Leoldo tells the girls who are hanging their heads in front of him.

"Does anyone still have a problem with that?"

"............

The only thing that comes back is silence. . As expected, Siegfried had seen the battle earlier, so he didn't interfere in any way.

They were beaten to a pulp by Karen and realized how weak they were.

The girls were depressed as they painfully realized how high the price was that Leolde was asking for. Are they depressed because they can't go with Siegfried, or for some other reason. No one knows for sure.

Leolde looked at the girls' expressions and let out a breath, thinking that they finally understood.

But the problem was not solved. The rest of the participants had to be decided.

If  to looked at their abilities alone, they were excellent. There were some personality issues, but there was no doubt that they were excellent.

However, once Leolde  made a promise, he couldn't take the girls who had lost to Karen with him.  .

So we have to find someone who can follow this infiltration mission.

(Now, what to do? ? should I  ask Sieg  to call Lois and Fred?)

 (I don't know. Yeah, let's do so.)

Leolde was thinking about having Siegfried go get them, and was about to call out to them, when he heard his name called.

"Sir Leode."

Leole o turns around when his name is called. There, he saw Sylvia, whom he had not seen in a long time.

"Your Highness, Sylvia. What brings you to a place like this?"

"Is it wrong for me to come?"

"No, it's not like that. ......"

Leolde  scratched the back of his head with a slap. Sylvia smiled happily at Leolde's embarrassing reaction after a long absence.

"The reason why I came here is because I thought that  sir Leolde would be in trouble."

Sylvia smiled and snapped her fingers. Then, out of nowhere, a group of suspiciously dressed people wearing masks appeared.

Leolde's eyes widened in surprise, wondering where the hell they had come from.

"It's my reliable subordinate. I wanted to help you in your mission to  get in the Imperial capital . How about it, Sir  Leolde?"

When he saw the people behind Sylvia, who was smiling bewitchingly, he was even more surprised and almost opened his mouth wide, but he held back.

(Seriously!)

I'm not sure what to do.

(That's the perfect for the job!)

He I was overjoyed inwardly, but hesitant to ask for the loan of an agent directly under the royal family.

They are the people behind the scenes supporting the royal family.  He wondered if it was okay to drag them to the front  line so easily.

On top of that, they were the subordinates of Sylvia, the fourth princess.

"You seem to be thinking about it in a difficult way, but Isabelle used to be one of my subordinates, you know."

When Sylvia saw that Leolde  was making a stern face, she told him that there was no problem.

(Oh, I see. It was too late for that.)

When he finally realized it, Leoldoe knelt down in front of Sylvia and hung his head.

"I would like to thank you for your kindness. I will definitely defeat the emperor."

"Sir Leolde. Please raise your head.

Leoldo did as he was told and rise hsi head

""Sir Leolde, can you set up a sound barrier?

"Yes, but here and now?"

"Yes.

"Yes, sir.""

Leolde wondered, but put up the soundproofing as Sylvia had told him.

"Sir Leolde. If I may tell you the truth, I would have liked to have gone with you."

"What ......?""

"My skill is sacred warding, a holy protection that rejects all magic. So, I would have been able to protect  you from any kind of magic.

 "Even against the Fire Emperor."

H"owever, I have a duty to protect this country. If I leave the country, morale will definitely drop."

Indeed, Sylvia was right. Sylvia's sacred ward is a holy protection that rejects magic and demons.

No matter how many mages cast spells on Sylvia, she would not be able to inflict a single wound.

Even Charlotte, the strongest  mage in the world, would not be an exception.

However, the sacred barrier is a protecting  only  from things related to magic. Therefore, it cannot prevent physical attacks. That's why Sylvia has many guards attached to her.

However, it can be said that she stands at the top in terms of preventing magic. The royal capital, protected by such a barier , is definitely safe.

That is why the people living in the royal capital can feel safe. How will people feel when the barrier are gone? It would be easy to imagine.

(Well, it would certainly be confusing if everything that was there until now was gone.)

"So, I can't go with you. But I can help you. So, Sir Leolde. Please don't hesitate to use my men."

"Thank you very much for your concern, Your Highness!":

(The ...... truth is that for me, a princess of a country, to go this far for an individual may be misunderstood in many ways, but ...... I don't want to lose you,  sir Leolde-!)

Sylvia's face was bright red as she put her hands on her cheeks and shook her body fidgety. Unfortunately, Leorde had lowered his head again, so I couldn't see Sylvia looking so cute.

Yes, Sylvia could not just sit down when she heard that Leolde was going to his death. At any rate, if he was not careful, Leolde would die and she would never see him again.

She didn't want Leolde to die at all costs, so she took action.

She begged the king to let her and Leolde  participate in the infiltration mission.

However, he was opposed to the idea, saying that he couldn't let Sylvia go, as she was the princess of the country and the key to its defense.

In that case, she asked the king to at least allow  her to lend  her own men to him .

And the result  as you see .

Well, at the end of the day, Sylvia was too weak to express her feelings, but the result was good , because it greatly reduced the possibility of Leolde's death.
