I'm tired. The process of strengthening my wand and clothes is much harder than anything I could have ever imagined. At this rate, I'm not even sure if I'll be able to finish it before the battle with the Devil King.
Strand by strand from the world tree leaves, trunk, and sappling, each with its mana highly preserved while taking it and carefully imbued into my staff. It's heavy. Not only that, but I have to make sure that the staff can actually withstand it, or else it might literally explode from overfilling with mana. It's hard. I can feel my hand shaking. I have to concentrate hard or the mana will dissipate and the quality will deteriorate.I even have to carefully pour my mana into it to further increase its compatibility with my improved staff. Not only that, but I have to make sure that the wand can actually withstand it, otherwise it might literally explode from the mana overload. The good news is that since this wand is made of World Tree, the process is easier. Another good news is that since fairies are born from the World Tree, I guess the clothes they gave me were also made from the World Tree, so processing the same to upgrade my clothes is not difficult either. For now, I am focusing more on my wand and my favorite red dress.
That's it for today. I'm starving. I don't care that my stomach is rumbling in front of them. I'm sweating profusely. I feel like I've overexerted myself, but it feels good. Even though I feel like I haven't made much progress even though it's been almost two weeks, I can tell that my wand and my favorite red dress are a little stronger. The same fireball spell I cast on my wand is now even stronger. I'm not sure about the dress though, supposedly my recovery is faster now, but I honestly couldn't tell the difference.
After saying goodbye to the Queen of Dyrad, Grandmother Farhah and I leave the World Tree Realm. It's dusk, and there are still some believers who offer their prayers to the Goddess through the World Tree. According to Grandma Farhah, this is the ancient method of elven prayer that she and her master have approved. Of course, there are still some elves who pray to the World Tree itself, not to the Goddess, but who am I but a human child to argue with them. Grandmother Farhah herself hasn't said anything about it, and neither have the other priests and priestesses, so I'm sure it's also a good religious belief on their part.

Of course, they're mostly vegetarian, but the restaurant and the stall here have different culinary sets that cater to those of us who want to eat meat. I'm glad, even though the price of meat is a bit expensive. Their fruit and vegetable dishes are great, sure, even someone like me who prefers meat wouldn't mind having it for a whole day, but, I want some meat for me and for Sister Khamisah today, so, let's spend some money.
