Rachel, while not directly relating to the topic, offers a compelling possibility. "Is it possible that they were set up?"

Intrigued, I prompt for more details. "How?"

Rachel delves into her theory. "You know, humanity is very good at weaponizing things, and Time Travel is no exception to this. I think it is a very effective way to banish people to other timelines… send them to a time where an apocalypse was just waiting to be unleashed or… had been unleashed."

Chae Nayun, contemplating the suggestion, expresses her uncertainty. "That’s… Hmmm… I don’t know, Kim Suho is pretty tough, and he has Sven and Yi Yeonghan with him."

Realization dawns upon me abruptly. "And Yun Seung-Ah too… She is with them. I detected her smartwatch… Holy Crap and Tissues! They got ‘time slipped’ in Seoul." The revelation sparks a surge of urgency as the implications of their situation begin to crystallize in my mind.

Rachel's expression shifts to one of understanding as the pieces of the puzzle start falling into place. "Ah!"

Curious and concerned, Chae Nayun seeks clarification. "Hey, hey… What’s happening?"

I, drawing on my historical knowledge, take on the role of an impromptu educator. "When Outcall occurred, Seoul was hit the worst! It was an apocalyptic event that almost razed this country into nonexistence! And if they were really 'Time Slipped,' then we can do nothing about it! We cannot even send help! Wait, holy shit, I realized something else…" My expression tightens with a realization that adds another layer of complexity to the situation.

Rachel, eager for the revelation, prompts, "What!?"

"If they were really time-slipped, then they were as good as dead. It was an 'instantaneous event' here in our main universe! This means that in our perspective, they should have returned right now despite experiencing years…" The grim reality of the temporal distortion sets in. "It has already been an hour or more since they got disappeared… ah— fuck, time is a bitch."

Within the confines of the virtual reality space, I find myself pacing in a state of half-panic. The weight of helplessness bears down on me, and I grapple with the frustration of being unable to control or understand the mysterious circumstances that have enveloped Kim Suho and the others. The irony is stark – despite possessing considerable strength and access to abundant resources, I am rendered powerless in the face of this unforeseen challenge.

The desire for omniscience lingers in my thoughts, the yearning for the ability to know every answer to every question. The unsettling reality, however, is that such absolute knowledge is an impossibility. I am acutely aware, perhaps more than most, of the inherent improbability of absolute perfection. Every perception of flawlessness is fleeting, subject to the relentless march of time and the unpredictable nature of existence.

I cast a glance at Chae Nayun, finding an unexpected calmness in her demeanor amidst the collective unease. Even Rachel, usually level-headed, shows traces of concern with a furrowed brow. Seeking guidance, I voice the question that weighs heavy on all our minds. "What do we do?"

Chae Nayun responds with an objective assessment, her composure unwavering. "What 'can' we do? Whatever we are going to do, we will do it together."

Relief washes over me at her pragmatic approach. "You are right. I am sorry for my panicking… Sometimes, I think I might have a messiah complex…"

Chae Nayun dismisses the notion with a candid analysis. "You kid yourself; it is Hajin who has a messiah complex. You? You do things at your own pace. When convenient, you do good, but when the goal necessitates you, you will not shy away from doing the underhanded, regardless of the cost, and that is why I worry for you, Hyon. We tread a delicate path for anti-heroes… We cannot have ourselves turning into villains."

"Yeah, I am sorry about that," I acknowledge, recognizing the weight of responsibility that comes with our unconventional roles and the potential pitfalls that lie ahead.

Chae Nayun, Rachel, and I contemplate our next course of action, each with our own responsibilities in mind.

Chae Nayun raises the question again, prompting Rachel to suggest a prioritized approach. "First and foremost, you and I should finish our personal missions… I went here in Germany personally as the Queen of England, and I’d rather not use any forceful approach. If only I can use my Gluttony Identity as much as I like…" Rachel recalls a past encounter, a quarter of a year ago, when she inadvertently got entangled in another Hero Guild's operations while assisting a cargo from Pandemonium to England. The incident forced her to unleash her powerful Valkyrie Mode, drawing global attention. The memory serves as a reminder of the delicate balance she must maintain.

Chae Nayun, committed to her mission, adds, "Well, that’s a given. I am almost halfway done cleaning up the Devil Sympathizers here in Italy. They are a weird cult, but they are legit… I had a run-in with several Djinns already on the brink of Master Rank, and that is not normal."

Taking stock of the situation, I decide on a different approach. "I will wait here in Under Cube… When you arrive, though, I might still be using the Time Dilation Chamber of the Little Blue Tower. I plan to crack as much as I can learn about this Time Curve Phenomena…"

I confess with a tinge of guilt, "Also, Nayun, I kind of hijacked your secretary… I had Hosup help me infiltrate the physical archives of the Hero Association…"

Chae Nayun, surprisingly unperturbed, responds, "That’s fine, at least you told me."

Attempting to divert the conversation, I inquire, "Uuumm… I just want to ask, why are you having Hosup build a base on the moon?"

Chae Nayun reveals her intriguing project with a hint of pride, "It is a personal project. There is actually a dungeon on the moon, information from the future." She points to her head, emphasizing her source of knowledge. "I just remembered them recently; I also added them to our database. You can ask Cube about the updated stuff. From time to time, I would remember some forgotten information of the future in the crevices of my brain."

"Neat… But a dungeon on the moon? I am surprised, but I did not expect that at all," I admit, genuinely intrigued by the unexpected revelation.

Chae Nayun wraps up the conversation, saying, "So, bye for now, we’ll discuss more of this later," and goes offline.

Rachel follows suit, saying, "Same for me," before disappearing from the virtual space.

Humming softly to myself, I too go offline, leaving the virtual realm to contemplate.

In the wake of the unsettling events surrounding Aileen and Kim Suho, the gravity of the situation becomes more apparent. A pervasive sense of unease settles over me as the realization dawns that something much larger is at play behind the scenes. The pieces of the puzzle don't fit neatly together, and the ominous shadow cast over Aileen, once a revered figure among Heroes, raises questions that demand answers.

Determined to unravel the intricacies of this setup, a resolute energy permeates me. The urgency to close in on the truth intensifies.

As one of the executives of this unconventional group, I find myself compelled to wield every resource at my disposal, tapping into the vast network of information, magical prowess, and strategic acumen that Under Cube provides. Closing this case becomes a personal mission, a quest for truth and justice that will not be deterred.
