“Huh? Talk over the phone?”

Spring and Summer looked to her side at Lee Hyun-woo’s bold proposal.

Judging by where her eyes were looking, it was probably the area where the individual behind the 1:1 manager chat was located.

It may have been her younger brother advising her on what she should do.

But whoever was advising her, it didn’t matter.

Hyunwoo Lee pushed on.

It would be good if things worked out, otherwise, he could just find another streamer to work with.

[Baeksu King gifts 100 coins!]

– You can give me a number, use the DICO chat, or use the voice talk feature as well.

“Ah! Shall we do the DICO then?”

It appeared that her brother had given his approval of that Idea

Hyunwoo Lee executed the DICO function.

DICO was an abbreviation for direct commenting (‘DI’ in DIRECT and ‘CO’ in COMMENT) and was a voice chat support program.

It is usually used for friendships and interacting in games or subreddits.

“Hello?”

“Hello! Unemployed!”

“Hi. Oh, can you hear me clearly?”

“Yes Yes! Sure.”

The call started and there was immediately a moment of awkwardness.

However, Lee Hyun-woo had a weapon that would blow away the awkwardness at once.

It was called ‘financial therapy’.

“I’ll pay your calling charge first.”

“Call cost?”

[Baeksu King gifts 10,000 coins!]

“Aaaaa! Again, ten thousand coins again! Thank you! I’ll go right into the reaction!”

“No, wait for a moment. Your reactions are very nice, but can you talk to me first until the phone call is over?”

“Ah! Yes! Okay! What kind of reaction should I do?”

This is how her thought process was.

‘Haa… It’s not like demons will haunt you at night if you don’t react.’

Maybe it was because she was not used to streaming yet, so when she finally had something to do, she seemed to blindly think about it.

“Think about that later. Where did you go to study abroad?”

“America. I was originally going to graduate from high school there... but because of my family circumstances, I couldn’t stay in the US, so I came back to Korea. I am in the third year of high school again because my high school credits were not recognized.”

“So it was America. You must have been popular in America. Even though there is no correction on the camcorder, even then your beauty is breaking through the screen.”

“Ehehe. Not at all… maybe just a little bit? Still, I’ve never been in a relationship before. Ah! I’m not saying that to be polite, but for real! My family was very strict, so I only went back and forth between school and home. My mom even drove me to and from school every day.”

-It’s true bro.

-I lived the same life...

-That’s why both my sister and I are ignorantᅲᅲᅲ

In the room with no viewers, Hyunwoo Lee had a long conversation with streamer Summer.

She was a 20-year-old returning student that hadn’t even finished school, which had him thinking she was the female equivalent of a bad boy.

But as she talked, he could tell that she wasn’t that kind of a kid.

Rather, she presented as if she thought not finishing her education was a punishable crime.

“I was originally assigned to a private high school, but private high school fees are expensive. So I am going to transfer schools. But moving from private to public is going to take some time. That’s why I turned on the stream today.”

The Spring and Summer siblings gave up studying in the US due to family circumstances and returned to Korea.

And he guessed that the family situation must have been related to their parents.

It felt as though they were now living apart from their parents for some reason, or were in a situation where they could no longer receive support from their parents.

‘Great. It’s been decided. I’ll be raising my own Najabbi (my own little BJ)!’

Najabbi originally had a negative meaning.

It meant that an over-immersed viewer was having a good time with a low-key streamer who was especially good at replying.

The negative connotations of such an act were that over-immersed viewers had no interest in the growth of the stream and the making of money by the streamer.

Rather, viewers who acted as Najabbis hoped that the streamer’s streams would not grow, so that they could only interact with each other for 24 hours in the day.

That’s why it was bad.

However, Lee Hyun-woo’s idea of a Najabbi was slightly different.

The picture he drew in his mind was just like when his school hyung took over the Manchester United club in a football manager game because he wanted to experience the feeling of being a manager in real life.

Hyunwoo Lee was also trying to simulate a sort of streamer training in real life.

Of course, this required a different level of care than an ordinary Najabbi regimen.

But before that, something important had to be done.

The Cashback Agreement.

“Cashback? Is that okay?”

“If you think it’s strange, you don’t need to do it. I’m saying this because there’s no one else here, but all the streamers I sponsor are in cash-back contracts with me.”

“Ah! Really? Then I’ll do it! If I received 10,000 coins then, I would give 150,000 won back, right?”

“Right.”

‘I knew it. Making the cashback deal is so easy. Well, it made perfect sense. What would you do if someone told you they would give you 100 million and only asked for 15 million won back? There is no fool in the world who would refuse such an offer.’

“Then will you be shooting several times a week...?”

“It depends on how you perform.”

Hyunwoo Lee had no intention of treating Spring and Summer like other streamers.

He meant to discriminate, not to give preferential treatment.

For other streamers, he had decided to sponsor 1 million coins per month unconditionally.

But for spring and summer, it was slightly different.

“According to how I perform?”

“Yes. Here’s the first quest. Seek a New Tube editor and receive ten thousand coins. Increase the number of fan registrations to receive 10,000. Receive 10 recommendations per day, and receive 10,000. Reach 10 Subs and receive 10,000. What are you doing? Aren’t you going to write this all down?”

“Huh? Ah yes! I’ll write it down! Please say it one more time.”

Lee Hyeon-woo issued quests to Bom Yeo-Reum.

‘This is actually quite fun. I wonder what spring and summer will do to clear my quests?’

Lee Hyeon-woo, who saw Bom Yeo-Reum write down the quest in her notebook, created another quest. This time it was a side quest.

“And what I’m issuing from now on are just side quests. For buying a DSLR camera, you will receive 5,000. 5,000 for transmission of resolution equipment. Equip your room with some lights for 5 thousand. A Sound barrier... actually, that’s a little pricey, so we’ll do that later. And for cleaning the room, a thousand. Buying clothes for streaming, one thousand… etc etc… One hundred airtime announcements.”

Hyunwoo Lee created quests as he thought them up.

The difficulty was arbitrary, and the reward balance was broken.

But what of it?

It was just about the heart of the person who would give the money.

And if he had an idea for spring and summer, he’d start by issuing them urgent quests that would make him money.

“If you get a New Tube editor, cut out the cashback portion and edit it from the beginning of the quest. If possible, cut out the cashback parts and deliver the video to the editor as well.”

“Yep! All right! Thank you!”

After Lee Hyeon-woo’s words, Bom Yeo-Reum stood up and gave him a 90-degree bow in farewell.

She was still at a loss as to what to make of all this.

But she knew that this was a huge opportunity that didn’t come easily in life.
