Luke parked Jess's SUV in the basement parking lot of the hotel where her sisters were staying. The two girls followed him on Instagram and he followed them back, seeing their photos on their social media, he had an idea of their characters.

He had been exchanging messages with the girls since Thursday. According to Jess, the girls were both nineteen years old. They were Jess's half-siblings from her dad and the girls have different mothers. Sebastian impregnated the girls' mothers, around the same time.

He couldn't help with the smirk at the idea of how much drama and chaos ensued with it. But, then many years later, the girls were best of friends, acting like twins since they had the same birth month.

He turned off the ignition of the car and got out. He trod to the elevator that will take him to one of the restaurants of this five-star hotel to have brunch with the girls.

And after, they would go shopping, using Jess's black credit card. The retail therapy was for the girl to help them fix their broken hearts. He found out the story of it from exchanging messages with the girls in their group chat.

The girls were seeing some boys that happened to be cousins. The maternal grandmother of the boys was celebrating her 88th birthday. They were invited with the respective boy they were seeing. It was fun! The boys were cousins, the girls were sisters. It was a perfect pairing.

Until the day of the event when family members subjected the girl to interrogation where the FBI would cringe. And the birthday party was turned upside down when the boys' family found out they shared the same father.

The cousins were told by their family members not to have any relationship with the sisters - Christine and Sarah, and that the cousins should stop seeing them. The girls were heartbroken, and now Jess, as the good older sister, was treating them to a shopping spree before they headed home.

However, Jess was out of the country due to work, and he, as the best friend of the year, was taking the responsibility to take the girl on a shopping spree that would heal any broken heart.

When he stepped out of the elevator, a hotel employee bowed down in front of him and asked him if he had a reservation. He was speechless for a moment because he just realized that with so many messages he exchanged with Christine and Sarah, he forgot to ask what family name they were using!

"Sir?" the hotel employee asked him again. "May we ask if you have a reservation? The restaurant was accessible only for guests checked in the hotel," the young hotel employee informed him with a small apologetic smile on his face.

"I have a brunch appointment with the Zimmerman's sisters," he said, casually throwing the family name Jess is using, hoping that the girls' mothers let their daughters use the casanova Sebastian's name.

"Please, follow me, sir," the hotel employee slightly bowed down and led him inside the grandiose restaurant.

"Luke," Sarah saw him first because she was facing him as he approached their table. Christine turned around when Sarah beamed on her chair.

Seeing Jess's half-sisters, Luke had to admit. Sebastian has really good genes and the girls' mothers were probably such beauties with how the girls look.

"Sit down," Christine snapped her fingers in the air and another hotel employee seemed to magically appear next to Luke to get his order.

"Sorry, I woke up a bit late. Hope you didn't wait too long for me," he opened his napkin and put it on his lap.

"Oh, no, no...we just came down."

"Christine is lying. She dragged me off my bed and came down too early," she rolled her eyes. "...when she doesn't even eat breakfast because she was too excited to go shopping."

"And, you don't?" her hands were poised in the air, ready to have a debate with her sister.

Luke sat with his back straight on his chair, his gaze darting between the two beautiful girls, and noticed they both had their father's eyes.

He also observed that the girls like to disagree with each other and Christine has the habit of having her hands on air, as if she was ready to command a bunch of commoners to do her biddings, while Sarah, at first glance, looked all prim and proper, until she opened her mouth and sharp words 'politely' came out of her pretty mouth.

Sarah's words were sharp enough to make Christine's face contort in deep frustration towards the other girl. Luke wondered how the two became best of friends and he wondered how chaotic it would be when they were doing the actual shopping with how the two disagreed with basically everything the other was saying.

Having enough practice dealing with Jess's bitchiness,  the girls arguing in front of him did not faze him. He actually found the two girls enjoyable and easy to deal with.

He ate his breakfast with the two telling him what they want and where they want to and do, and every time the girls' sentences would overlap with one another that would result in exchanges of sharp glances and rolling eyes.

He had a hard time suppressing his laughter as he listened to the two banter while he eats his breakfast.

He was having his coffee when he decided to speak up. "You can both do whatever you want since your sister left her black card with me."

The two abruptly stopped talking and Luke found himself facing two pairs of eyes, staring at him as he sipped his black coffee.

"Jess gave me her black card for us to use," he said again, for the two girls didn't speak and just stared at him. "Is everything fine?" he asked, confused with the sudden change of mood with the two girls.

"Peachy!" Sarah told him and Christine nodded agreeing to her sister for the first time.

"Correct me if I'm wrong, Jess didn't tell you two that she left her credit card with me?"

The girls shook their heads at the same time. Luke laughed in amusement. This is going to be a good day, he thought to himself.
