The corpse of Oglakan is protected by several layers of barriers, each of equal strength. They're mostly light-related barriers, but there are also some water and wind barriers mixed in, specifically the second and third inner layers of the barrier.
Analyzing it without touching or tempering it, it's mostly for hygiene purposes. I'm not sure how smelly or disgusting it is, but that's the answer I'm not the least bit curious about.
"We have prepared the place to dispose of and burn the body."

The Church, with their religious scripture, keep chanting spells of purification over and over again, making sure that the ever burning white flame of purification engulfs the devil body over and over again until it's no more, and once the flame has subsided, Saintess Rumia chant a very powerful holy dispel to the ground, before the dug hole is filled back up with purifying mud. Before we fill the hole with the mud, we all make sure that no traces are left behind. Teliara, Sas and I even do a very precise search magic on the ground, and I even use Gaia's blessing to be extra sure.
"It is surprisingly normal. Just like a certain part of the Empire, Xianxia and Southern Island, but with more protocols than ever" [Teliara].
