It is morning. The sun is up. Usually we hear the chirping of birds in Amleth, but here it is the mechanical sound of a golem that greets us. It's strange, but considering that mining is the job of most people here, it makes sense. I wake up a little later than Dana, and again, she hugs me while she is awake. She likes to play with my hair, so I let her. We share the same bed, while Sister Khamisah, in the same room as us, uses a different bed.
"Five more minutes..." [Diana]
"Sure" [Dana]
"As much as I want to spoil you, too much of it wouldn't do any good. Come on, get up and shine" [Khamisah]
"Yes..." [Diana]
I hug Dana's worn out teddy bear a little to stretch myself. It smells like her. When I feel a bit refreshed, I take my bath for the day. Since we share our bathroom, it's cramped, but I don't mind. It's my family that I love. I just wish my father, mother and my big brother were here with Nar, Sas and Khamisah, but I know it's impossible. It's a little sad, but it is what it is, and I wouldn't complain too much since Goddess herself is giving me a chance to meet Dana and my new family.
As for breakfast, they're up earlier than me today. A bit rare, since I am usually the one who wakes up first. Even rarer is Master Merlin waking up before me! That's a rarity!
They're all talking about the performance two days ago, praising each other and patting each other on the back for a job well done. It's noisy and the five brothers and Siti are doing their best to serve us all.
"This is the last day before we all go back to Amleth, how about we go for a walk? Just the five of us with Fie" [Diana].
"That sounds great" (Khamisah)
"Anything you want" (Though I hope it's just the two of us, but no matter, her happiness is my top priority) [Dana]
Since Nar and Sas are staying at the castle (as they serve as personal bodyguards for Kara and Mara, along with a few others), we decide to catch up with them after breakfast. I wave goodbye to Master Merlin and the others before heading out.
Once we are in front of the castle, we get permission to enter. It takes longer than usual because I usually just walk through Aunt Amleth's castle, but this is someone else's castle, not hers, so I have to follow procedure.
"Oh, it's you three" [Nar].
"Where are Kara and Mara?" [Diana]
"Since this is our last day here, we thought we'd take a look around with the three of you, the princesses are okay with that" [Nar].
"I see, we were thinking the same thing" [Diana]
"Then there's no time to lose. I will ask the knights here some interesting places" [Nar]
"Let's go, go, go!" [Diana]
The knights suggested some interesting places nearby. We've already been to the mountain, so it's not on our list. We have already been to the Devil King's Castle, so we will cross it out as well. Other interesting places are the jewelry street, where precious gold and other similar products are sold left and right, seems like a nice place. There are also the abandoned mines that are being used as a haunted maze by the circus! That seems fun. The river that bleeds gold is also a popular tourist attraction. People can search for their own gold scattered around the river.
"Let's just go to the circus" [Sas].
"Agreed. We can spend the whole day there" [Khamisah].
"I've never been to the circus, have you?" [Diana]
"Me neither. Is it fun?" [Dana]
"It depends, but I would recommend you to go at least once." [Nar]
To the circus we go. It's supposed to be a long way, but since we're all traveling by magic, it doesn't really take that long. Carting is nice, but since we are short on time, using our legs and magic to get there is even better! Training and saving time at the same time. As for me, since I am a bit lazy halfway through, I quickly rode on top of Fie.
After arriving at the circus and paying the entrance fee, we first find a booth and take a few sips of water. We take what the locals call air sirap, a water made from roses. It is sweet, but also a little expensive, as they crush many, many roses just to make a glass of it.
There are many attractions to see. A golem show where they pit one golem specialist against another golem specialist. It's a fight between two Golems! It's entertaining! There is even a golem animal show where different golems with animal features do different tricks.
"This Golem Tyrannosaurus Rex is big! Diana, do you know any taming magic?" [Dana]
"Which one? Golem, animal, plant, monster, ghost, but to answer your question, yes, but I have never tried it. My friend Tio is better at it than I am. Why do you ask?" [Diana]
"I see. There are different types of taming magic... Well, if I ever see a Tyrannosaurus Rex, I want to tame one and ride it into battle! Wouldn't that be the best!" [Dana]
"It is! Just like how I ride Fie! Look! Look! This chubby frog golem is cute too!" [Diana]
"It kind of is!" [Dana]
"I know, right! Now I kind of want one! Maybe we should go to a dungeon and capture one!" [Diana]
"Natural Golems like that are hard to come by, and when they are, they're often taken by researchers from this land for research" [Sas].
"That's unfair..." [Diana].
"Then how did they find it?" [Dana]
"They use an ordinary Golem and upgrade it over and over again. Believe me, it must cost a house or more" [Sas]
"That much!" [Diana]
There is also a betting session going on. Sas observes the golem and its owner carefully and bets on the right person, and what do you know, his bet is right on the money! That's cool!
And then we went to the haunted house, or in this case a haunted cave. It's crowded, especially with kids and couples. The entrance and exit are the same, so we can see how they all enjoy the attraction. Once we enter, it's pitch black with the flashlight as our only source of light. To make the session more fun, we are not allowed to use any kind of light magic. It's not that difficult for any of us to navigate, as we're all used to the dark.

"And the ghosts are high quality cloth" [Khamisah].
"There's even a trace of mirage mana, probably to induce scare" [Nar].
"Well, it's effective for normal people, but for us..." [Sas]
"It's still fun! Look, they're trying their best to scare us!" [Diana]

It's a long walk, with a jump scare here and there. We are in for about an hour and there are lots of ghosts and scary monsters that they imitate! There's even a real ghost of dead miners, but none of the staff and visitors noticed, so I quickly kill them, or so I want, but they beg and beg not to, and when Dana tells them to cross over to the other side, they do.
While we explore the circus and have fun, dusk greets us and it's time to go back to our inn. I am having fun today! It's really fun!
