To answer my question, Alraune are a subspecies of Dyrad. Alraune are spirits more closely associated with flowers than with trees. There are also subspecies of Dyrad that live in fruit, called Epimelides. However, if you call them Dyrad, it's still acceptable.

Of course, all the mana that is dispersed can enter the earth, but these three help to better regulate it, otherwise some places will be completely devoid of mana, while some will have mana storm due to excess. These three have been preventing this from happening since they were created by the Goddess.
