Inside the sleek black sedan, the atmosphere is a blend of professionalism and anticipation. Kim Suho, Yi Yeonghan, and Sven sit dressed in immaculate black suits, akin to a trio heading to a corporate rendezvous rather than an investigation. Their destination—an abandoned factory—beckons as the likely site of the attack on Aileen, the recently made wanted Human Dragon.

Yi Yeonghan takes the wheel, navigating the streets with a focused determination. Kim Suho occupies the seat beside him, his expression a mix of curiosity and mild bewilderment. The recurring trend of clandestine activities unfolding in abandoned factories flees Suho's comprehension, a fact that never fails to baffle him. “Just what is wrong with abandoned factories? Do villains like… spawn on them?”

Meanwhile, Sven occupies the rear passenger seat, his demeanor composed yet alert. “Nah, Suho, I am pretty sure it is not like that… ”His presence exudes a sense of readiness, prepared for whatever the investigation might unravel within the dilapidated walls of the factory.

As the sedan glides through the city streets, the trio maintains a taciturn air, each lost in their thoughts, mentally preparing. The faint hum of the engine punctuates the silence, a steady rhythm underscoring the gravity of their mission.

Yi Yeonghan's hands expertly guide the sedan through the city's labyrinthine streets as he throws a casual inquiry Sven's way. "So how’s Cube?"

Sven, seated in the back, glances out the window briefly before responding. "Not bad, no more terrorists… Oh, did you know guys, Hyon actually has a step-sister?"

Yi Yeonghan arches an eyebrow, his focus momentarily shifting from the road. "That Hyon?"

Sven nods, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Yeah, that Hyon."

Yi Yeonghan can't help but conjure an image in his mind. "Really? That Hyon? Brown hair, easy-to-forget face, cringe, like messing around with people, and seems to always do shady stuff? That Hyon?"

Sven grins, confirming with a laugh, "Yeah, that Hyon."

Yi Yeonghan can't resist diving into the gossip, his curiosity piqued. "So what is his step-sister like? Is she pretty?"

Sven, with a sly grin, spills the details. "Yeah, she is pretty, but don’t even think about it. She is always serious, never wears makeup, has a hard-to-detect presence like a ghost, basically terrifying, and seemed to have a rod rammed in her ass."

Kim Suho, seated beside Yi Yeonghan, fakes a cough, desperately trying to steer the conversation away. "Hey, Yeonghan, look at the road… focus on driving, man…" The awkward tension in the car rises, knowing both subjects of the discussion—Hyon Hyung and the mysterious step-sister.

Yi Yeonghan, undeterred, wears a leery, naughty smile, jesting, "A rod rammed in her ass, huh? I actually kind of dig it…" He shoots a glance at Suho, expecting his friend to contribute to the green-minded banter.

Suho, feeling extremely nervous, balks at the suggestion. "Oh, please, not now…" He grips the edges of his seat, unwilling to risk his neck for a green-minded joke, especially considering the enigmatic nature of Hyon's so-called step-sister. "I am not in the mood…"

A faint buzz resonates from Kim Suho's smartwatch, prompting him to glance at the screen. Initially expecting another message from Yun Seung-Ah, he's surprised to find it's a communication from Hyon Hyung. Swiftly, he shifts his attention to his AI-imbued glasses, concealing the message from prying eyes within the car.

As the digital words unfold before his eyes, the car jolts to a sudden halt, and Yi Yeonghan slams on the brakes. Startled, Suho looks up from his glasses, only to see a familiar figure standing abruptly in front of the vehicle. It's Yun Seung-Ah, adorned in the official uniform of the Creator Sacred Grace Guild—a white vest layered over a gray tunic.

The unexpected interruption leaves the car enveloped in stunned silence. Suho quickly lowers his glasses, a sense of confusion etched on his face.

A sharp edge creeps into Yun Seung-Ah's voice as she confronts Kim Suho, her anger palpable. "Suho! Why aren’t you picking up your phone!?"

Sven, sensing an opportunity for banter, interjects with a teasing remark. "What is this? Neglected girlfriend?"

Suho's face pales at the accusation, realizing the potential implications of his oversight. "Calm down," he mutters, quickly deciding to diffuse the situation. Exiting the car, he grabs Yun Seung-Ah by the arm and ushers her inside. The seating arrangement within the sedan shuffles, with Suho now settling into the back passenger seat alongside Yun Seung-Ah. Sven shifts to the seat beside Yi Yeonghan, who eyes the unfolding drama with bemusement.

As the car resumes its journey, the atmosphere inside is charged with an undercurrent of tension. Suho steals a glance at Yun Seung-Ah, silently acknowledging the need to address the abrupt communication lapse. But before even Suho can say more, Yun Seung-Ah explodes into a flurry of words.

Yun Seung-Ah's concern spills out in urgent words as she confronts Kim Suho. "So why aren’t you picking up your phone? Aileen is set up! There is no way she will be colluding with Djinns! I cannot believe she just became a wanted criminal all too out of the blue!"

Suho, meeting her gaze with a shared gravity, responds with a measured acknowledgment. "I know."

As the car continues its journey, Yun Seung-Ah delves further into the recent events. "A few days ago, she came to me… she told me, you warned her of possibly being targeted. She is targeted, Suho! She needs help!"

Suho's annoyance simmers beneath his words. "I know she is targeted... Wait, did you say she came to you? Yeah, makes sense she would go to you. Something must have happened."

Yun Seung-Ah, her worry palpable, presses on. "So, why aren’t you picking up your phone? It is an emergency, and you are the first person I thought of… Honestly, you are making me worry."

Suho, a hint of regret in his expression, attempts to assuage her concerns. "I am sorry, Seung-Ah, but you see, we are already on it." The weight of the situation hangs in the air, the urgency of the mission becoming all the more apparent as the car hurtles towards the abandoned factory, where the truth behind Aileen's sudden predicament awaits.

Yi Yeonghan, taking the lead in providing an explanation, addresses Yun Seung-Ah with a reassuring tone. "Yes, Seung-Ah-ssi, we are already on it… The reason Suho is not answering you is because he wants to focus on the job. We got a tip of where Aileen-ssi will be possibly attacked. Plus… Suho is unable to answer because we fear, we might be found out. We found out just yesterday that the Association had bugged our dorms, you know? Clearly, there was something more going on behind the scenes…"

Yun Seung-Ah absorbs the information, her understanding replacing the initial frustration. "I see… Sorry for being so selfish."

Sven, playing the role of the cheeky provocateur, interjects with a mischievous grin. "Don’t be so cruel, Yeonghan. Suho is just kind. Clearly, Suho doesn’t want to bother her since what happened to the Creator’s Sacred Grace, miserably failing and crumbling. I am fairly certain Yun Seung-Ah will be like… super busy."

Yun Seung-Ah, now grumpy, shoots a quizzical look at Sven. "And who is this kid?"

Sven, annoyed by the 'kid' label, retorts, "I am not a kid, my name is Sven!"

Kim Suho, sensing the rising tension, intervenes with a calming gesture. "Calm down, guys, we are all friends here…" The black sedan continues its journey, carrying its eclectic mix of Heroes possibly a Devil Slayer, just a punchy guy, a secretly MI6 Agent, and the Vice Guild Leader of Creator Sacred Grace— towards the ominous shadows of the abandoned factory, where secrets and dangers await.

The sleek black sedan comes to a halt beside the desolate and abandoned factory, its tires crunching on gravel as the engine falls silent. The Heroes—Kim Suho, Yun Seung-Ah, Sven, and Yi Yeonghan—emerge from the car, a determined air about them as they stand before the foreboding entrance.

The rusty metal door groans as it swings open, revealing the bleak interior of the abandoned factory. Dust hangs in the air, and a hushed stillness envelops the space. The vast emptiness of the factory becomes evident as they step inside, the floor strewn with scraps and the air thick with the scent of neglect. This place must have been abandoned since Outcall.

Idle crates, forgotten remnants of a bygone era, are scattered throughout the factory floor. The echoes of their footsteps reverberate in the cavernous space, creating an eerie soundtrack to their investigation. The Heroes move cautiously, their senses attuned to any sign of danger in the barren surroundings.

Yi Yeonghan, his strength evident as he pries open a crate with his bare hands, voices his frustration. "Nothing, what are we even looking for here, Suho?"

Suho, wiping sweat from his brow in the sweltering heat of high noon, explains their purpose. "This place will be an ambush spot. We need to find traces of any activity or traps. Information I acquired said this is where they will set up an ambush against Aileen. I don’t know why, though, Aileen will come here."

Yun Seung-Ah, thoughtful, offers a speculative idea. "Hmmm… I don’t want to be presumptuous, but to make someone come to a place, they will need bait. Aileen has no immediate family, and the strongest connection she has that I know of is me."

Yi Yeonghan, ever the realist, raises a concern. "Isn’t it bad news that you are here?"

Seung-Ah dismisses the worry with confidence. "Nah, it is broad daylight, and I have you guys around."

Yi Yeonghan nods, assuring her. "Yeah, you can rely on us."

The quartet strolls through the desolate expanse of the abandoned factory, a collective sense of purpose guiding their steps. Kim Suho and Yi Yeonghan, seasoned Agents from the Association, employ their honed sleuthing skills, scanning the surroundings for any subtle signs of recent activity. The vast emptiness of the factory becomes a canvas for their investigative prowess, and their eyes flicker with a shared understanding of the importance of their mission.

Yun Seung-Ah, with her keen observational prowess, adds a layer of insight to their exploration. Her eyes dart from one corner to another, analyzing the details that might elude the less perceptive. The high noon sun casts a stark contrast on the factory floor, creating shadows that conceal potential clues.

Sven, the undercover MI6 operative, operates in a realm of his own investigative methods. Unbeknownst to many, he brings a clandestine expertise to the team, his gaze sharp and analytical as he discreetly assesses the surroundings. Each member of the group contributes a unique skill set, weaving a tapestry of investigation that covers every angle.

But even with this all-star team of sleuths, they are not finding anything.

Yun Seung-Ah's concern deepens as she confronts Kim Suho, seeking answers to the mystery that shrouds Aileen's predicament. "Suho, is there something you are not telling me? What kind of individual will target Aileen? She is such a good person. Is the politics inside the Association so severe?"

Suho, his expression clouded with a sense of foreboding, reluctantly discloses the unsettling truth. "Seung-Ah, I don’t think it is an individual who is targeting Aileen, but the Hero Association itself…" He feels a heaviness at breaking the news to Seung-Ah, the weight of the organization's internal strife hanging in the air.

Sven, ever suspicious, interjects with a note of caution. "I don’t feel good about this… What is the source of your information, Suho? It might be fake, you know? We have been here for an hour, but we still cannot find anything."

Yun Seung-Ah, her eyes scanning the surroundings, suddenly notices a CCTV camera. "Look, there is a CCTV cam there. I don’t know why we didn’t notice it at first glance though…"

Suho, taking charge, decides to delve into the digital realm. "Wait a minute, I will hack it." He activates his high-tech eyeglasses, powered with an AI of its own. However, a disconcerting reflection glimmers in his eyes—the word [Recalibrating]. The unexpected glitch prompts Suho to voice his concern. "This is bad. Where is Yeonghan?"

A sense of urgency pervades the air as Yi Yeonghan bursts onto the scene, his hands bloodied from a sudden ambush by low-level monsters. He directs their attention to a group of people behind him—refugees, all bearing Korean features.

Sven, perplexed, questions the sudden appearance of the newcomers. "Where did these guys come from?"

Kim Suho, in a moment of realization, checks his smartwatch. However, when it synchronizes with the internet, an unexpected revelation dawns upon him. "Today is June 17, Year 1972… We are currently in the past when Outcall just began…" His mind races, attempting to make sense of the disconcerting information. "No, this is not exactly the past, but a mirror of the past. Looks like the information I got was fake after all, we got set up." Annoyance and disappointment ripple through Suho's words as he processes the realization that their mission is based on false intelligence.

The realization that something is amiss with their smartwatches ripples through the group, adding another layer of uncertainty to their already complex situation.

Yun Seung-Ah, decisively starting her smartwatch, is met with disappointment. "It is not working."

Yi Yeonghan, following suit, checks his own smartwatch to find it similarly unresponsive.

Sven, initially experiencing a flicker of hope as his smartwatch seems functional, abruptly loses his internet connection. "I just lost my internet connection." He taps his smartwatch lightly as if expecting a magical reconnection.

Kim Suho, troubled by the turn of events, checks his own smartwatch and concurs, "I have also lost my internet connection. Give up, Sven…" A frown creases his brow as he turns his attention to the group of survivors timidly trailing behind Yi Yeonghan. "First, let’s help these people and get our bearings right."
