It looks like everyone, except for one of the dark guild members, is on the lower floor. With that, Master Merlin, Fie, and I fly to the upper floor and enter through one of the windows, carefully making no noise while my invisibility and sense ignorance spells are activated. Since I make sure the werehouse is docile and obedient to me, this is a smooth entrance!
One of the dark guild members on the upper floor is a dwarf. He's busy cleaning his new weapon, saying things like my darling and my beloved pistol. I can actually empathize with him. I mean, I love this wand that Master Merlin gave me, and I even hug it sometimes, but... That guy, he even kisses his pistol several times. Well... Time to put you to sleep with my sleeping spell. He seems unaware of our presence, so putting him to sleep is easy enough. I don't even have to chang. It becomes second nature to me by this point.
One down, seven to go! I'll just put them all to sleep! That way I won't have to fight them. I mean, I'm sure I can win against them, especially with surprise attack advantages, but I'm not sure if I can win without hurting myself. I really wanted to test my strength against these people, but it's a foolish act. Why should I hurt myself and risk these guys escaping when I can definitely put them into a deep sleep, make this werehouse move towards Amleth and have them all arrested, it's no brainer which option is the better one.
Downstairs, the guys are slightly drunk. The smell of alcohol is strong, but not from the abundance of it. Maybe it's just expensive alcohol. Either way. I hate it. It reminds me of my terrible time in the Aru village. I hate and hate and hate alcohol! Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Ahh... As much as I hate it, I can't deny that it makes my job of putting them to sleep a lot easier in this case.
