I'm not sure why they need to capture them, but I can sense that they won't hesitate to kill any of them if necessary, and that's exactly what they did.

In anger, Dana awakens her fairy transformation, the same one she used when she was angry with the devil! It's as beautiful as the last time I saw it. Powerful thunder mana erupted around her. As for Kat, I only know Miss Aya from the Special Knight of Amleth, who awakens her beastly transformation from the cat beastman species, so I am surprised when even Kat is able to do it. When Miss Aya awakens, she is covered in dark mana, while Kat is covered in thunder.
The two of them, without missing a beat, quickly try to save the hostages with a roar of thunder. They rush in, creating a surprise attack. The first strike of the two of them managed to catch one of the Empire soldiers off guard, as Dana managed to pierce the chest of an Empire soldier, while Kat was able to cut the arm of the one threatening to kill the boy.
However, the Empire soldier are not to be scuffed. They're quick on their feet. One of them tries to cut Kat's tail off, and they almost did, if the Elder Giant hadn't saved the day.
