“Double Raging Boar Horn!” Chief Ban Boarhill shouted as he appeared behind the Giant White Serpent’s head, but it managed to dodge from the blow, not allowing it to strike the back of its head. Just like every creature, it still had its weaknesses.

It looked towards the twins, which had managed to dash away together away from it, and then looked at the Chief, which had landed on the opposite side.

There were four others which had joined, each of them wielding spears too.

Annoying!

These pests were doing a good job pissing it off!

The Chief had forgone his spear since the beginning, he was too immobile whilst using it. Even if his spear techniques were stronger, he would die before he could use them.

[Those twins are good enough to replace my First and Second Spear, but that still puts us at a disadvantage.]

He shook his head.

[Thinking? That’s not like you, Chief Ban Boarhill. All I have to do is beat this snake bastard into the ground, that’s all.]

“Attack! Show this snake bastard what happens when it comes into the territory of the Boarhills!”

The Spears weren’t going to mention how this wasn’t their territory, it was irrelevant. Their Chief had given them the command to unleash their strength, and so they were going to take every opportunity to beat this Giant White Snake, even if they were going to die while doing it.

The Giant White Snake hissed out wildly and then slid around in a circle, moving rapidly, like a snake tornado.

“Damn! We can’t get close!”

“Don’t stop!” The Chief grabbed his spear, seeing that it was the perfect time to use his spear techniques. “Keep the bastard busy for a few seconds!”

[The Chief must be desperate to use that technique!]

“Make time for the Chief!” Third Spear shouted, filling his companions with adrenaline. He charged forward with his spear tightly gripped within his hand.

[If I’m going to die, I’ll do it with a spear in my hand!]

“Heavenly Boar Spear Technique! Rising Spear!” He channelled his ki through his spear and shot forward like a missile, his spear pointed upwards.

Everyone noticed that the Third Spear was committing suicide as he went against the snake, and they were going to take the sacrifice to deal whatever damage they could.

Lily and Ash grabbed each other’s spears with their free hands and pressed up against one another. “Twin Spear Destruction.” They turned their spears towards the Giant White Serpent’s spinning body, and then charged towards it. It was a suicide technique as well, but the Giant White Serpent would be more bothered by the closest technique.

At least, that was what they hoped.

As they all charged towards it, the tail struck the Third Spear, shattering his spear and body. The other Spears didn’t have time to mourn, as they struck the tail all in a single spot, where their Chief had struck with his mightiest blow.

The pain filled the Giant White Serpent, no longer just a little prick, but an actual wound. It hissed in pain, and swiped its tail to crash against the remaining three Spears. Each took the blow, but managed to soften it slightly with their spears as they were forced back.

The Giant White Serpent hissed out again as something finally drew blood against it, and it snapped its head back to see the twins having forced their spears inside a scale from behind.

It spat vile acid against the twins, the pair managing to leap away as the ground where they had just been melted.

“Such a terrible acid,” Fourth Spear said, staring at it. He wasn’t confident up against this snake, and seeing the ground melt, he couldn’t help but think they were going up against a god.

“Fourth Spear,” Fifth Spear said, looking at him. Her eyes held a question.

“Chief still hasn’t drawn his strength yet,” Fourth Spear said, understanding what must be done.

First Spear and Second Spear watched, keeping an eye on the fight, guarding Jita at the same time. They had to watch as Third Spear sacrificed himself, and Fourth Spear was about to do the same.

They were Spears, and so their lives belonged to their Chief. They could only watch and pray for their companion’s souls to be avenged.

[We’ll witness your sacrifices!]

It was all they could do, unless they wanted something to happen to Jita. They understood that the Chief wanted his strongest to guard her in case something else came to attack her, but their hearts still mourned for their dying companions.

“Heavenly Boar Spear Technique! Rising Spear!” Fourth Spear was going to do the same thing, giving them a few seconds to do as much damage as they could. He leapt forward, right towards the Giant White Serpent, and the others shifted their positions so they didn’t attack in the same way as last time.

“Twin Spear, Double Spear!” The twins began a movement with their spears, like a dance, and they started to step towards the Giant White Serpents. Their hearts pounded, understanding that one little mistake meant death. With each step, they stepped quicker and quicker, approaching the Giant White Serpent.

It had finally understood that these beings together were a grave threat to it, so it fought with its life on the line. It had been a while since it had to do such a thing, but to think it had to do it against such puny beings.

Even a thousand rats could take down an elephant.

It hissed out wildly, splashing acid onto the Fourth Spear, which melted his body in an instant. He screamed in pain, but continued his technique, though by the time he reached the snake, he wasn’t even skin and bones. Nothing was left of him.

The twins had stepped forward, but had found the Giant White Serpent had been keeping the greatest threat in mind, swiping its tail towards them. They struck the tail with their technique, which did manage to wound it, but Ash and Lily were both struck by the tail as it rebounded towards them.

Their bones shattered as they were struck, and they fell to the ground. They vomited blood, but swallowed down their pills. The other Spears retreated, having not found the opening they had hoped.

“Damn it!”

“This Giant White Serpent is too powerful!”

Fifth and Sixth spear exchanged a look, the women nodding their heads. It didn’t matter. Third and Fourth Spear had given up their lives as part of their duty, and now it was their turn.

They took a stance together, with the twins also taking a stance on the opposite side. Their spears were pointed towards the snake, which was looking between them, trying to keep the pair of them in sight. Then the four charged in, like beasts readying themselves for death.

Their spears were gleaming, ready to take blood, or to be shattered. The Giant White Serpent spun again, camouflaging its attack in its movement, before its tail whipped out towards the twins. The twins didn’t step away from the blow, instead taking it straight on, managing to pierce through the scales of the Giant White Serpent’s body with their spears.

Its tail was now heavily wounded, dripping down wet blood everywhere. It roared and slammed the twins harder, causing them to crash against the ground. They vomited more blood and slipped another pill into their mouth, looking up towards the Giant White Serpent.

The Fifth and Sixth Spear both had their spears readied to strike, but as the body of the Giant White Serpent came to a stop, its head charged towards them.

“Do you think we’re afraid of you?”

“Die!”

The Giant White Serpent opened its mouth wide as the two charged forward, not caring about their lives.

“Did you forget about me?” Chief Ban’s voice came from behind the Giant White Serpent. Not just behind, for he was too close. He was right behind the Great Beast’s head.

The first puny thing to hurt it was behind it again!

“Heavenly Boar Spear Technique! Descending Spear!” It was the greatest technique the Chief knew, but it took too long to gather ki. “This is for my Spears, and my Jita, you snake bastard!” He charged downwards towards the back of its head. It was a sure kill, even on such a Great Beast, as long as he hit.

[Come on!]

He shot down, and right as he was about to strike the back of the creature’s head, it managed to spin its head around, coiling around the Chief instead.

[Fuck!]

First and Second Spear grew cold as something darted past them, and the Chief was about to be killed in front of them.

It had been allowing the Chief to get closer and closer, until it was too late for him to move aside. It knew that the Chief was strong, so it wanted to consume him in order to make the rest of the fight easier.

It opened its maw wide, about to swallow the Chief, when all it saw was its blood ahead of it, covering its eyes. It felt the pain of opening wounds all over its body. There was where the spears had hit on its tail from the twins, and the wounds that the Chief had originally opened and the Spears had manage to aggravate further.

Then there were… ten new wounds all over its body, greater than the wounds of the twins.

No.

There were eleven new wounds, ten which were great, and one which was minor.

It couldn’t even hear the name of the technique as it died, unable to clamp its jaw around the Chief. Blackness filled its vision as it dropped down.

Standing ahead of the snake were two unconscious figures. One figure, which was passed out with a gourd in hand, was Gin. He had finished off the Giant White Serpent with his Tenth Drunken Sword technique, which had covered its entire body with slashes.

The other was a stranger. He was clothed in pure red, wearing traditional martial clothing, but with a red bandanna over his eyes and forehead. He was also snoring lightly, asleep, but with a sword in his hand, dripping fresh blood.

“Sleeping Dragon Sword,” he muttered quietly, and continued to snore.

“…”

“…”

[Who the hell is that?]

Announcement Seriously, who is that? Will you find out soon? No. Oh... Well! At least the second season has started over at Patreon! It might be starting quite smutty...
