Chapter 319: Was she hallucinating?

Tang Li did not know how to react to the things she got to know today. She was sitting in a small café in front of the hotel as she watched the waves of the sea.
Yesterday, her heart has been in turmoil for killing people. It was her first time to do something as such. But at last, she convinced herself that if she had not killed, then she would have been killed instead.
While Si Xiu and Li Yu were thinking that she was still in the penthouse, she sneaked out of there to have some time alone.
She glanced at the couple who were kissing under the large parasol as a shade point.
Her thoughts traveled back to the day before her birthday when Mo Yuhan and her kissed under his suit jacket in the heavy rain.
A small smile made its way to her lips as she thought about that but it faded as soon as she was reminded of everything that Li Yu revealed.
"Kingsman Faction is not some ordinary gang or group. They are a huge organization that has been lived up to their notorious reputation in the past few years. President has used up everything in his hand to find out more about their leader and why he was targeting you. He even ordered the core members of the IT department to hack into their systems which in turn caused them to track the routes and come back to Mo Empires. Luckily President Tang and President Mo were both great IT experts and they managed to handle the sudden attack. But a small amount of data was already stolen along with a piece of information which was not supposed to be known," Li Yu had told her.
At that moment, Tang Li was in complete disbelief. So much have happened yet she did not have an idea about that. Even her brother knew everything? The little guilt she was feeling because of lying to him about going on a business trip disappeared at that point. All she felt was a small stab of betrayal, harsh and painful.
Both the important men in her life did not think she needed to know it. Was that how fucking useless was she in their eyes?
"What has this got to do with Mo Yuhan's sudden disappearance?" She had asked Li Yu. Even if Kingsman Faction got to know that it was Mo Yuhan who hacked into their systems, they wouldn't dare to lay a finger on him, the current head of one of the royal family, the cold and ruthless CEO of Mo Empires.
As if noticing her doubts, Li Yu explained further, "They have nothing to do with President's disappearance nor do they have the ability to make him disappear all of a sudden. Though I don't know what happened, it was President's own decision to leave," And heck if she did not feel a stab in her heart; it was his own decision to leave but why? "Moreover, after that data invasion, President's connection to military was revealed. Even after leaving the military, President had links with the military. He was assigned to protect something but nobody knew of what it was. From what I know, Kingsman Faction has been searching for that thing for years but they never got the gist of where it was until that incident."
When Mo Empire's system was hacked a small amount of data was stolen, it was easy for them to get the hint that maybe the thing was with Mo Yuhan behind the curtains of Mo Empires.
"No matter what, I'll find you," Tang Li muttered to herself as she ate the last bite of her seventh chocolate pastry. Earlier she was depressed about being kept in dark regarding the whole thing, but right now she was a bit appeased.
"He really dared to run away from home…" Tang Li scoffed in annoyance.
Focusing on the brighter side, her brother and Mo Yuhan care too much about her which is why they kept her in dark.
Who are you kidding? You still are not happy with it!
Tang Li sighed. Whatever! She would first find Mo Yuhan then after that she would decide how to treat both these men for keeping her in dark.
"Commander Mo…"
Tang Li stiffened. She gently patted her ears. Was she hallucinating after knowing all this? Yes, that must be it!
With that thought, she relaxed in her seat. Maybe I should give the governor another call and see if he found any clues.
If he didn't find any, then she will have to contact the higher authorities.
One thing that she was relieved of was that her grandfather was still abroad. She was never good at lying with and with his networks, it would not have taken him long to know how she was messing with danger. That old man would have dragged her back to Beijing for a good beating.
Just as she was about to order another chocolate pastry, she froze all of a sudden.
"Commander Mo.. wait.."
Tang Li's ear perked up when she heard that melodious female voice. She looked around the café to find the source of the voice but unfortunately, the café was empty except for a few staff members and a family of three.
Tang Li was sure she did not hallucinate. She stood up from the chair before looking out of the glass. The beach was not that crowded and she guessed it was because the sun was at its highest point at this time in the afternoon.
She took out a few bills from her purse before keeping them on her table. It did not take her long to find herself walking out of the café.
"Shut up! What are you shouting for, fool?"
Tang Li paused when she heard the voice. It belonged to a man. Although she was not sure, her instinct told her that the man was talking to the woman who was yelling 'Commander Mo' again and again.
The voices were distant but she managed to hear them because of her grandfather's special training.
She looked around the beach, the scorching sun burning her skin.
Her arm injury from yesterday was yet to heal but she did not give it any attention.
Her eyes lit up all of a sudden.
