Jin Sahyuk hands me a paper bowl cylindrical in shape. She fills it up with a generous amount of porridge with meat chunks on it. Whether my appalled expression is bothering her, I don’t know.

She simply remains smiling at me with kindness lacking any deceptive comfort. I know.

My is doing very excellent on projecting to me the emotional brilliance that radiates from Jin Sahyuk. I shudder at the thought of Jin Sahyuk reaching the levels of strength that can easily fool my judgment, but I digress as she proceeds to treat me kindly.

“Please eat well. You look so thin. You shouldn’t skip breakfast.”

Oh my G… I think I just imagined Rachel’s vestige in her too. This Jin Sahyuk is too nice, but I cannot let my guard down. Still, I cannot halt the line now lest I anger the people behind me. I move away, but not so far. I remain standing while I balance the bowl of porridge atop my palm. I use my plastic spork to sample the food. Unexpectedly, it tastes very good!

I observe everyone in the line obediently getting their share of food. Using my [Wisdom], I inspect each and every one of them to investigate if there is something off. I also have Hajin’s DDT goggles with me. I did not forget to borrow it when I decided to go out.

Still, I get nothing.

After a few more hours when everyone has eaten and gone their own way, I continue to remain. Jin Sahyuk sees me remaining standing in place prompting her to confront me. I prepare myself, there might be a fight.

“Hello, sir… Is there a problem? The feeding program has ended today. The GSG have limited funds so we can only do this once a day.” She pitifully explains.

GSG? That must be the acronym of their organization. I cannot find any words to say. Is this really it? I use [Wisdom] on Jin Sahyuk only to be shocked by the level of power she has…

She has none.

I should be able to tell. Nothing can fool the combined assessment of my [AI System] and [Wisdom]. Even Hajin who appears deceptively weak to others appears to my detection has frighteningly strong.

“Sir, do you still want more? I should be able to scrape a few more, wait for me!” Her eyes land on the paper bowl and spork in my hand. I forget to get rid of them as I am too awestruck by the Jin Sahyuk in front of me.

The GSG’s staff is still in the process of cleaning up. Jin Sahyuk gets another paper bowl into which she places every grain she can scrape from the giant metal pot. She returns to me and replaces the empty paper bowl in my hand.

I grimace.

“It is okay, sir! Please eat! If you don’t have anywhere to go, our place is open for you!” She cries with a hint of joy. She is totally misunderstanding it. I don’t mind though as I can use this to my advantage.

I finish whatever porridge is in my paper bowl. “Can you please show me around?” I ask her.

A hint of joy appears in her eyes. “Yes, please follow me! But first, let’s help with the cleanup!” She grabs my paper bowl and stuffs it in a trash bag. I follow her and contribute what I can making it easier for the others.

I really cannot imagine Jin Sahyuk as a helper, and in a charity organization too not to boot! That is like... super impossible... unless the Jin Sahyuk with me here is not the Jin Sahyuk I know.

I make casual talk with the other helpers, while we clean up.

The hyung and noona are very accommodating too, and they don’t seem to be bad people. I begin to question the real purpose of this making this organization. To name it after a rookie supercriminal sounds very dubious to me.

Jin Sahyuk brings me around the abandoned factory. It is not really abandoned as a lot of activity is actually going on inside. There are even a few places where people gather and paint over walls in an attempt to refurbish them.

“This place has been donated by an anonymous benefactor. The people here are full of refugees from other places who illegally sneaked in here to Korea.” Jin Sahyuk explains the situations of most people here. “Of course, not all of them are refugees. I for example is an orphan…” She explains her situation to me too without any lies.

She is so open, so bright, and so kind. These are the feelings I get from observing her through .

“Prihi, do you remember me?” I test her to see if she is the Jin Sahyuk I know.

“Huh? Are you mistaking me for someone? Or do I remind you of someone?” She bounces back.

Again, all I get from is that she is telling the truth.

From there on, I decide to stop my investigation. “I see…” I offhandedly comment. When Jin Sahyuk faces forward to lead me in exploring more of the place, I vanish with the wind using [Always Here].

It is rude to leave her just like that in the lurch when she is so kind to me, but she is uninvolved now. The best thing I can do for her is to disappear from her life. I remove myself from the abandoned factory.

My investigation has not ended yet. I proceed to investigate where the donations come from to GSG. I also research how it is formed even going as far as to break into their more secured places to search for more damning physical evidence of what conspiracy might be under all of this facade.

I am gone from Cube in a day, and a day more.

Finally, I come to accept the reality of the situation. GSG is a normal organization. Initially, this support group is initially planning to name themselves OKM which stands for Oppressed Korean Movement. The active resentment for the Hero Association is moving this volatile from behind the scenes that it reached this point. It just happens that for OKM, they can have a much better name in the form of using the Goblin’s name.

Of course, there are repercussions, but GSG has passionate people within their group, and Jin Sahyuk is one of them. Jin Sahyuk is meant for a future of cruel labor to achieve her destiny. She will face hardship like no other to have that one chance of saving her world. Alas, the Jin Sahyuk that I met is not the Jin Sahyuk I… no… that we know…

From TNE, Jin Sahyuk’s real identity is that she is the transmigrated soul of Prihi, the last royalty of Akatrina. However, here, in this current timeline, Prihi has not transmigrated leaving Jin Sahyuk as Jin Sahyuk.

I return to [Under Cube] with complicated emotions. I am gone for three straight days. Thankfully, my absenteeism will not be marked on my class record as the month-long preparation for the festival is somewhat treated in a loose sense that students are free to do as they like to prepare for it.

My friends try to talk to me about the result of my little side quest. I don’t know why, but I feel reluctant at first to tell them about Jin Sahyuk. In the end, I confess to them that I thought that I found a lead to Bell.

I remain to guard Jin Sahyuk’s identity as a secret. In my eyes, she is an innocent soul with none of Prihi’s destiny hanging over her. I dread that a single mention of her will bring her into the vortex of confusion and destruction.

Suho is right. Words have power, and even a casual mention of something can affect a person’s destiny. That is how luck works after all. If I have to put a more aggressive motivation to pushing on using the Seven Deadly Sins as our template then it is that I am hoping that one day… each of us… from Sinful… will not just slay Devils, but also steal their Authority.

I feel my stomach churn. I recall making a promise to myself to no longer withhold any information to them especially with Hajin coming clean. Am I making the right choice?

Jin Sahyuk is a civilian, a powerless innocent who is swept in the power struggles of what I deem to be the work of Supreme Existences beyond our comprehension. I have power and knowledge, thus making me liable for whatever is happening. The same goes for Hajin and Nayun.
