Within the confines of the virtual reality space, I immerse myself in the task at hand, meticulously perusing the documents Aileen has entrusted to me. The digital glow of the screen, casts ambient light in the virtual environment as I absorb the information laid out before me.

Meanwhile, a lighthearted scene unfolds nearby. Rachel and Chae Nayun engage in a game of two-player Mario within the same virtual space. Rachel, it seems, possesses an innate skill for the game, effortlessly navigating through challenges and conquering each level. On the other hand, Nayun's attempts at playing the game seem to be fraught with difficulty. It becomes apparent that gaming might not be her forte as she navigates the game with less finesse.

Observing Nayun's struggles, I can't help but wince. The seemingly voluntary acts of virtual violence against the pixelated plumber induce a sense of sympathetic discomfort.

As we bide our time, awaiting Suho's arrival in the virtual space, a contrast of activities unfolds. The two girls, Rachel and Chae Nayun, engage in a spirited game of Mario, their laughter and playful banter creating a light-hearted atmosphere. Their virtual escapades provide a momentary diversion, a respite from the more weighty matters that occupy our minds.

In the midst of the gaming camaraderie, my attention is directed elsewhere. Seated in the digital realm, I delve into the documents provided by Aileen, my focus shifting to the Association's understanding of the complex theory behind timelines. In the world I hail from, the 21st century cultivated a wealth of knowledge, including the exploration of the multiverse concept. However, our reality lacked any feasible method of proving such existence.

Now, thrust into a world brimming with magic and supernatural phenomena, the prospect of understanding timelines takes on a different, almost eerie dimension. The very nature of this reality, with its magical powers and otherworldly elements, suggests the possibility of unraveling the mysteries of the multiverse. It's a prospect both intriguing and unnerving, as the unknown intricacies of time and space unveil themselves in a world where the supernatural is not just a theory but can be an everyday reality.

In the virtual expanse of the VR space, I devote my full attention to the intricacies of the Time Curve model. The visual representation sprawls before me, captivating my mind with its complexity and ingenuity. It's a concept I had previously encountered only in theoretical musings, and seeing it manifested in this virtual environment is nothing short of astounding.

Eager to comprehend the intricacies, I summon a bond paper and a pencil within the virtual realm. Drawing with deliberate precision, I create a perfect circle. This circumscribed space is designated as the known universe, the main universe where the fabric of reality as I understand it resides. The circle itself, the fourth wall, encloses this universe, a designation that elicits a wry smile considering my own situation—trapped within the world of a novel.

As I sketch lines outside the circle, tangent to its circumference, I designate them as timelines A and B, distinct yet interconnected. The theoretical space they occupy intrigues me, especially the point where these timelines are destined to collide. This collision, represented by the curvature of a Time Curve, gives birth to a sub-universe. It's a smaller reality, a self-contained entity birthing from the convergence of two timelines.

The scientific underpinnings of this theory, supported by intricate mathematical equations and a claimed precedent, fuel my contemplation. Yet, a sense of suspicion creeps in as the research claims to receive a message from another timeline. The implications of such a revelation ripple through my thoughts, sparking a cascade of questions about the nature of the multiverse and the intricacies of communication across temporal boundaries.

Chae Nayun vents her frustration as she struggles with the game’s challenges presented by Donkey Kong. "Ugh… I cannot get past Donkey Kong…"

Rachel, who secretly researched the game at some point, corrects her with a chuckle. "I think he is called Bowser, Nayun-ssi."

While the playful banter over the game continues, my concern about Suho's absence lingers. "Hey, it has been like an hour, right? Where is Suho? I cannot contact him."

Rachel, sharing the unease, adds, "Yeah, that worries me."

Chae Nayun interjects with a suggestion. "Isn’t he with Sven, your subordinate?"

Rachel, deciding to investigate, fiddles with her smartwatch, attempting to establish contact with Suho.

Chae Nayun, in an attempt to solve the mystery of Suho's whereabouts, raises a practical suggestion. "Doesn’t Suho have one of your AIs?" She directs her gaze at me. "He always wears those glasses with its own AI System, doesn’t he? You can just pop up there… jump scare him for me."

I respond with a mock look of guilt, feeling a pang of realization that such a capability wouldn't be beyond my usual actions. "What do you think of me? I cannot just pop up to him virtually and magically unless I purposefully placed a backdoor in his glasses?" The admission comes with a subtle sense of guilt, as if acknowledging a capability that I might not resist using.

However, I quickly emphasize my commitment to privacy and respect. "I won’t do that! I respect my friends’ privacy. What if he is having a private time? Touching himself… or making love with random girls."

Chae Nayun recoils with an expression of distaste. "Yuck, stop with the sexual jokes. They aren’t funny; they are disgusting! Also, you know, Suho is not that kind of guy..."

I playfully entertain Chae Nayun's suggestion, a mischievous glint in my virtual eyes. "So you want to check? Bet. The next time I recalibrate his glasses, I’ll put an illegal cam program on it… I will be betting he touches himself… no guy can ever resist the hand, no matter how pure they are!"

Chae Nayun, seizing the opportunity, makes her own terms. "Sure, bet… I want half of Hajin Page’s ownership."

Protesting the one-sided deal, I argue, "Hey, that’s unfair! Hmmm… Ok, fine, but you have to be there when Suho does touch himself."

Rachel, exasperated by the escalating banter, interjects, "Stop, guys. Oh, for the sake of the Queen of England, just stop… I cannot contact Sven. I also checked with Cube AI, and it seems as if his terminal vanished." The light-hearted exchange takes a sharp turn as the realization of Sven's disappearance grips us.

I decide to cast aside the figurative "kiddy gloves." Mentally manipulating my AI system, I establish a connection to Cube. Activating my Perfect Nerve Synchronization, I begin a process that involves infringing upon the privacy of many individuals, all in an effort to trace Kim Suho's location. The mental strain is apparent, but the urgency of the situation propels me forward. In this heightened state, I appreciate the nearly omniscient feeling, akin to the state Kim Hosup normally experiences while using the Orb of Solomon.

As the information flows into my consciousness, a sense of accomplishment accompanies the revelation. "I found them." I immediately halt my Perfect Nerve Synchronization, returning to a more conventional mental state.

Chae Nayun, eager for details, inquires, "Where?"

"Here in Seoul, at an abandoned factory… Then they vanished," I relay the information, my mind still processing the fleeting traces of Suho's whereabouts.

Rachel, concerned about potential threats, speculates, "Is it the Hassassins?"

"Theoretically, that’s possible, since the Hassassins specialize in stealth, and even I am doubtful if I can out-stealth them with my Gift… But I don’t think Suho will lose to them… Suho is a monster in personal combat," I explain, emphasizing Suho's formidable prowess in the face of potential adversaries.

Chae Nayun, drawing from her own experiences, offers an alternative perspective. "I don’t think it is the Hassassins. I have been thinking a lot lately about my Time Regression, and I remembered that one time when I and the others kind of slipped into the past…"

Considering her theory, I reflect on the possibilities. "Oh, that is a more likely theory… It would happen just in a blink of an eye, right? As in vanish?" I double-check the last time Suho’s GPS pinged its location, the intrigue in my virtual expression evident. "I will be honest, I loved that Story Arc…"

Chae Nayun, delving into the details, clarifies, "Hmmm… It wasn’t really slipping into the past… I think Hajin described it as a mirror of the past we experienced because of some crystals… I don’t know. I don't know? I barely remember it…"

The uncertainty surrounding the nature of Suho's disappearance deepens.

“I like reading about it— time travel shenanigans, but I swear— I hate dealing with them…” I confess.
