rick Lee's friend said Rick loves this combo and eats it at least once a week. Welp then it is double for me."
Victoria asked.
"Lucy, you're not making trouble for Mr Lee are you? I only brought you here to help while they filled the spot. So don't harass him."
Vicky with an interest in the junk got up and sat next to Lucy and looked at the combo in front of her. She asked.
"So what is this that he likes so much?"
Lucy grins and tells Victoria.
"It's the Super Bacon Deluxe with hash-browns instead of fries. Then you have a choice of soda or coffee. He drinks both depending on his mood."
Vicky hands a sanitized hand wipe to her employee and also cleans her own hands before trying this heart-attack on a bun.
No one would believe that this 23 year old CEO, actually has never eaten a cheeseburger in her life! Yes she owns many restaurants but has always eaten the more healthy options, with the exceptions of things like white-pasta. But if it is eaten with your hands, she probably has avoided it.
Both women at the same time bit into their Deluxe and had interesting expressions.
Lucy, unlike Vicky, has eaten junk-food but not from this particular chain. Vicky however had confusion and wonder on her face as she would take a new small bite and found the taste ever so slightly changed with each bite.
One of the reasons that Vicky had not eaten at Big Burger was the fact it was a Tang business. And due to living with her big sister, she was taught to avoid everything Tang related. However she is pleasantly surprised at this new food.
"Ever since Rick Lee ended high-school he has made most of his own meals and does like to eat healthy for his training, but the one thing he absolutely will never give up is his once a week trip to Big Burger. James mentioned it was something he did with his father before he passed."
Vicky asked Lucy Shen.
"You learned all of this from his seatmate and friend James Tong?"
"You bet. James really loves spilling the beans about his friend if a pretty woman asks, fufu. Well that boy was his only friend while he was bullied by Scott Tang, and never once betrayed him. He is the one to talk to to learn more, well what a computer can't find anyway."
Victoria finished the last bite and said.
"My niece has found James to be an interesting young man, is he someone nice?"
May, cough, Lucy answered while drinking her soda.
"He has one pregnant fiance from the Japan Empire, Akeno Minamoto 24 years old, who is a co-worker to Hana Lee, and that's it. He has a clean record, is polite, and will do anything to make cute girls happy. But the notable thing to calculate is... Rick trusts him. So if you're asking if your niece should date James Tong, then she could do worse."
Victoria then puts ketchup on her hash browns and begins to eat in thought. Then Lucy seeing her ponder suggests.
If you want to make your Friday nights less awkward, try inviting both James and Ashley together and say it's a class bonding. You did say Ashley was not sure how to make friends with Rick Lee, this could repair the damage. Plus James might find your niece compatible with himself.
"Won't that look like one of those double dates?"
Lucy laughs at the naive Victoria Long.
"As opposed to eating at the Velvet Lounge? That and your dress screamed "date."
Victoria blushed and drank her coffee. Then she said.
"He did not seem to feel like he was on one though?"
"That is because he was not seeing you as a woman to conquer. He respects you as a Teacher and a Long member, so Rick can more easily control himself. Plus he has beautiful lovers around to take that naive edge off. But in the end he has only had relationships after turning 18 where others started in their early teens. And you are worse than him I suppose, Ufufu."
Victoria scolds the computer manager.
"Hey, I am still your boss, humph, and how am I worse than Rick Lee?"
Lucy Shen grins and points at her.
"You are a successful 23 year-old woman with a hero complex. A man swoops in and just changes your tire and you are interested, that is so naive, ha-ha!"
"No! It was not like that, he just had a look in his eye. I just could not stop watching him before, like I was waiting to meet him. He changed that tire like magic. Then he just jumped in his white-car and was gone. Before I knew it, I wanted to see him again, to see if what I felt was just heat stroke or something."
Lucy wagged her finger and pointed out the inconsistency in her tale.
"See hero complex, instead of riding in and out on a white-horse it was a white-car. But then you set up that grocery store bump in, right?"
Vicky leaned back on the couch and sighed.
"Sigh, Yeah, and it was the worst."
"Huh? Why was it the worst?"
"When Ashley and I dug up his information based on his plates, I was astonished to find out he was the son of the man that turned the Long and Tang into hostilities. The reason it was the worst..."
She took a drink then dazed at the cup in her hands.
"I could tell that I felt an attraction to him. Not his looks of course because let's face it he is kinda average, but... The way he carries himself and that confidence that he can accomplish whatever he tries."
Lucy knows what Victoria was feeling was his Yellow Emperor presence he naturally exudes, attracting others. A natural leadership that will only grow as he does. Hana also could feel this, then the Feng girl also felt it after he awakened. And of course probably that idiot girl...
"But when my sister found out I was interested in him, she exploded in anger and forbade me from being around him, sigh."
"So why is your sister not doing anything now? Clearly she must know you went out with Rick last Friday and last Monday, right?"
Victoria shrugged and said.
"After Kimberly made that stupid move of trying to get Rick beaten, and my criminal sister changed it to a kill order behind her back, things got complicated with our family. She has not said anything about him anymore."
Lucy with a big smile said to Vicky.
"Then you hired me to try and save Rick from those Mountain Monks, without your family knowing and get all of that juicy information on his background, fufu, you're a stalker, ha-ha! No, don't look mad. The only reason I accepted your job offer was because of your kind heart to save that boy. Why not tell Rick what you did?"
Victoria shook her head and explained.
"No, he almost lost his life, and it was my family, how could he forgive me for my sister's actions? That is why Ashley is afraid of him. It was her mother after all. She feels so guilty but Rick is a monster in battle, so she stays clear of him. So I just try to be a good teacher to Rick."
Ding Ding! Victoria picks up her smartphone and sees a warning text from Rick's phone. Lucy saw the text and asked.
"What is wrong, and is that a text from Rick?!"
Vicky holds up the message warning.
"Rick has a way to notify me when Alex Renaldo comes within one mile of me, so that means he is coming here now, sigh."
Then Lucy stood up and said.
"Don't waste the white-knights alert, let's blow this Popsicle-stand, Ufufu!"

About 6 pm in the main Tang Estate home.
A grand dining room is sitting a now broken family.
Anthony Tang at the end with an empty wife-seat to his left.
To his right sits the next Head, Helen Tang.
To the left of the empty wife seat, sits Scott Tang with his four wives all lined up down the row. Nadia and Nichole are the furthest away with Ann and Becky, his other two pregnant wives next to Scott.
The meal had just begun, and the atmosphere is super awkward today due to the past week's events.
Both main children Scott and Helen have mansions on the estate, but the family rule is to have dinner together regardless of living arrangements. The twins also have their own private villa behind the main house. Scott's other two wives however sleep in his bed.
Scott, exhausted emotionally, tells his father.
"Father, did you get the pictures I sent you? Rick is blackmailing Mei Xia into his service, just to spite me. Please father get her back for me."
Head Tang looks tiredly at his spoiled son and tells him.
"I found out shortly before you sent your ridiculous pictures. And I would not do anything about your ex-maid. She is clearly Rick's maid now and that's it, it's done."
Helen tells Scott.
"Students were posting pictures of you running all over the campus yelling for her and making a fool of yourself." (Only a few students noticed Rick and Mei were using Stealth, so Scott was the main star.)
"No, Rick won't let me talk to her and is blackmailing her, he faked the deportation to make me look stupid! I want her back!"
Smack! Anthony with his eye-twitching tries to calmly explain the situation to his idiot son.
"Shut your mouth and listen! First, who came to arrest her?"
Scott shrinks to his fathers anger and answers.
"Immigration."
"Can Rick Lee control the Government's Immigration?"
"No."
"Did you not confirm she was in the China Empire with video and when you sent money?"
"Yes."
"Can Rick Lee get her back in the country? And could you get her back in the country?"
"No."
"So my genius son, who could bring her back to Eurasia with citizenship, and all charges wiped clean, Rick Lee?"
"No. Only the government."
"Does Rick Lee control the government?"

Anthony, seeing a small bit of light still in his retarded son, smiles and continues teaching where his soon to be ex couldn't.
"Now tell me what can Rick Lee hold over your ex-maid to make her ignore you and be at his side with smiles and obvious freedom?"

"Mei Xia is not the woman you loved. She dropped you like yesterday's trash. This is not a woman for you to pursue Scott. Let her go, and just let Rick Lee deal with a fickle woman instead. If a child can figure out the things I just asked you, then this is not something you should mess with, right? Even if she wanted to come back I would not allow it."
Scott looked insulted and said.
"No! I love her and she loves me. I won't let Rick have my woman."
Nope, his son is stupid after-all, sigh.
His eyes then looked at the twins and thought, 'Rick already has your women, well 3 out of 5 but you're too blinded to notice.'
Yes, Anthony Tang knew about the twins and Rick at their first Hotel meeting. A two hour stay, and pregnancy tests that matched the time, plus the tests magically changing later, to show the wedding night. Child's play for the Yellow Emperor.
The only reasons that he did not kick the twins out was...
Rick is his sister's son. Rick loves the twins. And the most important thing, the fact he is the Yellow Emperor. Doing anything to Nadia or Nichole would make any reconciliation impossible with his nephew, so he looks the other-way. Plus Helen seems to be fond of Rick.
Helen the voice of reason.
"No, father warned you and now mother is gone, and I warned you, right? Do anything to them and when father makes me Head, you're gone with mother."
Scott was still pissed.
"Mother is right! Why are you two treating a bastard better than your own brother and son ?!"
Helen sneers at Scott for being dumb.
"Admitting you're my brother hurts you know! If you and mother had never targeted Rick five years ago, we would never have even known about him?! So you can only blame mother for sicking you on Rick like a rabid dog. And the worst part, mother is gone and you're still a rabid dog. Do you know what happens to rabid dogs, Scott? They end up being put down."
Scott feeling his family is betraying him, and his mother the only family member to support him gone, his heart was tight. his two fists are white from clenching, but what can he do? Hire killers? No the Long did that, and they were slapped in the face in front of the entire nation.
Scott then smiled and thought, 'Mother is in the Song clan, and they love me!'
Anthony seeing his son's joy probably from a very stupid idea says.
"Whatever stupid plan you just thought of, will not only fail, but it will get you kicked out of this family, Scott. Your sister won't be the one, but me. And if I kick you out, I will replace you with Rick. How is that? Do you think your stupid plan is good now?"
Anthony is a viper here because Scott's wives will sink with him, so he knows that Nadia and Nichole will work extra hard for Rick's sake, well their own benefits, they are survivors and opportunists.
Scott is basically going to rip the Song and Ning's back into conflict over a former maid and his inability to let go.
"I promise, I won't touch him. I am not stupid."
Even his wives all look at him ready to pack their bags.

"Scott, if you get kicked out, my sister and I will leave you."
Scott, feeling good in his heart again, just said.

No one spoke the entire rest of the meal, but later Helen sent her cousin a warning text... Of course with the Head's permission. You need to look out for one another.
Who knew Anthony Tang was waiting for this very day for over five years!
