It's a big crowd at the exit of Emas. All of us here are going home on the same day and at the same time, hence the large crowd. Me and my family, Kara and Mara, the church, the Opera House team, Marianne, Tio, Adnan and their families. Even Princess Siti is here as Master Merlin has accepted her as an apprentice. Since she wanted to study under Master Merlin, she will be staying in Amleth. She doesn't have a place to stay yet, so Master Merlin said they will stay together for a while. Jean even offered her to stay with her family. Wherever she will stay, it doesn't stop the worried queen from fidgeting.
As I say goodbye to Siti and her five brothers, our carriage begins to move. With me are Khamisah, Dana, Neloufa and Miss Vita, as we used the Opera House carriages. Princess Siti is with Kara and Mara. As for Master Merlin, she's with the adventurer Marianne. She blends in perfectly with them, giving them tips and tricks for better spellcasting. When they find out that she used to be Aunt Amleth's tutor, things get even more complicated.
The whole day is rather uneventful. We talk, play cards, and even practice some spells here and there. It's a fun trip, even though it's tiring considering the recent events. I'm sure I've dozed off a few times, since I wake up to find that I've been using Dana's lap as a pillow.
"How enviable. Neloufa, why don't you sleep on my lap" [Vita].
