She didn’t know the reason nor the details of why these charges were placed against her parents.

All she heard was that a dangerous American gang was linked to the case.

So she had no choice but to leave for Korea from the United States in a hurry.

Because the gang could have killed her family.

With the exception of her father, who was in prison, her family decided to flee to South Korea.

But at the airport, it was found that her mother was a wanted individual.

Lee Yu-na and Lee Ji-hoon decided they would stay in the United States, but the siblings’ mother forced them to go to Korea.

And like that, they eventually arrived in Korea.

When she first landed in Korea, she was in despair.

How could life be so twisted?

Still, there was still some hope remaining.

The Korean embassy agreed to help out her mother in the trial in the foreign country.

But the first trial would be six months later.

She could go back to her original life if she only endured until then and their parents won the case by proving that she had been cheated.

The brother and sister who had hope started to make a move.

They had spent a week in which they hadn’t done anything while wallowing in despair.

To make up for the lost time, she decided to work even harder after the despair.

First, they had to enrol at school again.

However, the private school her mother had reserved for them was too expensive.

The money the siblings had on hand was only 7 million won.

And now, they only had 5.5 million won left to eat and buy what they needed to last, because of the money spent in their week of despair.

It was an issue that arose because of their previous consumption habits kicking in from when they were in the United States.

They could not continue like that.

A danger warning light lit up in her head.

She knew they would not survive on 5.5 million won for 6 months.

What if their cost of living ran out?

They would starve.

It was a life of hunger that she could have never foreseen in her life.

It was terrifying just imagining such a circumstance.

The siblings lived a frugal from then on.

They applied for a transfer to a free education public school, and not a private school with its expensive tuition.

She bought only the cheapest things possible to save on living expenses.

She also worked hard to find a part-time job.

Perhaps because of her good looks, it was actually quite easy to find a part-time job.

Everywhere she went for an interview, she was pimples to join them right away.

All she had to do was to decide where to join.

And during that time, her brother mentioned Korea TV streaming as an option.

If one did well on that platform, one could earn a few million won a month.

But there was something she was worried about with that avenue.

She hated the idea of selling her looks and body, but she also thought it would be too difficult to go to school and work a part-time job at the same time.

So she started a stream just once as a test and met Lee Hyun-woo on her first ever stream.

“President! This is so cool! Ahahahahaha!”

Lee Yu-na stuck her head out of the passenger side window.

It was a dangerous act that should never be done, but Lee Yu-na now had an irresistible urge to do so.

Although she hid her feelings and smiled while at her new school and when streaming each night, her heart felt sick.

Because it was so frustrating.

She was worried about what would happen in the future.

As they drove down the road and she was hit by the wind, it felt like her stuffy heart was being emptied out.

She felt a sense of liberation.

Yes, it was truly liberating.

She used to think that things like fast driving were done by bad people or people who had nothing to do.

But now she found herself finding such an act fun too.

Even though she had decided to join him on the drive, she still felt a little negative inside, with worries about her brother plaguing her.

But there was nothing like that anymore.

So she felt even more grateful to the chairman who suggested they go on the drive.

“Yuna! It’s all fun and all, but don’t stick your head out too much. It is very dangerous.”

“Ehehehe! Yeah!”

Lee Hyun-woo said that while slowing down the car a little.

He had not realised she would like it that much.

Choosing Lee Yu-na as his partner on the first drive date was the correct decision.

The refreshing sound of the opening of a beer could be heard.

But it wasn’t his beer can that was popped open since Hyunwoo Lee had to drive.

“President. Cheers!”

Still, Lee Yu-na shouted cheers to Lee Hyeon-woo, who was holding a cola can, as if she was treating him as a drinking buddy.

Lee Hyun-woo responded back as he bumped his cola can against her beer can.

“Are you really okay with this? There are many more expensive and delicious places we could go.”

“It’s really fine! I really wanted to try chicken and beer while watching the night view of the Han River! I like this better than those expensive places.”

“Well then, it’s good if you like this.”

After the drive, the sense of distance between Lee Hyeon-woo and Lee Yu-na was greatly reduced.

It was all thanks to Lee Yu-na’s love of the drive.

Lee Yuna had Lee Hyun-woo laughing with her fresh and bright behaviour, as shown in her stream.

“Ha, this is good.”

“Yep.”

“Thanks to the president, I had a novel experience today. The drive was fun too. And it’s enjoyable eating chicken and drinking beer like this.”

It was a time when people became extra emotional- at two in the morning.

After drinking two cans of beer, Lee Yu-na’s eyes were stained with her inner emotions.

Every time she heard the sound of the Han River flowing, she was overcome with various emotions—

Worry about her parents.

Anxieties about the future.

Little flutters from joy.

All thanks to Hyunwoo Lee.

‘Do other people feel this way in their lives? How could I feel so happy about such a small thing?’

“What is happiness?”

It was a question that was probably a bit puzzling.

However, Lee Yu-na’s appearance and age, as well as the sentimental atmosphere brought about by the darkness of it being 2 in the morning, made him feel generous enough to answer her question seriously.

“Happiness...? Well. I don’t know.”

“I didn’t think even rich people like you would know. Me either to be fair. I didn’t know what happiness truly was. But these days, I feel a little happy. Thanks to the chairman, our economic situation has improved, and I had a crazy experience like today. Ah, right! So what I meant was thank you so much for helping me out. I am happy thanks to the president. Thank you.”

Lee Yu-na was clumsy, but with true sincerity, she conveyed her feelings to Lee Hyun-woo.

Once again, Lee Hyeon-woo’s heart was touched.

Hyunwoo Lee stretched out his arms and hugged her.

“Oh, huh? Oh!”

Lee Yu-na, who had never been hugged by a man, tensed up and her body went stiff.

Hyeon-Woo Lee, who impulsively hugged her, was also working hard on how to proceed in his head.

He hugged her for the first time.

‘What should I do next?’

Her body was stiff, but her rejection was not as severe as expected.

‘How can I get Yuna into a hotel?’
