Here I am, with Werehouse, where I will begin to dissipate the size-changing form that made it small.

We are here at one of the research field, along with Master Merlin, Sister Ophelia, my two brothers, the researcher from the magical department, along with few others. Many expert carpenters as well as Master Brokkr and a few blacksmiths were also called to help us.

"Meow" [Fie]

"Thank you, Fie. Don't worry Werehouse, you can do it!" [Diana]

Werehouse let out a worried sigh. Well, at least that's what I understand from my interaction with it. I mean, we are in the process of upgrading him. Upgrade is a nice word. For a living house like Werehouse, it's no different than having major surgery to remove your body parts and give you something new and better. No matter how many times I think about it, even I can't help but feel sorry for Werehouse and the fear he's feeling right now.

Master Merlin is explaining the process she has designed. Of course, it's not the full draft yet, since the blacksmith and the carpenter have to weigh in as well, but the basic idea is there. She wants everyone to understand that this isn't just dismantling Werehouse and giving him new plank/wood/stone as needed. That would work for any ordinary house, but Werehouse is a living house, and as such should be treated with the utmost care.

"So you wanted the coffin of the coffin turtle to swallow the core?"

"Correct" [Merlin].

"Won't the house die then?"

"I can understand your concern, but don't worry, I've already thought of something" [Merlin].

According to Master Merlin, she has already deactivated the coffin part of the coffin turtle. Deactivate isn't really a correct word here, but maybe because there's no better word, I'm sure Master Merlin used that word anyway.

The coffin part of the coffin turtle is a living thing in itself. It's not just a shell for the turtle. What Master Merlin wants us to get is the part of the coffin that's no longer attached to the turtle, but is still alive. A difficult task in itself, and even more difficult if you're not a witch or someone with witch-like knowledge like Wandering Sage.

Master Merlin then puts the soul into stasis while keeping the coffin in good shape. She doesn't want the soul in the coffin to be in good shape and still have the outside rot. It's no different than a zombie. Not only that, but she makes several key adjustments that she says allow the same relationship between the coffin and the turtle to be established in this project.

"I'm impressed. A legendary witch can really do anything.

"If she can't do this, she wouldn't have the audacity to call us all. No. She has much more to say, so shut up and listen to the end" [Brokkr].

"You know me" [Merlin].

Master Brokkr scolds one of the blacksmiths. Mind you, this blacksmith isn't just an apprentice. No. He's an expert on it own right. However, since Master Brokkr is one of, if not the most famous blacksmith in the entire continent, even respected by the Dwarf King, he takes the scolding as a sign to improve himself. I guess this is how experts think

"Basically, I need the blacksmith to upgrade the coffin to make it bigger with the materials I provided. Mind you, I need all of that material to be incorporated. Less and it might as well be considered a failure" [Merlin].

There's more. She wanted the coffin to adapt on its own and become one with the Werehouse. Once the coffin swallows Werehouse's core, it will begin to assimilate the two, making them have the same mutualism as the coffin turtle.

What's more, since Werehouse wanted to keep changing his form whenever it was convenient, Master Merlin painstakingly gathered the necessary materials to do so. The explorer couldn't help but praise the materials she collected. The giant oyster's pouch. The Undead Dragon's Heart... Seriously, how? How is she able to get that... There's more. The clock from Diana's mirage dungeon is here. The blood-soaked necklace and chain. It's both interesting and a little creepy how she's able to gather all these materials by herself. Of course, there are others that were collected by us during our trip to Philip, as well as some that were requested by her from Sister Ophelia, but most of what she collects is indeed of the highest order.

"So by combining the coffin with the core, Werehouse can be upgraded?" [Ophelia]

"Correct. That is the first step, after all. I wanted the coffin to house Werehouse's mana core. Think of it as an extension of the Werehouse Mana Core. If the mana core is bigger and better, then we can upgrade Werehouse however we want, but if the Werehouse mana core is fragile, unfortunately, it wouldn't survive what we're going to do" [Merlin].

"Basically, the coffin will become like a second body to share the burden. Interesting" [Sas]

"I see. No wonder it must be the coffin part of the coffin turtle. If it's just a normal core, then Werehouse will just bear the burden all by itself" [Nar]

"Master Merlin is really amazing!" [Diana]

"Praise me more, darling! Keep the praise coming!" [Merlin]

"Meow!" [Fie]

"Right! The greatest witch ever!" [Diana]
