Ye Fan put down the suitcase in her hand and stood in the living room, reading it.

“Dear contestants, the next period is the challenge competition. The competition is going to be a musical instrument section.”

That was all that was revealed by the program team. Nothing else was said. As for what exact instruments or songs, it was likely still confidential information.

Ye Fan went into her own room. The dorms have already been reassigned. She was now in Group A, so her room was on the first floor.

There were still a few of the 11 contestants who have yet to arrive. The others may have gone to the gym or were resting in their own rooms.

Ye Fan casually tied up her hair and went out of the villa.

The program team told them beforehand that there were several piano rooms inside a nearby house with different musical instruments for the contestants to choose from.

The previous competitions did not include the use of musical instruments, so no one used the piano room over there.

Since they were going to be competing in instruments next, Ye Fan decided to practice for a while and find some inspiration.

When she arrived at the piano room, sure enough, nobody was there yet.

She casually found an empty room and sat in front of the piano, lifting up the lid.

Staring at the black and white keys, Ye Fan was a little lost in her thoughts for a while. Her eyes drifted away as if she had gone back to the past.

She short life she experienced in the previous world seemed so to be so distant.

Her long, fair fingers fell lightly on the keys, lightly stroking them. Ye Fan could feel the strong desire to play it.

Music used to be everything to her, but she liked her life even more now.

Ye Fan’s lips suddenly curved into a smile.

She touched the keys with her fingers and tapped out the cords. The piano instantly sounded in the silent room with a slow but gentle rhythm.

She was a little rusty at first, but she immediately got into it.

Her playing carried with it her unique sense of clarity and purity.

Her piano was like a trickle of water, slowly flowing through, spreading calmness throughout each corner.

When Ye Fan was playing the piano, she was fully concentrated and did not notice any changes happening in the outside world.

As her fingers ran over the keys, her eyes were serious.

On the other end.

Qi Shu who had rushed over for the recording received a phone call.

Qi SHu looked down and picked up the call. “He Han, did you need something?”

He Han’s deep voice emerged from the other side of the phone. “Are you at the recording site?”

Qi Shu lied. “No.”

After a few seconds, he seemed to have realized something. “He Han, there aren’t any parts for you today so you don’t have to come. What are you asking this for?”

He Han did not answer him and continued asking, “Do you know where Ye Fan is?”

Qi Shu pondered for a moment. “We’re going to have instruments this week. She’s probably in the piano room.”

A cold hum emerged from the other end.

“Hm? You…” What are you looking for Ye Fan for?

Before Qi Shu could finish his words, the other person hung up.

Qi Shu looked at the phone and pouted helplessly. He Han was probably on his way to the piano room right now.

Forget it. He’ll tell Director Sun if they ever catch anything, then they shouldn’t put the footage in.

Piano room.

Ye Fan was sitting in front of the piano, playing a few tunes.

With different songs came different styles as well to go with them. Even though she had her own unique feel, the vast majority would not be able to make it out.

Only those who knew her or who have heard her play many times would know about it.

Ye Fan sat there for so long that her back was beginning to grow a little sore.

She did not continue to play but instead stopped to rest.

At that moment, a knock suddenly emerged from the door.

It wasn’t a heavy knock, but nobody was saying anything. It was extraordinarily clear in the silent piano room.

Ye Fan froze. Her eyes look over and found He Han standing at the entrance of the piano room.

His gaze was cold and clear as if he could see directly into her heart.

He Han kept on staring at Ye Fan, gaze not moving for a moment.

Who knows how long he had been watching.

Ye Fan was puzzled. “How long have you been there?”

She had no idea that He Han had already found out about Dudu. So, while speaking with He Han, she still acted as usual.

He Han smiled. “Not long. I just arrived.”

His words were ambiguous.

He suddenly walked over towards Ye Fan, and the air seemed to be filled with his clear scent.

His steps were not hurried and his gaze was constantly locked onto her.

There was no one else here. The room was empty, and her heart also felt hollow.

Ye Fan felt a little uncomfortable with his stare and looked away, dropping her head to look at the keys in front of her.

She wasn’t looking at anything in particular, she just wanted somewhere to rest her eyes on.

The sound of the footsteps stopped.
