Chapter 87 My Friends Need Help! by Harem-Fan
On my way down the elevator, I kept getting strange looks by Benz like he could not believe I came from his Bosses home. So I mess with him and ask.
"You keep looking at me funny, do I have lipstick on my face?"
So I pulled my phone out to use selfie mode to see myself, like I am really looking for her lipstick.
"No Mr Tang, I was just surprised Miss Long had such a close male friend."
I stop clowning around and admit to him.
"Not to worry, I am only messing with you. Your boss Victoria and I are only teacher and student. At most we are good friends, so don't start any rumors she would not like. But she is a kind woman."

As we made it into Star High Mall, we noticed an abnormality...
A lot of people were fleeing from the Mall exits like a fire was happening. I frown at this and pointed to a spot, let me see what's up.
Bang Bang Bang Bang! When Mei turned off the engine, the two of us clearly heard gunfire coming from the mall's open door. The shots are echoing so the exact number of shooters is unknown. Just as I was going to call James, he texted me...
[James Tong: Gunmen have raided the jewelry store and my group is hiding behind a counter. I think there are 8 criminals, don't come man, sorry.]
I don't reply because there is nothing worse in horror and action movies where someone is hiding and their phone goes off alerting the bad-guys, so I talk to Mei While I open my laptop to hack into the mall security.
After telling her the information I got and showing her the laptop she said.
"Rick, if you're going in, your gear is in the back. I can come with you and help?"
I pulled down the seat and started to get to my gear. Thankfully Mei thought ahead and brought my long-coat and vest along with weapons I will need.
Mei is strapping on my communications gear and my vest while I assembled the M107 .50 Caliber Rifle.
"As much as I would like you at my side Mei, I don't want to expose your ability too much in public view. Plus I need you to watch my 6 with the laptop. Really I will be fine Mei."
Putting on my long-coat for me, she said to me while gently smacking my chest armor.
"Just know, if you die, so do I. So no hero shit or I will be your partner in hell till you move on."
I heft the 35 pound gun in my right arm and patted her cute face and told her.
"Don't worry, I am immortal, I won't die, watch my back Mei."
Wearing my latex-gloves, I pulled out my lock-pick set.
As I ran to the employee entrance I found, I heard sirens from law enforcement in the distance...

After breaking the lock with my picks, I entered freely, due to hearing Mei in my ear.
[When the criminals lost their feed into the mall security cameras they got nervous and put two of their men in the outside walkway to watch for intruders. They are the ones shooting at random civilians to make them run.]
I see the two gunmen Mei is talking about up on the 3rd level and standing at the front of the jewelry store, one in the entrance and the other looking over the wall for movement in the mall.
[I am sending you the main camera for the floor of the shop on your smartwatch and I see there are about 20 shoppers and employees huddled together behind the counters. For now they are not targeting the hostages. SWAT and the police have arrived, so work quickly before you get tied down on 2 fronts.]
I take the employee stairs and think that the hacker who always seems to be watching my movements, but has already been in the system. I had to kick them from the mall security for me to use it. Well I did not control the outside so they can still use it freely. I noticed the hacker didn't try to block or hinder my takeover so they must be part of the ones that sent me Mei Xia.
"Okay Mei, I am in position, so cut the power to the mall, my eyes are already closed."
[Affirmative.]
I have currently climbed to the 4th level for a better view and turned on my night scope and set up my Barrett M107 .50 Caliber Long Range Sniper Rifle on a table pushed to the rail. I have had my eyes shut so the sudden light to dark won't affect me as much.
Click! Va moo! The sounds of everything going dark, shutting-down, and the distant sounds of panic from shoppers still in other stores hiding can be heard. I slowly open my eyes and look into my scope...
At a close range of 100 feet, I may as well be in point blank range with this gun. My armor-piercing rounds will instantly kill anything or anyone I shoot here.
[Remember I can't see except through your body camera, and the police are startled by the power-cut so work fast so I can turn it back on.]
The guy behind the first one is slowly coming to his buddy and I target his chest because any near miss will kill him. As my crosshairs found the perfect point, my finger squeezed...
BANG! bang-bang-bang! My single shot made an eerie echo of many shots fired, and without watching my first target explode, I am currently targeting the guy closest to me, turning to the man that dropped and ducking behind the low wall to hide from snipers... Sorry this is an Anti-Material rifle for this reason...
BANG! bang-bang-bang! I shot right where he was ducking and a fist sized hole was left there and I know he did not move from that spot and he will most definitely be dead when I get there...
I memorized the position of where the group of men were near when the power-cut, so I rapidly unload all 8 remaining shells with a blind Magazine Dump.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! I then quickly stow the gun under some debris and chairs so no one will notice it for now. Then I say to Mei as I crawl over the ledge of the 4th floor.
"Power on Mei, and damage report?"
Click! Hum! As the power came on I released my hold on the 4th floor ledge and caught the 3rd floor ledge and crawled over the wall, then ducked to the floor to hide... (Acrobatics Master and Cat Burglar Basic)
[The two guards outside are dead, one dead inside and the other is missing his right arm and shoulder section, he will die, so four men remain. No hostages killed, yet.]
As I stay under the low-wall, I rush to the store, meanwhile I look to my smartphone to see the inside live.
"Mei can you retrieve the Barrett and the ten spent casings while I go in, I don't want the police to find it?"
[Fine, but you will owe me an outing to risk it. The police are starting to move in.]
"Sure, sure, whatever you want, just do not get caught or hurt, the gun is less important than your safety. I am going silent, I am here..."

Kim, Akeno, Ashley, and James were huddled up with the other shoppers and employees while the gunmen worked at blasting open the main safe.
Kim noticed that Ashley was calm and just keeping James safe and not pressing an escape, but she could tell this blonde girl could fight.
James was just protectively holding Akeno in his arms to make sure she stayed safe.
Then she smiled thinking in the end, no one protected her like all women dreamed of. Just a 27 year old woman with no prospects other than a good job and a few good friends.
Kim had only come to the mall to pick up her laptop that had been upgraded for better performance. Sure she is a programming wizard, but she is a bit of a klutz and putting together fine computer components has always ended badly for her. All of those pesky little circuit-boards all look the same, right?
While she held her knees pondering how she and her friend got into this mess to get some jewelry, the lights in the mall went out.

The boss is annoyed at how dumb his crew is.

Everyone hearing the extremely loud rifle fire all laid flat to the ground in fear of being shot. Only the first two of ten shots sounded like aimed sniper shots, but the last 8 sounded like it wanted to kill everything and anything.
Crash Blast Crunch Ding Smash! On top of the screaming robbers moaning in pain and despair the sounds of shelves, tables, windows, and walls crumbling and breaking from the loud gun showed that it was a Military weapon, maybe the SWAT team was assaulting and they would be saved!

[Fuck get down its the police, how did they get here so fucking fast and shut him up! Hurry empty the vault now we are leaving before they fire again!]
Click! Hum! All of a sudden the mall's power came back on and we were all blinded again from light to dark, and back to light.

The now recognizable boss's voice gave orders.
[Fox and Dog, go get two body shields, and Ox carry the loot for our head Boss. I will lead us to the tunnels.]
Soon we saw two men wearing animal face masks look at our group of hostages and the one with the Dog mask saw me and I could tell his eyes looked happy to pick fresh juicy meat to eat. No way this ends well for me, dead or worse.
His gun pointed to me, and the Fox man pointed his gun at Ashley. The Dog said.
[If you two blond ladies resist, you die, now both of you get up!]
"Fuck off dicks! You can't take her!"
James, seeing Ashley get picked, was getting up to stop them but...
Bang! And Jim fell back to the ground bleeding and in pain. He was shot in his upper-leg. The Fox said.
"Don't worry I will take really good care of her for you hero. Now come with me or I will kill your man!"
Ashley's pink-eyes only calmly looked at this Fox and stepped into his left-arm. Then he pulled her away as Akeno held Jim's bullet wound while crying.
Dog then grabbed Kim and held her close and said.

The two women are then held facing out to clearly show they are shields. Both women only ignored the lustful hands on them due to the situation being critical.
The boss wearing a Hippo mask said to the bag carting Ox and the two hostage carriers.

As the group of 6 were exiting, the gory scene outside the jewelry shop was visible.
One man in a bloody shredded animal mask with a massive chunk of his chest was just gone.
Another crook crumpled against the wall with a baseball sized hole showed he lost his head and upper neck area to a sniper shot through the fucking wall.
The third body was a man face down in a pool of blood and he was in a black long-coat. Ashley's pink-eyes opened in amazement at what this meant!
Bang! Bang! The Hippo boss put two to the heart to make sure this man died, but he did not twitch so he said.
"Hurry, I hear police coming in the lower levels so move stupid and stop fondling her, fucking idiot!"
Dog had just started to grasp on Kim's large C-cup to see his gains as he was scolded.
"Damn Hippo you can shoot and I can't squeeze? Fuck off I hate your rules, fine I am going damn!"
Kim's heart sank because not one good outcome will happen now...
At that moment, getting shot is the choice she will go with...

I see Ashley restrained Dog just fine, so I tossed my weapons, I will get new ones after this. I went and got my medical kit and rushed into the store with Kim.

Yes the police have arrived, but have enough brains to not arrest me yet while patching a GSW victim. If something happened to Jim because they stopped me, their jobs would be gone. Kim was explaining things to the officer waiting for me.
Just as I finished Jim's emergency treatment, I saw the paramedics come to take him away. Naturally Akeno is going and telling them what I did for Jim's leg.

Soon we saw two men wearing animal face masks look at our group of hostages and the one with the Dog mask saw me and I could tell his eyes looked happy to pick fresh juicy meat to eat. No way this ends well for me, dead or worse.
His gun pointed to me, and the Fox man pointed his gun at Ashley. The Dog said.

James, seeing Ashley get picked, was getting up to stop them but...
Bang! And Jim fell back to the ground bleeding and in pain. He was shot in his upper-leg. The Fox said.
"Don't worry I will take really good care of her for you hero. Now come with me or I will kill your man!"
Ashley's pink-eyes only calmly looked at this Fox and stepped into his left-arm. Then he pulled her away as Akeno held Jim's bullet wound while crying.
Dog then grabbed Kim and held her close and said.

The two women are then held facing out to clearly show they are shields. Both women only ignored the lustful hands on them due to the situation being critical.

As the group of 6 were exiting, the gory scene outside the jewelry shop was visible.
One man in a bloody shredded animal mask with a massive chunk of his chest was just gone.
Another crook crumpled against the wall with a baseball sized hole showed he lost his head and upper neck area to a sniper shot through the fucking wall.
The third body was a man face down in a pool of blood and he was in a black long-coat. Ashley's pink-eyes opened in amazement at what this meant!
Bang! Bang! The Hippo boss put two to the heart to make sure this man died, but he did not twitch so he said.
"Hurry, I hear police coming in the lower levels so move stupid and stop fondling her, fucking idiot!"
Dog had just started to grasp on Kim's large C-cup to see his gains as he was scolded.
"Damn Hippo you can shoot and I can't squeeze? Fuck off I hate your rules, fine I am going damn!"
Kim's heart sank because not one good outcome will happen now...
At that moment, getting shot is the choice she will go with...

Whoosh Smack! Whoosh Smack! Trusting in Ashley's ability, I aimed for both the Hippo and Dog's outstretched guns and disarmed their weapons with two swift strikes.
Remember back in the day when I first awakened? I bought a special grip-tape for my fighting-sticks? Well with my body and hands covered in blood this would be difficult to keep a good hold of my sticks without it. See I am smart, well never-mind.
Kim, seeing my emotionless-eyes and blood covered form was frozen in fear. She thought the man on the floor had died due to her experience as a nurse. Then she recognized me as the very last person she thought of, her mind just stopped.
I and Ashley however did not have the luxury to just stand so we moved!
Ashley did not let me down and had grabbed and disarmed the man she was held by, Fox. She took the gun and placed it on his face and... Bang!
She could safely shoot unlike me. If I would have used Gun-Fu at this spot, Kim or Ashley could have gotten hurt, so I just started to deliver my emotionless execution...
Whoosh Smack! Whoosh Smack! Dog and Hippo both took accurate shots to their temples, and seeing Dog let go of Kim and fall to the floor, I turned my attention to the kneeling Hippo.
Whoosh Smack! Whoosh Smack! Over and over I accurately caved in his head until a pair of arms grabbed me from behind, I knew it was Kim so I did not attack her. I ask.
"Are you alright Kim?"
Kim Smith's green-eyes told me her mental state and she said.
"I am safe, so help me save your friend!"
I see Ashley restrained Dog just fine, so I tossed my weapons, I will get new ones after this. I went and got my medical kit and rushed into the store with Kim.

"Kim unzip my pack next to Jim and then carefully pull off the latex gloves for me so I can sanitize my hands."
I sat next to Jim and Akeno and gave instructions. While I cleaned my hands and put on new gloves I handed Akeno the clothing scissors.
"Akeno, remove the pants from the GSW and I will look."

"It's a through and through, so the bullet is out. I held most of the blood-loss I could."
As I am going to do the painful cleaning, I say to my buddy.
"James, I have bad news brother... You're going to live. Ashley is perfectly fine and she does not want to hear you cry like a bitch so bite down on this clean cloth, don't have time to baby you so suck it up, here I go."
I pour the sterilizing liquids and clean the wound the best I can. As for his stitches, I do a fast field job because they will cut them open in the hospital later and redo it.
Yes the police have arrived, but have enough brains to not arrest me yet while patching a GSW victim. If something happened to Jim because they stopped me, their jobs would be gone. Kim was explaining things to the officer waiting for me.
Just as I finished Jim's emergency treatment, I saw the paramedics come to take him away. Naturally Akeno is going and telling them what I did for Jim's leg.
The moment I saw Steve Woo, outside the store with a smile, I said to Mei.
"I think Steve Woo is going to arrest me, so call Nick Soto. And tell my wives I will be late coming home tonight."
