CHAPTER 283
Thankfully, after her call with Liu Xueyi, Gu Jun gave her a positive response to her message and they agreed to meet up somewhere for lunch.
Although the restaurant wasn't overly fanciful, Andromeda was happy nonetheless that it was by the window close to the road where she could get a bit of fresh air and also watch the people walking past.
After placing their orders, Andromeda kept her gaze transfixed on the road, almost ignoring the companion she had in front of her.
All through her drive down there, thoughts of Liu Xueyi kissing her fiercely filled her mind.
In the end, she had the urge to drive to meet him but she knew better than to do that.
While Gu Jun placed their orders, she could not help trying to take her mind off this which was why till that moment she looked lost.
"So, you did not tell me what happened to your outing with your boyfriend," Gu Jun said, breaking her from the mild state of the trance she found herself in.
"Honestly," Andromeda breathed out as she peeled her eyes from the window and looked at Gu Jun. "I am tired. But most importantly, I want to listen to the news you have for me."
She rested her jaw against the palm of her hand, Andromeda blinked expectantly at him. "Tell me."
"Fine," Gu Jun cleared his throat and brought his hands to the table in front of them. "Where shall I start from?"
"I don't know. Just say anything that makes sense even."
"Alright. I, Gu Jun… I think I am bi."

For the next minute or two, Andromeda's eyes remained agape as she stared with unbelieving eyes at him.
His lips pressed together in the form of a whistle as he blew out sharply. "So, what did you say?"
Rather than speaking, Andromeda reached for the glass of water at her side and instantly placed the cup close to her lips and gulped down a mouthful.
"Andromeda, I love a girl and I think I have a crush on a guy as well."
Brrrriiffffff!
Shocked by his next choice of words, Andromeda sprayed all the water she had poured into her mouth out in front of him, staining his face and clothes.
"Huh…"
Cough! Cough!
She beat her chest quickly as she tried to wave her apology to him. At first, he was shocked by what she did, however, seeing her have a coughing spree, Gu Jun shook his head, pushing his shock away and quickly assisted her.
Taking the cup from her hands, he placed it on the table and rushed to her side to gently pat her back.
"There, there. You need to take it all in slowly," Gu Jun reminded her.
At this point, Andromeda could neither complain nor refute his words, he had a point that was strong. But one could not blame her.
His words had been shocking for her.
After some time, her breathing calmed down and he returned to his seat before pouring her a glass of water.
His brows drew close together as he studied the expression on her face. Judging from the crease on her forehead, Gu Jun could tell she was trying her best to take in all of his information the best way she could.
To a large extent, he appreciated all the efforts Andromeda put into their friendship. He could not be happier to have her as a best friend.
Suddenly she whipped her head up. To his surprise, all she had on her face was a smile as her eyes gleamed at what was in her heart.
"That was shocking but something tells me, I have a lot of stories to hear. When did it start?"
His eyes glistened with tears. To him, Andromeda was more like a mother and the sister he never had.
Having her take the news so naturally without any form of criticism or judgmental stare, made his heart feel safe.
"Andromeda," Gu Jun called out softly.
She could see he was fighting back the urge not to cry. Just seeing him fight strongly made her recall the old times when they were there for each other.
Back then, he held his emotions in like this and would only show signs of wanting to cry when they were together.
Like always, she was there as his friend to comfort him. And just like then, she was going to do the same once more.
Bringing her hand back on the table, Andromeda placed down the handkerchief which she had used to dap the water droplets from the side of her mouth and reached for his hands.
"Gu Jun," she gave her most fetching smile and leaned forward.
Seeing that smile, Gu Jun involuntarily smiled at himself and felt a still stronger flow of love for his best friend.
"Andromeda."
"Shh, you do not have to say anything. I understand, to some extent that is," she blushed at him.
"Thanks."
"Nah. No need to thank me. After all, it is what friends are for. So, who is the lucky girl and boy?"
She lifted her brows severally at him in a playful manner while giving him a knowing stare. Even at that, the smile on her face remained kind and accepting.
"What can I say? There is this girl I met."
"From work?"
"No. I met her where I usually go for a children's foundation. She is a volunteer there. We got to speak and well; I kept on falling for her. "
"And what makes you think you are bi? The guy?" Gu Jun gave a single nod as the crease on his forehead straightened out.
"Yes."
"Who is he if I may ask?"
"You do not know him, I think. But I started getting feelings. This is… I don't know."
Her lips pulled back some more as her eyes dimmed at him. A soft sigh fell off her lips as she tried to soothe him, caressing the back of his palm.
"Take it easy. One step at a time," Andromeda emphasized.
On the other hand, the way they sat and the look in their eyes while they stared at each other gave anyone who saw them the impression they were lovers.
