After being teased so much by Charlotte, the two of them finally regained their composure. Despite the awkward atmosphere, they drank the tea that Isabelle had prepared for them and took a break.

As they regained their composure, Gilbert entered the reception room. He told them that a delegation of messengers had finally arrived in Ze'at.

"All right. Please lead  them here ."

"Yes."

Gilbert left the reception room, and Leolde exhaled heavily from nervousness.

"Fu~~~......"

"Are you nervous?""

"I'm embarrassed to say that I'm nervous. What kind of persons  is coming?  what kind of things will they say? There are so many things to think about, but no matter what, I'm nervous."

"Hmmm. Don't worry. I'm right here with you. Don't worry, I won't put any burden on sir  Leolde alone."

"Haha. This is reassuring. Then I'll take your word for it this time".

(I'm really glad that Sylvia was there this time, and I decided to leave it to her. Originally, it was a problem that I  had to deal with, but the burden was too heavy.)

After that, the two of them slowly waited for the group of messengers to come to the mansion. They didn't speak much, but continued to wait while Isabel poured tea for them. The sound of tea cups being set down was the only sound in the parlor.

He wondered how long it had been since then.  He  looked at  watch and saw that more than thirty minutes had already passed. Leolde began to feel a little irritated, wondering how long  they should keep him waiting now that they had arrived in Ze'at. Silvia, on the other hand, was just waiting quietly.

Finally, a group of messengers arrived at the house.

". Lordd Leoldo. This way, please."

Sylvia tapped  Him side and moved Leolde. He moved to the upper seat, the sofa, and sat down next to Sylvia."

When Leolde has moved on, Gilbert leads the group of messengers to the reception room, and Gilbert tells them that the group of messengers has arrived in the reception room.

"Master Leolde. I've brought you a guest.

"Yes. let them in ."

A group of messengers entered the reception room. When the door was opened, Leoldoes eyes widened when he saw the group of messengers coming in.

( Why is the fifth prince coming here! Normally,s he would have to get permission from His Majesty first!)

(What does the Fifth Prince himself ...... think the empire ...... is up to?)

(Perhaps sir Leolde is the one  they after. ...... Are  they trying to make him nostalgic? No, if that were the case, they would have sent someone else. If the fifth prince has arrived, does that mean that the empire is at least seriously trying to get hold of sir Leolde ?)

(Whatever the case may be, we must definitely stop them. For the sake of the country and for my sake!)

Although it didn't show on her face, Sylvia was just as surprised as Leolde. She had never imagined that the fifth prince of the empire would come.

However, there was no way she could back down just because the fifth prince came. For the sake of her country and her own love, Sylvia was determined not to give Leolde to the empire.

(Oh? Why is the fourth princess here? Oh, she must have known that we were coming and rushed over in a hurry.)

(If that's the case, let's change things up a bit. It will be more effective than the move I had originally thought of.)

Arkwright Langis, .the fifth prince of the Langis Empire, he came to Leolde as one of the messengers this time.

"It's been a long time, Lord leolde . Congratulations on your promotion to Count. We have heard of your success and are very pleased to hear of it.

When Arkwright acted as if they had met many times before, Leolde felt a blue streak on his temple.

(This guy! He's lying through his teeth!)

The other party is the fifth prince of the empire, even if he raises his voice to deny it. He can't make a scene. Leolde calmly tried to reply, but Arkwright folded him up as if to block his escape route.

"Is the water supply we provided of any use? Oh, no, you don't have to answer that. I checked on the residents on my way here, and I'm relieved to see that it's working well enough."

(Then don't ask me! No, this is no time to be poking around. He's trying to make her Highness suspicious! . Damn it, he's using a cunning trick!)

(Now, what's the princess' response?_

Arkwright finished his first attack and turned his attention to Sylvia. The only person there was Sylvia, who hadn't moved at all.

(She's not anry ? I was expecting her to at least show some kind of reaction, but this one seems to be quite formidable.)

(I see.  he was planning to angry  me by making it seem as if the Empire and sir Lolde were connected. That's not a bad idea.)

(If  they fall into suspicion,  sir Leolde - position will worsen, and it will be difficult for him to stay in the kingdom. He may have tried to help him in his weakened state and take control of him, but that's not going to happen.)

Sylvia, who saw through Arkwright's intentions, smiled and tilted her head in a cute way.

(It's a failure, isn't it?Let's give up on Leolde Harvest and just take the transfer magic at any cost.)

After realizing that he had failed, Arkwright smiled back at Sylvia's smile.

"Now, what business brings you to Ze'at, Sir Arkwright-?"

Leolde, tired from the start, asked Arkwright. Why did he come to Ze' at? Arkwright opened his mouth as Leolde started to talk about the main topic.

"You know that, don't you, Leolde? We have offered our technology. We came all the way from the Imperial Capital to be paid for our services."

(How dare you lie to me so brazenly. ......)

Although he was dismayed by Arkwright's breathtaking lies, Leorle decided to reply appropriately as he had no intention of taking him seriously.

"I'm not sure what you mean y that. The Empire is providing technology? I'm not sure what you mean.'

"Oh, well, it's not good to lie just because Princess Sylvia is here. I'm sure we've offered our service .

(Are you really going to come at me like that? ......)

(Now, how do  I  turn that around?)

Will the negotiations, in which both sides refuse to budge, be able to end successfully?
