To make sure that the plan to connect Amleth with the Elven Kingdom is feasible and a success, it needs a ground to stand on, and that ground is between Amleth and Emas, as we are neighboring countries with a strong bond to begin with.
"And I will carefully select students and staff for this. Don't worry, only the most hardworking, ingenious, and sincere of them will be chosen. Hope this is a success, so that I can pull, I mean, I can ask all of you to volunteer for the one that connects Amleth with the Elven Kingdom" [Merlin].
"I have mixed feelings about this" [Tio].
"Me too. On the one hand, success will be welcome, but we will undoubtedly be dragged, that's for sure" [Marianne].
"It's voluntary, my dear little Marianne. Of course, I will not make the test super duper extra hard so that you all fail and inevitably come to join, nor will I use anything dubious and witchy to get your help. I can definitely see her doing what she said she wouldn't, but she also understands other concerns, which is why she wanted to test the ground between Emas and Amleth first and foremost.

This will be a monumental and important project for both countries, even more so to prepare for the inevitable rise of the Devil King. I myself will be the one chosen to do the work" [Princess Siti].

The researchers also expressed their interest. I'm sure they've already agreed, but they're just here to get some students to help. Dana and I look at each other. We don't need words to understand what we're thinking, so we say
"I'll volunteer. My two best friends are working hard. I couldn't leave them alone" [Dana].

So far, the six of us have already said that we will join. I'm not sure if this is what Master Merlin wanted in the first place. After all, she must have already selected a few names as she said before, but I hope this will bring in more students.
