The crowd is on the edge of their seats. They are excited for the second performance of the night, starring none other than Miss Vita herself! The land is now overflowing with the curse. Dark miasma leaks out left and right, and without Maleficent to control it, there's no hope left for the kingdom.

"We are starving"

"This grass... I'm sorry, my child, this is all I can afford"

"It's the royalty's fault! They're the ones who did it!"

(This is... Sigh... I'm sure Master Merlin hasn't told them about my past, but I can't help but feel it. If she's here, I'm sure she'll pinch me like she used to, and Maleficent will cast a spell to make the numbness last much longer.) [Amleth]

(Mother?) [Mara]

(Has something happened?) [Kara]

"Nothing my dear, just a bit tired" [Amleth]

In its place, a knight bravely absorbs all the curse of this land, swallowing it until there's no more. Of course, this comes at a high price. A very high price, because the knight is rampaging through the land, killing everything in sight. He couldn't help it. He feels pain. He feels resentment. He's just lashing out at his pain. The narrator emphasizes that the knight's grief stems from the fact that his body is breaking and he's aware of the heinous act he's done.

(Ophelia... Sigh... I'm sure it's just a coincidence...) [Khamisah]

(This part... The only difference is that Ophelia did it for my sake...) [Amleth]

The howl of the knight, with a hint of darkness to it. I enhanced it with my spell. A crew member of a Harpy race did the same. Since she's the more experienced of the two of us, I just helped her add the Dark Mana and Mirage Mana to make the audience crawl with fear. For the sake of a successful play! Yes. Just a little trick, nothing more

"Mother... Father! No!" [Vita]

Miss Vita, playing the role of the first princess, scream and cry as the now adults us(played by other actor and actress of course). Her cry is contagious. I don't even need to do anything. I'm sure the audience feel her sorrow and sadness. That's just how good she's. Neloufa couldn't help but admire it, even when she see this each time during our practice. I feel the same.

Miss Vita, playing the role of the first princess, screams and cries as the now grown-up us (played by other actors and actresses of course) die. Her scream is contagious. I don't even have to do anything. I'm sure the audience feels her grief and sadness. That's how good she is. Neloufa couldn't help but admire it, even though she saw it every time we practiced. I feel the same way.

Miss Vita then sings a song in the old elven language. She has Grandma Farhah teach her. Of course, the elven delegates are surprised when she sings it beautifully and perfectly. She makes Grandma Farhah proud. I'm sure she wanted to join in as well, and she does. She, from the audience side, starts to sing along and approaches Miss Vita. I'm glad that this is all staged. She herself wanted to be a part of this piece, so we are all giving what she wanted. This is one of the Opera House's ways of saying "thank you for taking care of Diana".

With the duet singing. I cast an illusion. The bird in sorrow, chip and fly away. The tree, with leaves from green to gray and rot away. The others also support her, making this scene even more impressive! The sweet yet firm violin. The piano, conveying how sad the two are, and yet there's a glimmer of hope. I'm sure only those who are fluent in elven language can understand the full meaning of the song, but they're touched nonetheless.

"Thank you..." [Vita]

"For the sake of this kingdom. Go. Do what you must" [Farhah].

This scene made the audience clap even harder compared to our act, and rightly so! Their duet is so beautiful! The only thing that could make it better is for Saintess Rumia to sing along. I can see that she understands the meaning of the song. Perhaps the goddess will translate it for her? No. I'm sure she just knows enough to understand it.

And now Miss Vita, who is undergoing various challenges, must reach out to Maleficent. Along the way, she interacts with her own subject, understanding their grief, their hardship, and yet, contrary to her beliefs, her people actually greet her with warmth. They tell her that even if she fails, they will support her no matter what. Her parents built this country with the hope that everyone would live in harmony, and she's there to make sure that nothing destroys that dream.

(If only my parents and the previous royalty shared this sentiment... I'm glad I did it, though so far, Ophelia still suffers... Diana is maturing... Perhaps she's strong enough... I'll ask Master Merlin's opinion again) [Amleth]

(I can't help but feel like they're aspiring to the past of this land, when their royalty wasn't Amleth, but rather Vars. Of course, since this is only an aspiration, many things are not consistent, but why do I feel like their queen...) [Ling]

And so Maleficent, still weak from her last battle with the fairies, gives her power to Miss Vita. She's just lonely and wanted to feel appreciated, but now she can't help but feel remorse for what she's done. The two cry their hearts out. They cry and cry and cry, and again, it is surely contagious. With every last drop of their strength, they save the land and the knight, but at a price.

"Farewell, may you sleep peacefully in the goddess' side."

With that, a sad and happy melody fills the house. Miss Vita, behind the closed curtains, once again sings a beautiful melody of her own creation. Neloufa provides her with backup at certain points to make it even more powerful. She sings her heart out. Her soft voice, the musicians giving their best. The audience, silent because they're completely captivated by the song. It's without a doubt the highlight of our performance for today and so

"Thank you for coming today"

The audience cheers so loudly that I swear some of us might go deaf in a few years.

"We did it!" [Neloufa]

"This is... I'm really happy!" [Rosaria]

"Don't celebrate yet. We still have to introduce ourselves to the audience" [Vita].

"Let's go, go, go!" [Diana]
