Chapter 67 My Master Tang! by Harem-Fan
About 10 pm, after putting my wives to bed, I have to listen to Mei...
"Oh! No no no, This maid cant take it anymore, young master Tang! Hah-aha, I can't stop, Ufufu!"

Then she held up two fingers and explained.

"The twins can divorce Scott so you can marry them and they and your children still remain Tang with their real father so no shame on your part. Your other wives can live a better life. And with Scott and Debby gone, The home will be a kinder place. Additionally, Helen is the next Head, so you don't need to be responsible for the Tang clan. At most, you will run Tang owned businesses, and you are in that University course anyway."
I take her hands off my face and I ask.
"But if uncle Tang does not go back on his words, what about you?"
Mei looks at me with a mix of surprise and pity for my naive side.

She is so charming and smart, that I forget like Tina, she too has not had many happy moments, well Tina has a warm family though, but Mei has truly been alone her whole life. I smile at her and point to my computer and tell her. She sat beside me on the couch to see my laptop as I explained.
"This is the [Bar Di] where we are going too, and this is the floor-plans, security-feed, and the list of employees working there. Tina gave me a list of all current Fire Birds in North City so I put them in this file. This is a map of the surrounding buildings and who they are owned by. These are the main roads in or out if things look ugly..."
Like a sponge, Mei Xia listened to everything I pointed out and is memorizing it all. After about 20 minutes my lecture nears its end.

Mei looks into my eyes and asks me.
"You're like a professional Intelligence Officer. This detail on an easy mission is expansive. This is all from your skills learned?"
"Yeah, I know a lot of things now. The reason I can make this setup here is my infiltration skills. Plus my hacking skill is very useful. Sigh, But it all came with a heavy toll on my heart."
Mei put her hand on her chin and her curiosity got the better of her so she asked something no one has.
"If it is too personal, ignore me but... What is it like to reincarnate?"
Wow that is actually a deep question when you think about it. I do remember most of my past life with some things erased from it.
My guess of the events of the System reincarnating me is that it is spreading information from one Earth to another using my soul!
Based on my past life of an alternate Earth and the fact the Yellow Emperor of this world arrives every 400 or so years, I think there are a total of around 5 Earths the Dragon or System moves my soul in a cycle. It did say I wasted my last life, meaning that Earth did not benefit from it.
With the knowledge gained at 18 from every-world, I use past life memories to innovate and expand humanity in each world.
For example, I could have been Einstein in one world, or Da Vinci. Not them for sure, but just an example of humans that innovate and expand humanity. The Legends of the Yellow Emperor, the first one, was he was an innovator and immortal from the Heavenly Realm and immortal. Legends have truths behind the exaggerations.
No mind you, this is only my guess from my last and current life's readings of manga, anime, and books. I could be totally wrong here. But... I believe I am very close to the mark.
Mei is patiently waiting for my answer as my past life's loneliness is remembered in a moment. His constant fear of the outside world, his rejection from his family, and all of his disappointing interactions with fellow human beings. And when he finally unlocked his System at 18, he ended his life in depression...
"What is it like to reincarnate? It is painful, lonely, and probably worse than eternal-rest. Just knowing when you die, you will move on is a bit terrifying to be honest. It is something I don't want to do."
Seeing Mei's brown eyes examining me, I only smile and finish.

Today, Mei is dropping me off in the Feng-Hummer because she has shopping to do for supplies. She needs to go to a government sponsored black-market to buy some surveillance gear we can get on the open-market. This is a perk of her spy status.
When she opened my door with a smile, I saw in the distance Scott was standing at his limo to watch and confirm this was not a one time fluke and Mei is still serving me. Mei handed me my bag and said.
"While I am out, I will live monitor his calls and actions, so ignore him and just do your school-day like normal. I promise he won't even make a move with you in public till his whatever childish game is done. See you at lunch, bye Master~!"
The eager maid hopped in the hummer and took off leaving me grinning at her acting skill.

Soon Victoria entered class, and as she was passing her niece then they talked, Victoria looked surprised then she looked over to James and nodded to Ashley. I think she asked for permission to go out with him.
Then a minute later, I finished the roll and went to put it on Victoria's desk. When I put it down, she asked me.
"Mr Lee, good to see you back after yesterday. Thanks for your text, you let me avoid trouble again."
"Did it? it is automated so I had no idea, but I am glad it worked for you."
As I was turning to go back, she asked me something.
"One moment Mr Lee, on Friday when I treat you to dinner, can we maybe chaperone my nieces first date with your friend James? She has never dated a boy and is nervous. I think if the two of us are there, they can feel more at ease?"
I think for a moment, and it sounds better than just a normal meal, plus I can see James squirm with Victoria watching him, sounds fun.
"Sure sounds fun but maybe let's not let James know we are coming, he might freak out."
Victoria smiled at my acceptance of her proposition and said.
"Then I will make reservations for 4 at the BBQ House across the way, and I will pay for everyone, how is that?"
I nodded yes to that, because I like that place. She then exposed her secret.
"Don't tell anyone, but I am the private owner of that restaurant. It was my first independent business I made when I was in University, so don't be surprised that I implemented your business ideas there."
I then realized it was the flagship business and right in-front of the University, so that makes more sense why it was there.
"Sure, I won't tell anyone, then we will both be chaperones on Friday then. I will go back now."

"I would be a shit friend if I ruined his chance to get to know you. Plus I know you won't let anything happen to my only friend, right?"
