Chaos
There are three things that are currently making the rounds among Amlethians. One of them, of course, is good news, namely the release of Ophelia Vars from the hospital, as her condition is stable. Flowers and gifts were thrown left and right to celebrate such happy occasions. It might be just me and the young maid and butler, but it really seems like the older generations are the ones celebrating more. That just proves how great a person Sister Ophelia is, as we help prepare her room in the house. The others insisted that they do it, but she's someone who will be living under our roof as a family, so I'll do my best to help clean it as well, no matter if it's just a speck of dust. Well, the preparation has been done for a long time, but it's just to make everything look perfect today.
The second and of course the biggest thing is the news of the betrayal of the two dukes. Of course, the Vars family, led by Nar and Sas themselves, as well as other Special Knights of Amleth are there, and this causes tension everywhere. The Duke of Spear and Prosperity trying to stage a coup against Auntie Amleth, it's such heavy news for Amlethians. More than that, several houses are being arrested as well. Accusations were thrown left and right as they said that it's Auntie Amleth's way to seize power for herself, but we have proof, an undeniable proof for that matter.
Third, an unexpected one, is that they somehow know that Sister Khamisah will step down as Saga and become the Guild Master of Amleth. This one got a mixed reaction. How it started, nobody really knows, but it's been made public sooner than we all expected and Sister Khamisah neither denied nor agreed with it, which basically says yes, she will step down as Saga. Even the news of Randy and Savel soon to be promoted as S-rank are made public. Again, mixed reactions. Some celebrate as Amleth will have more S-rank adventures, but some mourn, saying it will take more than two S-ranks to fill the gap left by an SS rank, The Saga Khamisah

I mean, I wanted to help too. At least I wanted to be on the side of the nice Duchess of Prosperity, the one I had tea with back then. She wasn't involved in the coup, but given her position, she's going to take a big hit. Of course, there might be other things I can help with, like tracking down those who somehow escaped or helping to calm down the tense situation... Somehow, I guess? I don't know how, but just sitting around knowing something big is happening is not a good feeling.
